Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1439: Chapter 1438: Cat or Dog?

”That voice was naturally coming from Lin Dong’s mouth.”

When Lin Dong arrived just now, he had already activated his Listening ability and naturally heard the conversation between Qiao Bing and the others.

This Hou Yong is too abhorrent, trampling over human lives with his insatiable greed, being unkind despite his wealth—simply a beast in white clothing.

If such a person is not punished, it’s an affront to justice.

The moment Lin Dong appeared, suddenly, everyone felt a flash of white light before their eyes, and then they could see nothing at all.

”Boom boom boom!!!” Lin Dong moved in an instant, turning those several security guards into powder, reduced to nothingness!

Light flashed once more, and only then could everyone see clearly what had happened before their eyes.

”What just happened? Why did my eyes blur?”

”Right, I also felt a blur before my eyes, and I couldn’t see anything. So strange.”

”Eh, where did those security guards go just now?”

”Did they just disappear?”

”...”

When everyone could see clearly again, they found that the security guards who had been wielding electric batons, going to round up Qiao Bing, had just ’disappeared’.

The crowd and that Hou Yong didn’t know where the security guards had ’gone.’ They thought they had run away.

Little did they know, they had already been turned into powder and dissipated into the air.

Lin Dong eliminated those few security guards and turned them into powder because they were going to harm Qiao Bing.

As well as the things they said earlier!

Following this Hou Yong, they must have done many bad things, oppressed many people. People originally came to you to seek medical help.

Not only did you swindle their money, but when they came to seek justice, you even oppressed them and attempted to violate those who were beautiful.

Are these people even human?

They are nothing but beasts!

Turning them into powder was not at all excessive.

At the moment, Lin Dong stood in front of Qiao Bing, asking, ”Sister Bing, are you alright?”

Qiao Bing shook her head; her combat ability was not low either. Even if Lin Dong had not arrived in time just now, with her current strength, she could have dealt with those security guards.

She shook her head and said, ”I’m fine, but my mother has trouble.”

Lin Dong looked toward Chu Yunxiu and saw that her face was covered with pustules, many of which were festering, nearly causing facial disfigurement.

He asked for details about what had happened.

After listening, he realized that this matter was indeed not Chu Yunxiu, Qiao Bing’s mother, playing some trick.

She was also a victim this time.

After seeing Lin Dong, Chu Yunxiu felt much emboldened. She knew that Lin Dong could fight well and that he was the Southern Faction’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Chief of Dragon Country.

Although she felt Lin Dong wasn’t quite as compared to her other prospective son-in-law Lin Tiance, she had to admit that Lin Dong’s words carried weight in the Medical Field.

At that moment, she said to that Hou Yong, ”You evil beast, my daughter’s boyfriend is here, you better prepare to face death.”

Hou Yong looked at Lin Dong and seeing him as just a young man, curled his lip and said, ”It’s useless no matter who comes today.”

”Dare to make trouble on my turf, prepare to all go to prison.”

”You... you...” Chu Yunxiu pointed at him, her face turning purple with anger as she said, ”Is this what you call making trouble?”

”It was you unethical doctors who ruined my face, and when I came to you for justice, how did it become me causing trouble here?”

Hou Yong shamelessly said, ”I don’t even know you, you’re clearly causing trouble with your illegal medical harassment, which could land you in prison for three years!”

”How is seeking justice from you become illegal medical harassment?” Chu Yunxiu was so angry she felt like coughing up blood.

She was also someone who wasn’t reasonable, but today she met someone even more unreasonable than herself.

Hou Yong shrugged and said, ”You claim you aren’t causing illegal medical harassment and that your face was ruined under my treatment, then why don’t you present the evidence?”

Where could Chu Yunxiu get evidence to prove all this? Last time, she came alone and had no witnesses.

”If you can’t produce witness or physical evidence, it means you are guilty of illegal medical harassment, and prison is where you’ll end up,” Hou Yong said coldly.

”Fart, you shameless person. It was you who ruined my face, and now you’re slandering me with illegal medical harassment. How can you be so disgusting?”

”Ptui! The one who should be in prison is clearly you,” Chu Yunxiu retorted, spitting saliva in his direction and cursing him.

”Making a scene like a shrew is useless. In the Capital City, with my status and connections in the medical field, I say you’re causing illegal medical harassment, and that means you are!” Hou Yong shrugged and said.

That was also the reason why he was fearless; he had connections, so what was there to be afraid of?

Lin Dong laughed coldly, ”Having connections, backers, money, and influence, does that mean you can do whatever you want?”

Hou Yong spread his hands and said, ”Young man, you’re just too naive. That’s how society works. With money, influence, connections, and backers, you really can do whatever you want.”

”Oh? Is that so? What if I have more money, influence, and connections than you?” Lin Dong said indifferently.

Hou Yong was taken aback for a moment, then scornfully said, ”You?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”Yes, me.”

”Hahaha, young man, even pretending requires strength. I’ll give you half an hour to call all your so-called connections here. I believe, all those connections of yours are nothing.”

”You can call them all here, but as soon as they hear my name, they’ll all have to kneel and beg for mercy!”

Lin Dong sneered, then without wasting any more words, he casually pulled out a few business cards from the pile he had in his pocket and immediately made some calls.

These were all business cards he had received at the Medical Masters Exchange Meeting, all from big shots in the Capital City’s medical field.

The first business card’s owner was the Director of the Capital City’s Medical Department. Lin Dong called him, and the other party was flattered, hurriedly asking,

”Chief Lin, what can I do for you?”

Lin Dong laughingly said, ”Director Fang, can you come over to Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital?”

The Director of the Capital City’s Medical Department didn’t even ask why, immediately responding, ”Okay, wait ten minutes, I’ll be right there.”

What a joke, this was Chief Lin asking him to come; how could he miss an opportunity to connect with Chief Lin? It didn’t matter that it was some Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital; even if he were asked to go to the sky, he would rush over in a hot air balloon.

After calling him, Lin Dong made a few more calls to people on the other business cards.

One was to the President of the Western Medicine Association.

Another was to the President of Dragon Country Medical Association.

There was also Liu Bo, the Director of the Capital’s Hospital.

He didn’t make too many calls, reasoning that three or four should be enough.

Any more would be unnecessary.

After Lin Dong had finished making calls, Hou Yong disdainfully said, ”Putting on an act, who are you calling, any random cat or dog?”

”I hope that after they arrive, you still dare to call them cats and dogs to their faces,” Lin Dong said lightly.

”Hahaha, young man, you really know how to pretend. But just acting like a pretentious prick is useless. Today, let me show you what real connections are.”

”Connections are neither blown out of thin air nor casually gained over a wine table. It’s something built over many years based on one’s own cultural foundation and strength.”

”That is what real connections are!”

At this point, he also started making a call.
