Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1567: Chapter 1566: A Brief Interlude

Lin Dong and Li Zhaixing boarded the plane, only to realize they ran into the same two girls Li Zhaixing had given readings to earlier.

They were also headed to Yinghua Country!

”Hey, is this old fart your grandpa? He tried to take advantage of me just now, you’d better keep him in check,” one of the girls said to Lin Dong.

Lin Dong looked at Li Zhaixing, who held his head high, completely indifferent to the situation.

Lin Dong: ”...”

Senior Li, you caused the trouble, now I have to clean up your mess?

He sighed, apologizing to the two girls, ”Sorry about earlier, I apologize on his behalf.”

”As for his identity, he’s not my grandpa, we’re friends.”

”Friends? Despite the huge age gap?” The girl was somewhat curious.

The reason the two of them were so friendly towards Lin Dong was naturally because he was very handsome. Young girls didn’t have much resistance to good-looking guys.

Lin Dong struck up a conversation with them, finding out they were going to study abroad in Yinghua Country.

The names of the two girls were Zhang Xia and Lu Ting.

Both girls came from well-to-do families, with businesses back home.

The tickets they had bought were for first class.

Lin Dong couldn’t help but say, ”You two young ladies are off to study in Yinghua Country, don’t your families need to see you off?”

”We’re adults now; we don’t need our families to accompany us. Plus, Yinghua Country is very safe, there won’t be any issues,” Zhang Xia said with a smile.

Lu Ting also nodded, looking curiously at Lin Dong, ”Handsome guy, what’s your name? Are you going to study in Yinghua Country too?”

Lin Dong replied, ”My name is Lin Dong, and no, I’m not going to study in Yinghua Country. I’m going there to take care of some business.”

”Ah, that’s a pity. I thought you were also going to study there. If that were the case, we could have kept in touch more in a foreign land,” Lu Ting said regretfully.

Zhang Xia said, ”It’s okay. Even if he isn’t studying in Yinghua Country, it’s fate that we met. Right, handsome?”

Lin Dong smiled slightly and nodded.

”In that case, handsome, can we exchange contact information?” Zhang Xia extended her hand towards Lin Dong.

Lu Ting looked eagerly at Lin Dong, clearly also wanting his contact info.

Lin Dong smiled faintly, ”We meet by chance, why should we become acquainted beyond this?”

He tactfully declined.

Hearing this, both girls felt disappointed.

Seeing how handsome Lin Dong was, they had wanted to get to know him better.

After all, neither of them had boyfriends, and getting to date such a handsome guy would be quite nice.

”Why did you choose to study in Yinghua Country?” Lin Dong was curious and asked the two.

Zhang Xia responded, ”After watching animation, we thought the environment in Yinghua Country was very good and clean, filled with healing sceneries. Plus, their people are very polite and well-mannered, so we decided to study there.”

Lu Ting also said, ”Both of us have wanted to study in Yinghua Country since we were little.”

”Are you planning to settle down there in the future?” Lin Dong asked again curiously.

Zhang Xia replied, ”It depends. If we enjoy it, we’ll settle down there. If not, we’ll see.”

Lu Ting’s thoughts were the same.

Lin Dong couldn’t fully agree with their views.

Perhaps as an island country, some places in Yinghua Country really are quite nice and through the portrayal in animation and film, they look very clean and healing.

But one must not form opinions through animation and film, as many countries beautify themselves for external promotion.

As for manners, is it really the case with everyone? Or are their polite exteriors just a facade, and inside they are cunning and shrewd?

To truly understand a country and its people, one must personally visit and interact before forming conclusions!

Otherwise, you might be deceived by the things marketed to you by others!

Of course, Lin Dong didn’t explicitly say these words to them.

There was no need.

Just as Lin Dong mentioned earlier, since it was just an encounter by chance, why bother diving into such deep conversations?

One should keep discussions light with strangers!

After boarding the airplane, they headed over to the First Class Cabin.

Whereas Lin Dong and Li Zhaixing made their way to their own seats.

Ever since boarding the plane, Li Zhaixing had remained silent, exuding the demeanor of a capable person.

This caught the attention of many passengers.

Some even approached him to ask, ”Excuse me, are you a Taoist priest?”

Li Zhaixing appeared quite ’arrogant,’ with his hands clasped behind his back, not uttering a word.

Lin Dong felt a headache coming on, observing that this Senior Li Zhaixing was truly acting like a pretentious prick.

He was either genuinely arrogant or on the path of showing off.

Constantly engaging in acts to appear saintly in front of others!

Lin Dong really wanted to stay far from him, but unfortunately, their seats were next to each other when chosen, and there was nothing he could do. He could only sit awkwardly beside him with a thick skin.

The airplane was about five minutes from taking off!

But at this moment, a commotion arose from the First Class Cabin area.

”Hey, girl, don’t be ignorant of good and evil. We are offering you respect by asking you to give up your seat. Do you know who this old gentleman beside me is? He’s a rich businessman from Yinghua Country, from the top-notch Hattori Clan.”

A sharp female voice spoke up.

Following that voice, Lin Dong then heard Zhang Xia’s response, ”We went to great lengths to secure these First Class seats, why should we give them up for you?”

”We certainly won’t!”

”That’s right, if you wanted to sit in First Class, you should have bought the tickets earlier. If you didn’t secure them, then obediently go sit in the Economy Class,” Lu Ting’s voice also chimed in.

The sharp female voice rang out again, ”You really have no idea, do you? Do you know who you are offending?”

”You’re heading to Yinghua Country, right? If you dare to offend him, once you disembark from the plane, you’ll be sorry.”

Hearing this, the two young girls were startled.

After all, they were quite young, in their twenties, and now they were traveling abroad without any family members accompanying them. Naturally, they were somewhat frightened by this person’s threats.

At that moment, Lin Dong stood up and walked towards that area.

Arriving in First Class, besides seeing Zhang Xia and Lu Ting, he saw two other individuals.

One of them appeared to be in his sixties, with the features of a man from Yinghua Country, and his attire suggested that he must be a wealthy businessman of some standing.

Next to him stood a woman in a red, sexy dress and heavy makeup, clinging to his arm.

She seemed to be in her thirties, clearly a woman from Dragon Country.

After Lin Dong arrived, he asked Zhang Xia and Lu Ting:

”What’s happening?”

Seeing Lin Dong, the two women immediately felt a surge of safety. Zhang Xia quickly explained:

”These two people demanded our seats in First Class as soon as they boarded the plane. We refused, and that woman threatened us, saying she would make us pay when we disembarked.”

Hearing this, Lin Dong looked at the woman and asked in a cold voice:

”Is that so?”
