After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1595: Chapter 443: New Interstellar Warships Assembling

Finished handling the transfer issues.

Huang Kaiwen and Lily hurried to South Africa.

Yellow Ball King is not a participant, nor a guest performer, but will kick off the opening match.

FIFA arranged a process similar to baseball just to let Yellow Ball King show his face.

Huang Kaiwen is not in it for the over 10 million Euros, he mainly wants to promote football development.

Just as the two got off the plane, Gagliani quickly ran over with an umbrella.

Barbara is the chairman of Milan.

But Huang Kaiwen is the supreme ruler of Milan.

In order not to go to Africa to build the Third World again, Gagliani tailored a whole plan.

Actually, this plan has one core, to serve Huang Kaiwen well!

If Huang Kaiwen is happy, even if he offends Barbara, he can stay at Milan.

”Kevin, we’ve already handled your salary plan. Because of your influence, Milan applied for special terms; Serie A offers tax reductions and exemptions for famous stars. Your player salary for the new season is 25 million Euros, coach salary is 15 million Euros, and the contract includes a clause for the highest income worldwide. No matter which player renews the contract for a salary higher than 25 million Euros, and which coach’s salary is higher than 15 million Euros, your salary will automatically increase by 1 Euro more than them. The remaining 60 million Euros will be paid by the Serie A league’s broadcaster, Fininvest Group.”

Gagliani said flatteringly.

”Whatever.”

Huang Kaiwen said casually.

Anyway, it’s all their own money.

Primarily, the salary ties with his status in football; otherwise, to meet FFP, Yellow Ball King wouldn’t mind not taking a salary.

Such a huge salary must be shared with sponsors, otherwise, the team can’t bear it.

Reus’s salary at Dortmund is around 10 million Euros and needs a sponsor’s share; Milan can afford such high salaries with great difficulty.

In the declining era of Serie A, Milan can still support so many stars.

It’s fair to say Huang Kaiwen previously greatly promoted Milan’s commercial development.

After he returned to Milan, Milan’s salary is almost equal to the sum of Juventus and Inter Milan, that’s how exaggerated it is.

Ibrahimovic, Kaka, Torres, these attacking players are all in the top ten in football salary rankings.

Nesta, Pirlo’s salaries aren’t low either.

Once Neuer and those players renew their contracts, Milan’s salaries might explode. Fortunately by then, the old players should take pay cuts.

On the way to the hotel, Gagliani kept reporting Milan’s transfer work to Huang Kaiwen.

Currently, Milan mainly focuses on strengthening defenders, getting close with Greek defender Papastathopoulos; Gagliani also has eyes on Villarreal’s Godin, competing with Atletico Madrid.

In the midfield and front, Yaya Toure, Di Maria, Rakitic, Cavani are on Milan’s recruitment list, even Özil.

Considering their strength, this recruitment list is indeed impressive.

Besides these, there are quite a few fringe picks.

Of course, Huang Kaiwen would never agree to let Özil play for Milan.

”Pedro Leon?”

Settled at the hotel, Huang Kaiwen carefully looked at the list and asked.

”Yes, we’re eyeing Real Madrid’s recruitment.”

Gagliani explained: ”This youngster has a promising future, can let him come as your backup.”

Huang Kaiwen:...

This sounds more reasonable.

Most Real Madrid’s targets should be on this recruitment list.

Pedro Leon is quite talented, but after failing to compete for a position at Real Madrid, he started to decline; with 9 goals and 12 assists in the season, he can be a major player on the wings for a regular national team, having someone like him on England’s shining team can make them ecstatic, England really lacks wingers, especially ones with organizational abilities.

But he can’t even make it into Spain’s 30-man national team roster, let alone the final 23; Spain nowadays has limited talent in the defenders position, players like Abeloa are a bit lacking, but the midfield and front is insane, all have the starting strength for top clubs.

”Mainly Godin and Rakitic, other players can be put on hold.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Milan is currently top-heavy, still needs to strengthen defensive players.

”Alright, I got it.”

Gagliani then handed Huang Kaiwen a folder.

Huang Kaiwen opened it and said with laughing and crying: ”Buffon coming to Milan is impossible, he broke the transfer fee record when he moved to Juventus.”

”Buffon’s agent called us, asking if there’s a chance to play for Milan, he’s willing to take a pay cut to compete with Neuer at Milan, if he becomes the main player, then raise the salary.”

Gagliani said in difficulty.

He never even dreamed that the Italian national keeper would pull such a move.

Gagliani himself is a bit stunned, Buffon as a top-tier goalie and Italian national player, he really wants to bring him to play for Milan, but the team already has Neuer.

Huang Kaiwen also feels pretty good about it.

Milan’s current dual lineup is more exaggerated than later Manchester City.

but it’s just a thought.

Having a main goalie spending tens of millions on recruiting a goalie, what about Neuer, renting him to Bayern?

”Forget it, unless Juventus asks for a low price.”

Huang Kaiwen said with regret.

Such a thing is simply impossible.

A outstanding goalie is crucial, Schmeichel and Van der Sar contributed greatly to Manchester United’s dynasty, during which several butterfingers really troubled Manchester United.

As long as Juventus agrees to sell, Sir Ferguson would go to South Africa to meet Buffon the next day.

Bayern is also looking for a high-level goalie.

Juventus would be stupid to send Buffon away at a low price.

Huang Kaiwen and Gagliani talked for a long time, confirming to drop players like Yaya Toure, but still maintaining the bid. Toure is strong, but Manchester City’s salary offer is too high to match for Milan.
