Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Wear it if you like

Zhou Kang’s demeanor was influenced by having seen Lin Dong in the Supreme Box of the auction just a short while before.

Back then, Lin Dong was sitting in the main seat at the table!

It was a position even Mayor Fang and President Shen Yun regarded with reverence.

Although Zhou Kang had no idea of his specific identity, he knew that such a person was not someone he could afford to provoke.

His first reaction was to apologize!

Lin Dong snorted disdainfully and said, ”Just now, your nephew was saying that he wanted to make me kneel.”

Zhou Kang turned his head and, with another slap, struck his nephew Zhou Ze’s face. He shouted furiously, ”Is Mr. Lin someone you can afford to offend?”

”Kneel down when you speak!”

Having been hit by Zhou Kang, Zhou Ze didn’t dare to utter a word. He quickly knelt on the ground, overcome by fear.

At that moment, he was stripped of his prior arrogance and insolence!

”Have you become mute?” Zhou Kang roared at him again. ”Apologize at once.”

Although Zhou Ze didn’t know the exact identity of Lin Dong, with even his uncle so clearly fearful, he dared not show any arrogance.

He promptly knelt and apologized in accordance with his uncle Zhou Kang’s wishes:

”Mr. Lin, I’m sorry. I was blind-sighted and failed to recognize the Real Dragon!”

Zhou Kang also chimed in, saying, ”Mr. Lin, this scourge has actually offended you. You tell me, how do you wish to handle this?”

”I will certainly carry out your wishes, sir, and severely punish him!”

Lin Dong hmphed and slowly said, ”President Zhou, I’m a reasonable man.”

”I don’t stir up trouble if left alone, nor do I seek out conflict.”

”However, if someone provokes me, I will certainly return the favor!”

”Your nephew here, lusting after a woman, took advantage of his position and demanded that my fiancée, Qiao Xue, wear this maid outfit and spend the night with him. When she was unwilling, he forced her to drink!”

”Given such vile actions, I ask you, does he still deserve his position?”

Zhou Kang immediately replied, ”Mr. Lin, he will never hold that position again!”

With those words, it signified Zhou Ze’s dismissal from the bank.

Zhou Ze’s body trembled. Though resentful at heart, he dared not make a sound at the moment.

Lin Dong snorted and shook his head, ”That’s not enough!”

After saying this, he looked icily at Zhou Ze and continued sternly, ”Zhou Ze, you like the maid outfit, do you?”

”Alright then, you wear it and take a few laps around the bank! Only then, is this matter considered closed!”

Upon hearing these words, Zhou Ze’s face drastically changed.

For a wealthy young master like him, being dismissed from the bank meant little; he could simply find another job, or even live comfortably for the rest of his life on his family’s assets.

Hence, losing his job meant little to Zhou Ze.

But now, Lin Dong was telling him to wear the maid outfit and circle the bank.

If he really did that, Zhou Ze would truly lose all dignity.

It would spread, and he would have no place in Jianghai anymore.

He would inevitably become the butt of the joke among all his known circles!

His complexion pale, Zhou Ze stammered, ”Mr. Lin, could you please consider a different punishment, this one... it is too humiliating.”

”Just now, Qiao Xue asked you the same. She said she couldn’t drink anymore, but you, what did you do? You forced it on her!”

”I’ve made it clear, if you’re unwilling. Then this isn’t over!”

Zhou Ze was about to say something when Zhou Kang slapped him again:

”Scourge, do whatever Mr. Lin tells you to do!”

”If you don’t, are you trying to doom our Zhou Family?”

Hummm～～

Zhou Ze’s mind trembled. He wasn’t foolish and naturally understood his uncle Zhou Kang’s implication.

It meant that the ’Mr. Lin’ before them was not someone their Zhou family could afford to provoke.

If they didn’t do as he said, the whole Zhou family could be imperiled.

”Who exactly is he? Why is my uncle so afraid of him?” With a shock in his heart, Zhou Ze had no choice but to steel himself and said hastily, ”Yes, yes, Mr. Lin, I’ll do as you say!”

”Immediately!” Lin Dong uttered only two words.

Zhou Ze, with a pained expression, could only brazenly don the maid outfit.

Then he stepped out of the hotel and headed for the adjacent Jianghai Bank, beginning to run circles around it.

”Oh My God, what’s the situation here? This man is actually running around in a maid outfit outside the bank!”

”Sky above, it’s Zhou Ze. The manager of Jianghai Bank, and he’s also Bank President Zhou Kang’s nephew!”

”What is he doing? Has he gone crazy?”

”Quick, quick, take videos.”

”...”

Soon, videos of him at the door of the bank in a maid outfit were taken and shared by everyone on Moments and short video accounts.

Before long, the entire circle knew of the matter.

As for Lin Dong, he was still holding Qiao Xue.

She was still unconscious.

”Mr. Lin, I’m truly sorry. Earlier, you mentioned that Qiao Xue is your fiancée. In fact, she had brought up a loan request before, but I didn’t take the twenty million seriously at the time.”

”I wasn’t aware that she was your fiancée; otherwise, I would have personally handled the matter.”

”Rest assured, sir, as for the loan your fiancée needs, I will personally approve it as soon as I return.”

Lin Dong nodded, not saying much.

Instead, he took Qiao Xue with him and left the place.

Upon exiting the door, he hailed a taxi intending to take the unconscious Qiao Xue back to the Qiao’s Villa...
