Chapter 1442: Chapter 1441 Bai Yanni

While Lin Dong was waiting for Bai Yanni, Chen Yi, and Li Sansheng to deliver the herbs, a voice suddenly rang out.

”Hey, it’s actually you. Damn, today I actually run into you here, and you’re dead for sure.”

Hearing this voice, Lin Dong followed the sound to its owner.

Upon seeing him, Lin Dong found the speaker oddly familiar.

Lin Dong gave it a bit of thought and then remembered who he was.

The man was Hou Ping, whom he had met at the Japanese restaurant a couple of days ago while dining with Qiao Bing.

He also had another identity, as the son of Hou Yong.

At the moment, he seemed unaware of what had happened at home. He was still dressed in Yinghua Country attire, accompanying a man from Yinghua Country.

Seeing him, Lin Dong frowned slightly and said, ”So it’s you.”

”Heh, indeed it’s me. You beat me last time, and I’ve not forgotten it,” said Hou Ping coldly to Lin Dong.

”Oh, you want to be beaten again?” Lin Dong said, laughing.

”You’re talking nonsense, I was carelessly taken by surprise by you last time. You bastard, you’re lacking in martial arts morals, without a shred of the Samurai Spirit.”

”Do you dare to engage in a fair fight with me this time? Watch how I use Judo, Karate, and Yinghua Country Swordsmanship to beat you.”

Hearing his words, Lin Dong couldn’t help but snicker.

”What are you laughing at?” Hou Ping asked coldly.

His fascination with Yinghua Country’s culture stemmed from his previous studies there.

He had attended Yinghua Country Medical University and joined many clubs during his university days.

There, he learned Yinghua Country’s Judo, Karate, and Swordsmanship. Even now that he was back in Dragon Country, working as a doctor at the Capital City’s hospital, he still dressed in Yinghua Country’s attire after work.

This time, he had brought a businessman friend he had met in Yinghua Country to Renxin Hall to purchase Chinese medicinal herb seeds.

It seemed he intended to bring these seeds back to Yinghua Country for cultivation, as there was a burgeoning business trend there.

Back in Yinghua Country, a craze for Traditional Chinese Medicine had sprouted, with many people starting to grow and acquire herbs.

Lin Dong casually glanced at the Yinghua Country merchant beside Hou Ping and noted that he was a low-rank martial artist.

”I’m asking you, what are you laughing at? Do you dare to have a fair duel with me?” Hou Ping asked loudly once more.

”I’m laughing at your ignorance.” Lin Dong’s gaze shifted from the Yinghua Country merchant back to Hou Ping and he spoke indifferently.

”Seeking death!” bellowed Hou Ping, not caring whether Lin Dong agreed to a match and charging directly at him.

”Today, you will see the might of my Karate!”

After saying this, he launched a roundhouse kick at Lin Dong!

However, faced with his kick, Lin Dong simply flicked his finger lightly, and then Hou Ping, without even coming into contact with Lin Dong’s body, was sent flying backward with a ’bang.’

He then crashed heavily at the hall’s door, spurting out a mouthful of fresh blood.

Witnessing this scene, the nearby Yinghua Country merchant couldn’t help but exclaim in Yinghua Country’s language:

”He’s actually a martial artist from Dragon Country, Si Guoyi!”

Hou Ping was thrown to the ground by a flick of Lin Dong’s finger, instantly losing his ability to fight. He lay there, feeling as though half of his five internal organs and six hollow organs were shattered.

Only now did he realize the terror that was Lin Dong.

Still unwilling to accept defeat, he shouted, ”You... how dare you injure me, you’ve caused a huge disaster!”

”Do you know who I am?”

Lin Dong rolled his eyes at him, ”I know you, you’re the son of Hou Yong, the Vice President of the Capital City’s hospital, right?”

Hou Ping was taken aback, ”You... you know my identity and still dare to hurt me?”

”Heh... idiot.” Lin Dong sneered, ”Don’t you know, your old man has been arrested.”

”Now, your family has gone bankrupt, and here you are still fawning over the people from Yinghua Country?”

Upon hearing this, Hou Ping’s face drastically changed, then laughed heartily, ”Impossible, what kind of connections does my dad have. How could he possibly be arrested?”

Lin Dong couldn’t be bothered to offer more explanations, instead, he turned his attention to the merchant from Yinghua Country.

At this moment, Hou Ping hastily took out his phone to call his own father.

He wanted to confirm that what Lin Dong said was a lie.

However, when the call went through, it was directly met with a dead tone, indicating the other party’s phone was switched off.

Seeing this, Hou Ping’s face turned even uglier.

He hurriedly called other people.

The call went through to his uncle.

”Uncle, where’s my dad?”

There was silence on the other end for a moment before the reply came: ”Ping’er, your dad has been arrested.”

”And a lot of people associated with your dad in business have been arrested too.”

”I’m planning to flee, and if you don’t want to spend the second half of your life in prison, then you should start planning your escape too. Don’t you like Yinghua Country? You could spend the second half of your life there.”

After saying that, the call was hung up.

”Buzz~~~” Hou Ping’s mind was struck as if by lightning.

He looked at Lin Dong incredulously and muttered, ”My dad has actually been arrested, how did you know?”

Lin Dong threw another rolling eyes at him, ”Because I was the one who sent him in.”

”No... impossible. Who’s my dad, who are you, how could you possibly send him in?” Hou Ping said in disbelief.

At that time, the people who had come to deliver the herbs to Lin Dong gradually arrived.

First was Bai Yanni, the granddaughter of Bai Xumei, a young girl in her twenties. She was wearing tight jeans and a white blouse.

Her figure was incredibly curvaceous, hips wider than her waist, waist as thin as an A4 size paper, the blouse struggling to contain...

That figure could only be described as top-notch.

Her arrival naturally attracted countless people’s gaze.

The owner of Renxin Hall quickly came trotting over and respectfully said, ”Miss Bai Yanni, what brings you to our Renxin Hall?”

The owner, of course, recognized Bai Yanni, the granddaughter of the Master of Medicine Bai Xumei.

Bai Yanni didn’t immediately respond to him but walked straight up to Lin Dong and then, with a smiling face, said, ”You must be Chief Lin, right? Wow, you’re even more handsome than I imagined.”

Lin Dong nodded, and half-jokingly said, ”And you have a better figure than I imagined.”

He had previously heard her voice and thought she was a sweet girl, who would have thought she was such a voluptuous woman.

”Hehe, then you’re still in time to regret it,” Bai Yanni giggled.

”Regret what?” Lin Dong didn’t catch on and asked.

”My grandmother’s proposal. My grandma said she wants you to be her grandson-in-law,” Bai Yanni blinked and said, ”Although I often disagree with my grandma, this time, I’m on her side.”

”Chief Lin, what do you think? Are you interested?”

When she asked Lin Dong if he was interested, she deliberately pushed out her already explosive figure, making it stand out even more.
