Chapter 1553: Chapter 1552: Lin Dong’s Children

While at the Qingye Clan, Oda Yukihime, having announced those words, headed for a courtyard belonging to her clan.

Floating Snow Courtyard!

This courtyard was where her daughter, Qingye Piaoxue, lived.

At the moment, beneath a peach tree in this courtyard, there sat a stunning woman in white. Her lower abdomen was slightly swollen, indicating she was likely pregnant.

She sat there knitting a sweater for a child.

Her mother, Oda Yukihime, looked on with a disapproving frown.

With an iron blue face, she said, ”I had such high hopes for you from a young age, wanting you to become the most powerful female Swordsman Grandmaster in Yinghua Country’s history. With your talent, it was completely within reach.”

”Who would have thought that after a trip to Dragon Country, you would come back carrying someone else’s bastard child. And you even lost your Sword heart.”

”Piaoxue, oh Piaoxue, you have truly disappointed me.”

Qingye Piaoxue raised her eyes, which flickered evasively, and she apologized with her head bowed low, ”I’m sorry, Mother.”

”Even though you have not told me who the father of this bastard is, did you really think that with the Qingye Clan’s intelligence network, we wouldn’t find out?” Oda Yukihime’s eyes sparkled with a cold light.

Hearing this, Qingye Piaoxue froze and bowed her head even deeper.

”It’s surely that Dragon Country’s Master Lin. I should never have sent you to Dragon Country for that task! Not only did you fail the task, but you also got yourself pregnant. You’ve certainly brought shame upon our Qingye Clan!” Oda Yukihime grew increasingly angry as she spoke.

Compared to her son, Qingye Death God, she had always favored her daughter Qingye Piaoxue, even though Piaoxue was not her biological child, she cherished her even more than her own.

Because she resembled her, Oda Yukihime, and was also female, plus she was born a Sword Embryo and was an incredibly talented swordsman.

But never had she imagined that her daughter would end up doing something like this.

Qingye Piaoxue kept her head down, unable to speak. She had always been afraid of her mother, the Swordsman Grandmaster, from a very young age.

Seeing her daughter like this, Oda Yukihime said coldly, ”Do you even realize that the father of the bastard in your womb has announced his intention to come to our Yinghua Country and challenge the entire Yinghua Country Martial Arts World?”

”What?” Hearing this, Qingye Piaoxue became alarmed and quickly asked, ”Mother, is this true?”

”Of course, it’s true. He has openly declared this on the Martial Arts Dark Web. This has completely enraged our Yinghua Country Martial Arts World.”

”Now, our Yinghua Country Martial Arts World is united in our hatred, just waiting for his arrival. When the time comes, we will greet him with swords and ensure he never returns!”

”Will Father take action?” Qingye Piaoxue quickly asked, knowing her father Qingye Sanzang’s strength.

If he were to take action, then Lin Dong would be in danger.

Oda Yukihime laughingly said, ”He is not worth your father’s personal attention! Others from our Yinghua Country Martial Arts World can take care of him!”

”After we kill him, I will bring his head back and hang it at the main gate of your Floating Snow Building. Let it be exposed to the wind and sun!”

”You like him, don’t you? I’ll make sure you can look at it every single day! Let the bastard inside you see it every day as well!”

Qingye Piaoxue shuddered. She couldn’t bear to imagine such a scenario.

”As for the bastard in your womb, once you give birth, regardless of it being a boy or a girl, we will raise them to be a Dead Warrior.”

”With your and that Dragon Country’s Master Lin’s blood, the child is sure to be a prodigiously talented martial artist. If we train them to be a Dead Warrior, they will undoubtedly become a deadly weapon for our Qingye Clan!”

Hearing this, Qingye Piaoxue’s body trembled, and then she knelt down with a ’thud.’

”Madam Mother, you can’t do this. Please spare my child...”

”To spare? Not forcing you to abort the child is the greatest mercy I can offer. Either let the child become a death warrior for our Qingye Clan in the future, or you abort the child now. Then you continue to serve the Qingye Clan and revive your passion for Kendo. These are the only two paths open to you!”

After saying this, she left with a swish of her sleeves.

Leaving only Qingye Piaoxue, kneeling in the courtyard full of peach blossoms.

”Lin Dong, you... you must not die. If you died, our child’s fate would be to become a walking corpse as a death warrior, to become a tool for others to kill!” she murmured, her cheeks drenched with tears.

She wanted to contact Lin Dong, but she simply couldn’t do it now. Ever since her mother from the Qingye Clan, Oda Yukihime, found out about her pregnancy, she had been placed under house arrest.

They took away all her means to contact the outside world and confined her in this peach blossom courtyard, not allowing her to leave.

Previously, they kept pressing her to reveal the father of the child inside her, but Qingye Piaoxue had never divulged it. Utilizing their intelligence network, the Qingye Clan finally deduced not long ago that the father was Lin Dong.

Upon learning this news, Oda Yukihime was naturally even more enraged.

Oda Yukihime immediately made preparations, intending to train the child in Qingye Piaoxue’s womb into a death warrior for their Qingye Clan!

At the moment, Lin Dong naturally did not know about this.

In fact, he did not even know about Qingye Piaoxue’s pregnancy.

This time, when he decided to challenge the entire Yinghua Country Martial Arts World, he thought of Qingye Piaoxue. He tried making a call to contact her, but she never responded to him.

”Perhaps she has long forgotten about me.”

Lin Dong chuckled bitterly and then shook his head, no longer dwelling on the matter.

Right then, he also received a call from the Martial Arbitration Union.

It was Elder Chen who was calling.

”Lin, the Head, are you going to challenge the Yinghua Country Martial Arts World in a couple of days?” Elder Chen inquired.

Lin Dong nodded, ”Is this going to cause difficulties for the Martial Arbitration Union? If so, I think it might be best if I do not continue as Head.”

Hearing this, Elder Chen laughingly said, ”Lin, the Head, you’re overthinking it. Your challenge to the Yinghua Country Martial Arts World is an official challenge. They have accepted the challenge as well, which means there is no difficulty for us at the Martial Arbitration Union!”

”And besides, we at the Martial Arbitration Union will definitely support this matter wholeheartedly. Which one of us in the Dragon Country Martial Arts World wouldn’t want to do what you, Lin, the Head, are doing?”

”It’s just that we lack the strength!”

He now held in high regard Lin Dong’s boldness!

Being both level-eight Grandmasters, Lin Dong dared to challenge the entire Yinghua Country Martial Arts World single-handedly, willing to stand against tens of millions.

”Lin, the Head, how about we, the Martial Arbitration Union, announce to the world tomorrow that you will take up the position as the foremost of our six Chiefs? This could also be a good opportunity to issue a formal challenge to the Yinghua Country Martial Alliance in the name of a Martial Arbiter,” suggested Elder Chen.

Lin Dong pondered for a moment and then nodded, saying, ”Okay.”

Issuing a challenge in the name of the Martial Arbitration Union would mean that, even if Lin Dong truly extinguished the Yinghua Country Martial Alliance afterward, it would be in accordance with the rules of the World Martial Arts Community.

Other countries’ Martial Arts Worlds would have no grounds for complaint!
