After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1625: Chapter 448: Cassano’s Alibi

After listening to Ibrahimovic brag, they decided to turn their attention to the new Milan recruit.

He looked very honest.

”Ivan, how does it feel to play for Milan?”

The reporter asked.

Rakitic smiled and said, ”Playing for Milan makes half of my dream come true.”

”What about the other half? Do you want to go to Real Madrid or Barca?” the reporter asked with a smile.

He felt like he had a big scoop.

Rakitic brushed his sweat-soaked bangs and said, ”The other half will have to wait a few more years, because I’d rather play at St. Kevin Stadium, which isn’t completed yet.”

”Ahem... I see, and what do you think of Kevin, is he the best player?”

The reporter asked with a few dry laughs.

”You’re asking me if Kevin is the world’s best? That’s like asking if you need a soccer ball to play soccer. Kevin is a miracle. I admire him and have always been learning from him. I know I can’t reach Kevin’s height, but even learning a bit from Kevin can make me a football superstar.”

Rakitic said.

Reporter:...

Quickly turned to look for other figures.

Originally thought Ibrahimovic was over the top, but then a new Lineker appeared.

Sky TV’s reporter felt that this new Milan player would often make the papers in the future and could compete with Lineker for who is Huang Kaiwen’s most devoted fan.

The post-match press conference was much simpler.

Guardiola and Wenger both praised the opposing team.

Then the entire Milan team returned to the hotel.

Four teams in total participated in the Emirates Cup, and Milan had another match in London.

And back in Manchester, Cassano was getting more and more annoyed.

Today he made a fool of himself in front of Capello.

He decided to regain some face.

Cassano took out his phone and dialed Higuain’s number.

The next day.

Capello got up early.

After bathing and getting dressed, he offered incense to the Three Pure Ones before starting his daily lesson.

Laura had already gotten used to Fabio Capello’s situation.

Having a belief isn’t bad, at least now Fabio Capello’s mental state had improved a lot.

When Fabio Capello came out, she already had breakfast laid out.

”You really don’t need to prepare so much.”

Capello said with a smile, ”Don’t indulge too much in gastronomic pleasures.”

”Yes, yes.”

Laura Capello persuaded in a childlike tone, ”But you also have to ensure your nutrition, you’re the coach of the world’s most-watched team.”

”That’s not wrong.”

Capello said with a pout.

He’s quite displeased with Fleet Street in this regard.

Too much public attention can also affect the players’ focus.

Capello was very sure that those pesky reporters need to take some responsibility for the England national team’s performance. He decided to have a good talk with Fleet Street on the next matchday.

”How’s that kid Antonio doing lately?”

Laura asked while eating her fried eggs.

”Him? Should be alright.”

Capello said suppressing a laugh.

Thinking about yesterday’s events, he felt secretly delighted.

”Try to talk to him when you have time. I saw in the newspaper this morning that he was messing around with two girls in Manchester for over 10 hours, still in the hotel when the paper went to print.”

Laura said.

”Ha, that’s just the kind of person he is.”

Capello said in frustration.

”Don’t be like that, Fabio. Antonio is not a bad kid.”

Laura continued to persuade.

Capello didn’t say anything and directly got up, went to the door and picked up his briefcase and car keys.

When there’s no national team match, he goes to scout Premier League players and see if he can learn something from other coaches.

Changes in football happen quickly.

No one can rest on their laurels forever.

Capello hummed a tune from his hometown as he walked to the parking spot.

At his beloved car, he felt the blood rush to his head.

Again!

The wheels of his car were gone again.

Capello instinctively wanted to shout that name, but the words got stuck in his throat.

Laura saw the news in the paper that Cassano had been messing around with two girls, and he returned home very late. Cassano was already at the hotel by then with no time to commit the act.

Who the hell was it?

Capello vowed, if he catches them, he’ll definitely kill that bastard!
