Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1438: Chapter 1437: The Beast in White Cloth!

Lin Dong heard urgency in Qiao Bing’s tone and quickly asked,

”Sister Bing, where are you? At the hospital? What happened? I’ll come right over.”

Qiao Bing shook her head, ”I’m not at our hospital. I’m at ’Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital’. And it’s not me who’s in trouble, it’s my mom.”

Lin Dong had been startled at first, thinking something had happened to Qiao Bing.

Now, hearing that her mother Chu Yunxiu had an accident, he instantly breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he asked, ”What trouble has your mom stirred up this time?”

Qiao Bing said, ”This time it’s not her fault. You better come quickly. Otherwise, my mom is going to be in big trouble.”

Lin Dong nodded, ”Okay.”

Although it was not Qiao Bing who was in trouble, but her mother Chu Yunxiu,

hearing Qiao Bing’s tone, Lin Dong felt he still needed to go and see what exactly had happened.

After hanging up the phone, he took his leave from the masters of medicine.

”Elder colleagues, something has come up on my side, I need to leave first.”

The Medical Exchange Meeting had already ended, and everyone had exchanged contact information. Hearing that Lin Dong seemed to have an urgent matter, they all nodded.

”Okay, Chief Lin, you go take care of your business.”

”Chief Lin, that Heavenly Material and Earthly Treasures, once I get back, I’ll have my granddaughter send them to you.”

”The Semi Medicine King plant I’ve promised is the same.”

”Chief Lin, travel safe, let’s meet again next time.”

”Chief Lin, we’ve added you to the Dragon Country Medical Exchange group, remember to accept the invite later. And next time Chief Lin, if you’re really going to host a lecture at the Capital City’s hospital, remember to notify in the group. I’ll be sure to attend your class.”

”...”

Lin Dong nodded at everyone, ”Sure.”

After bidding farewell at the mansion, Lin Dong hit the street and quickly hailed a taxi.

”To ’Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital’.” Lin Dong gave the address provided by Qiao Bing to the driver.

The driver drove Lin Dong toward ’Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital’.

At the moment, at ’Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital’, Qiao Bing and Chu Yunxiu were at the entrance.

One could see Chu Yunxiu’s face was covered in scars, filled with various pustules, nearly disfigured.

She was shouting, ”Get your President Hou Yong out here. What kind of treatment is this? I came to your hospital for cosmetic surgery, not to have my face ruined.”

She had passed by the private plastic surgery clinic a couple of days ago and someone handed her a flyer, saying there were free items to collect inside.

So she followed them inside and was continuously misled.

They told her her face was full of mites and that it was essential to have maintenance done. Chu Yunxiu was coaxed into getting maintenance, then those people said her facial skin was dying and she needed plastic surgery, otherwise, she’d develop wrinkles like a 70 to 80-year-old within half a month.

So she was misled into getting plastic surgery. On top of that, those people prescribed her a lot of medication.

The whole thing cost her over eighty thousand!

Money was a small matter; her two daughters both earned well, so she wasn’t short of eighty thousand.

But the issue was, after returning home, her face broke out in pustules due to the bad medication, to the point of near disfigurement.

She couldn’t stand for this, so she immediately called her daughter Qiao Bing to join her and seek justice.

Who would have expected that upon arriving at ’Tian Yong Private Plastic Surgery Hospital’, they would outright deny knowing them,

telling them to get lost or they wouldn’t be polite.

Chu Yunxiu couldn’t swallow this insult. She began yelling to the people around her, ”Everybody, come and see, this unscrupulous hospital.”

”They lured me in for plastic surgery, swindled over eighty thousand from me. And look what they’ve done to my face...”

Her shouts drew a crowd of onlookers.

Seeing this, several security guards came over, ready to get physical.

”Damn, move away, looking for a beating, huh?” One of the security guards directly took an electric baton and lashed out at Chu Yunxiu’s body.

”Ouch!” Chu Yunxiu felt the sting of the electric baton and tears came to her eyes.

She sat down hard on the ground and bawled, ”There’s no justice, they took my money, disfigured my face, and now they’re hitting me with electric batons!”

”Everyone come and see the injustice...”

At that moment, a man in his fifties with a bulging belly and balding head came out.

Seeing him, Qiao Bing’s expression changed slightly because she recognized him.

He was the Vice President of the Capital City’s hospital, holding the title of an expert in plastic and cosmetic surgery and drawing an annual salary of hundreds of thousands.

Unexpectedly, he was also running a private plastic and cosmetic surgery clinic on the side.

Qiao Bing had heard before that directors and specialists from big public hospitals were setting up private practices, private hospitals.

But this was the first time she’d encountered it.

She despised such people.

It was like people are never content, not satisfied with earning so much in public hospitals, they had to run private clinics to rake in more money.

Such doctors could seriously be said to lack medical ethics, having their eyes only on money!

Before the crackdown on the training industry, many school teachers did the same. Serving as teachers in schools, they also ran private tuition classes. They didn’t teach well in school, hoping to get you to sign up for their private classes.

And that was just about teachers whose worst outcome was merely leading the youth astray. Now, with doctors doing this, the worst outcome could cost lives!

Doctors without medical ethics were even more abhorrent than teachers without ethics!

”Vice President Hou, it really is you. Do you even deserve to be the Vice President of the Capital City’s hospital? Do you even deserve to be called an expert?”

”I think your time as the Vice President of the Capital City’s hospital is over.”

Qiao Bing was determined to take this man down, not allowing him to continue in his role, to continue harming others.

However, when Hou Yong heard Qiao Bing, he sneered, ”Oh, it’s you, Qiao Bing.”

”You’re just a visiting doctor from the Capital City’s hospital; you’re quite bold, aren’t you? Thinking of taking me down? Ha, who do you think you are?”

”I think you don’t need to continue your advancement studies either. Once you go back, I’ll apply to have you kicked out.”

He knew Qiao Bing because his son had pursued her.

Moreover, Qiao Bing actually had some fame in the Capital City’s hospital. Although she was just a visiting doctor, her medical skill was very high. She also practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine and often used some TCM methods taught to her by Lin Dong to cure patients without tests and prescribing less medicine.

As such, she had a good reputation among patients.

Many people in the hospital knew of Qiao Bing’s name.

Hou Yong said this and was about to leave, but Qiao Bing stopped him.

”Don’t even think about leaving; you must resolve today’s issue.”

Seeing this, Hou Yong frowned, ”Damn it, looking for death?”

With that, he swung his palm towards Qiao Bing.

Qiao Bing might be a woman, but she had practiced the Nine Tripod Cauldrons technique taught by Lin Dong, and her physical fitness and strength were enough to take on three or four grown men with ease.

Not to mention a fat, fifty-something-year-old man with a big belly.

Qiao Bing dodged swiftly, then kicked him in the back, sending him face-first to the ground like a dog eating dirt.

Hou Yong was furious, having not expected to be no match for Qiao Bing.

He lay on the ground in a rage and said to the security guards, ”You guys get her, all of you, attack together.”

”Grab her! That bitch, daring to lay hands on me, I’ll let her know how tough I, Hou, am today!”

The security guards were all in cahoots with him, and at his command, they all charged at Qiao Bing.

”Heh heh, beauty, even daring to provoke our President Hou. Do you know what happened to the last beautiful woman who provoked President Hou?”

”In the end, she was ridden by all of us!”

With that, the security guards, without further ado and wielding electric batons, rushed at Qiao Bing.

But just at that moment, a voice rang out.

”You scum, you really are asking for death!”
