After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1297: Chapter 386: Buffon: Team Doctor, Team Doctor

”What are you doing? You think you’re Jim Carrey.”

Maldini pointed to the stands with a laugh and said, ”Look at how happy the fans are laughing. Do you want to put on your green mask?”

Huang Kaiwen shrugged and said, ”Then I’ll get serious.”

Otherwise, he really wouldn’t know how to explain.

It’s been too long since he stood at the goal, plus he underestimated the intensity of an exhibition match.

Today Cambiasso is indeed being very serious.

His state is comparable to playing a UEFA Champions League-level match.

”Be careful, or tomorrow you’ll become the greatest joke in the world.”

Maldini advised.

”Impossible.”

Huang Kaiwen remarked with a smile, ”They’ll only say I’m throwing the game, you’d be the joke.”

”So are you messing up my last match on purpose?”

Maldini feigned anger and asked.

”How could I!”

Huang Kaiwen rubbed his face hard with his gloves and said, ”I’m going to get serious!”

[Bravo]’s skills are still decent.

With the talent of the Yellow Ball King, he can actually perform quite well.

Even if he can’t match top-notch goalkeepers, he won’t be too bad.

The main issue is that the intensity of the match is absurd.

Some people are very serious, while others play casually.

This can easily cause Huang Kaiwen to slack off.

Although the Rossoneri won’t think he lacks skill.

Huang Kaiwen still takes it seriously.

”Huang Kaiwen, as I just said, Huang Kaiwen’s problem today is mainly mindset.”

”Yes, Huang Kaiwen made such elementary mistakes, it’s clearly a deformation in his technical movements. It mainly stems from training and mindset issues. To be a goalkeeper, you need to undergo long-term training with a goalkeeper coach.”

”Speaking of which, Huang Kaiwen isn’t particularly tall or short among goalkeepers. He’s about the same height as Kahn, but quite a bit shorter than Van der Sar, Buffon, and those goalkeepers.”

”Huang Kaiwen’s reaction speed is very quick. I feel his goalkeeping style is closer to Casillas.”

”That’s how goalkeepers are; the shorter they are, the more agile they become. Mexico’s former national goalkeeper Oscar Pérez was only 1.72 meters tall, but he was great at saving penalty kicks, performing well in big matches too.”

[Joe Hart], right?

”Huang Kaiwen’s performance today isn’t even as good as Hart’s.”

”Don’t be too optimistic; I always feel Huang Kaiwen is just acting.”

”I feel the same way; he likes to show off when falling behind.”

”Didn’t he just assist Inzaghi directly? Today, his two mistakes, one assist to Inzaghi, all three goals were related to him.”

”That butterfinger incident made me laugh.”

”Not funny at all; as a Manchester United fan, seeing that butterfinger, I instantly recall the names of several goalkeepers before Van der Sar.”

”Since Schmeichel retired, Manchester United’s goalkeeper position has indeed been a mess. I’ve always suspected Barthez was deliberately acting against Manchester United.”

”I think so too; Barthez was a completely different person in the National Team versus Manchester United.”

”Just wait, Huang Kaiwen is going to show off again.”

Rui Costa and Inzaghi resumed play at midfield.

Inzaghi took the ball and dashed towards the opponent’s half.

Lately, his physical condition has been declining, yet he’s still tougher than those old guys who have retired.

Inzaghi wanted to steal the show today, especially facing Vieri and Buffon, those two jerks.

Unfortunately, he somewhat overestimated himself, as he had only rushed a few meters before Sannetti charged forward to defend.

Inzaghi barely faked out his opponent with the first touch using his right foot, and then while trying to keep pushing forward, Sannetti extended a foot and quickly poked the ball away.

Sannetti rushed up and sent the ball back with a pass.

Di Biagio immediately sent a straight pass to Ventola on the wing.

Vieri’s team claimed to be playing with four forwards.

In reality, Sannetti and Ventola were more like wing midfielders.

Ventola sprinted forward with the ball; he currently plays for Torino FC.

Today he’s playing as a temporary winger.

After successfully breaking through Lentini, he didn’t pass right away as Maldini came right up.

Ventola dared not hold the ball any longer, hastily sending a horizontal pass to Ronaldo.

”Pass it!”

Vieri reached out for the ball.

Ronaldo chose to shoot himself.

His right-foot shot was very discreet this time, quickly striking the back of the ball after raising his calf.

About seventy percent of his peak level.

The ball rolled swiftly past Costacurta’s right side and raced towards the bottom left corner of the goal, at a very tricky angle.

Huang Kaiwen’s view was blocked, and it was too late by the time he saw the ball.

There wasn’t enough time to dive.

Ronaldo noticed this too, and smiled after shooting.

Scoring against the goal guarded by Huang Kaiwen still made him quite satisfied.

However, the smile on his face froze in the next second.

Though Huang Kaiwen couldn’t make the save, he was quick to respond, lowering his center of gravity, sitting on the grass, and extending his foot to deflect the ball off the bottom line.

The San Siro Stadium erupted in cheers again.

That’s not particularly difficult for a goalkeeper.

But seeing Huang Kaiwen wearing the Milan jersey guarding the goal, still filled them with excitement.

Cambiasso moved towards the corner flag area.

Most opposing players rushed into the penalty area.

Looking at the towering Materazzi, Huang Kaiwen said speechlessly, ”You’re not defending today, are you? All joining the attack?”

”They all want to score against the goal you’re guarding.”

Materazzi laughed mischievously.

”What about you?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

Materazzi continued laughing, but said nothing.

Being good friends is one thing, but scoring while Huang Kaiwen is guarding the goal is not easy.
