Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

“Kill! The Sun Rock Academy is ahead! You know what I’m going to say!”

“Trample the academy gates! Burn down the World Tree!”

Accompanied by earth-shattering sounds echoing in the sky above the Sun Rock Elf Academy, the students within the academy had already fled.

Not every Transcendent academy was like the Witch Academy, using a Curtain Wall to isolate an independent space; the Sun Rock Elf Transcendent Academy was an academy built beneath a World Tree.

When everything drew closer, the full appearance of the Sun Rock World Tree was finally presented before us.

A massive and rough main trunk, along with its root system, towered above the ground.

Too many academy buildings were built against the tree, but the Sun Rock World Tree was entirely different from the vibrant World Trees in my cognition.

It did not have many leaves; looking across it, there were actually mostly branches.

The whole thing presented a dark red color like rock.

Countless branches guarded a halo resembling a sun atop the main trunk, where countless elven runes manifested and flowed, eventually merging back into it.

When we trampled through the last line of defense of the academy, what greeted us was not a fierce counterattack, but the most powerless defeat of a small Transcendent academy.

Not a single one of the Sun Rock Elf students educated by the academy eventually used their life to guard their Mother Tree.

The ones who blocked us were not the academy.

But... the Sun Rock Transcendent Elf mentors.

Their numbers were few.

The leader was the Academy Head of the Sun Rock Academy, an exquisitely beautiful female elf with deep brown skin.

Standing behind her were the only remaining Transcendent mentors of a small Transcendent academy, totaling... 37 people.

A number fewer than fifty supported the operation of a small Transcendent academy.

It could be said that within an elven academy, those students holding the status of the Guard of the Mother God nominally served as teaching assistants, but in reality, the duties they performed were no different from those of a mentor.

This was an unavoidable situation.

Before the Main World had the World Repair Technique, there was a limit to the capacity for the number of Transcendents.

For an ignored small Transcendent academy to be allocated a few dozen Transcendent spots was already a massive handout from the top-tier academies.

After all... it wasn’t as if they couldn’t teach, right?

At this moment, the Transcendents of the Sun Rock Elf Academy gathered together under these circumstances.

Before the Declaration of War was released, no one had thought that the person who would force their entire academy to this point was merely a Lesser Witch!

“Stop! In this Academy War, we, the Sun Rock Elves... are defeated.”

The leading Academy Head looked at the people before her with a complex expression, her gaze finally landing on the leading Lesser Witch.

After speaking the conclusion of being “defeated,” it was as if the entire elf had aged several hundred years.

Transcendents also grow old.

Perhaps it is not easily detectable on their features, but the aging of one’s mindset will inadvertently affect one’s appearance.

Facing the opponent’s posture, I did not give them any face at all.

The Book in the Casket pointed right at the opponent’s nose as I began to scold:

“You say you’re defeated and that’s that! What right do you have to influence my decision! War is not something that can be ended by you simply saying you are defeated and offering land and compensation!”

“Sisters! Do you think we trampled through their academy just to hear them personally say ‘we are defeated’ to us!”

“No!”

“We want to see blood flow like a river!”

“Trample the academy gates! Burn down the World Tree!”

The people behind me all responded intensely to my question, and also responded to the arrogance of these Transcendent elves.

They were venting the ball of rage suppressed in their hearts, and they also craved the glory right before their eyes!

Everything made it impossible for them to speak a single word of retreat at this moment.

Some were lightly injured with torn clothes, others didn’t have time to tidy their messy and damaged garments.

Even after crushing the enemy all the way with a favorable wind, there were many students with heavy injuries.

The pre-arranged magic killing formations and the alchemical items with massive lethality—which of them hadn’t caused fatal damage to them?

The reason they could still stand here was because of their powerful Undying Nature, and the large reserves of recovery potions, mental power repair potions, berserk potions, and so on in everyone’s storage equipment.

As our voices spread, the expressions of these Transcendent elves were exceptionally ugly.

These people were all Reserve Witches.

But... they didn’t dare to take action.

Once they did, the Transcendent Witches would torture them to death at the first moment!

At the very beginning, everyone thought this was just a game of playing house for the Witch Academy, but with the fall of the Sun Rock Academy, the Witch Academy was releasing a message.

They were playing for real!

With the Qunluosen Wasteland as the fuse, they established that student conflicts could only be student conflicts.

Once Transcendents stepped onto the field, Witches would absolutely suppress them with thunderous methods!

Don’t the Three Great Top-tier Academies hold the lifeline of the Main World?

Well then, the Witch Academy won’t have direct contact with you; the Witches will fight your affiliated academies.

If you have the ability, use threats as basic attacks; the more you use them, the larger the opening.

The deterrence of your methods will also become smaller.

The method of boiling a frog in warm water is the most grueling.

Top-tier academies won’t perish along with the Witches just for the sake of the life and death of an affiliated academy.

So if a Sun Rock Elf Academy dies today, and another obscure Transcendent academy dies tomorrow, I ask when will you truly dare to fall out with the Witch Academy?

Therefore, the destruction of the Sun Rock Elves was only the beginning of the disaster for small Transcendent academies.

Their most dignified way of leaving was for two small Transcendent forces to go to war and eventually “perish together.”

“You... you! Aren’t you afraid we will take action against you! The level of Transcendent is not a threshold that extraordinary can cross! For me to kill you is as easy as turning over a hand!”

“If you dare to kill, what happened at the Qunluosen Wasteland will be your end! Or is your face worth more than those stinky faces of the Wizards?”

My aura was not inferior to this Academy Head at all.

After all, normally going to Academy Head Mei’s office was like going home.

So what kind of thing was a mere Sun Rock Academy Head?

“Back then with the Wizard Academy, our Witch Academy respected them as a top-tier academy, so we paid money. But you... my defeated elf Academy Head you can only pay with your lives!”

As my words finished, these elves were already turned red with rage by me, but even so, not a single one moved against me.

It was clear how much they were apprehensive of us.

“Do you really intend to act so resolutely? The Sun Rock Mother Tree is the faith of the Sun Rock Elves. If you truly insist on burning down the World Tree just for a hollow name, then we will also stake our lives to leave you all here!”

“To correct you, this is merely a branch plant of your Sun Rock World Tree!”

I didn’t care about their threats at all.

“Then I must also remind you... there is not a single Transcendent Witch following behind you. We are not joking with a group of children!”

As the elf Academy Head finished her words, there was a bit of commotion in the crowd behind me.

Although this was a tacitly accepted fact, having it pointed out meant they had already stepped on the opponent’s bottom line.

Once the opponent went mad and killed them in the first instance—killed them until even a Resurrection Spell could not bring them back—then they would be completely finished!

Fear of death is an instinct for any life; I wouldn’t blame them for this.

After all, they were never soldiers who followed orders, nor were they highly disciplined troops.

They were just a group of students living in the Witch Academy who had joined a club.

They still had their best years ahead of them.

Having not received education in beliefs like sacrifice and glory, being able to release spells on the battlefield without accidentally injuring teammates was already considered completing their task.

However... I also did not allow them to interfere with my decisions.

These Transcendent elves were right.

This time, no Transcendent Witch had followed along.

After all, if a Transcendent Witch came here, the nature of the situation would change.

And the reason the academy was so at ease was naturally because a considerable number of Witches knew that the only important ”Lesser Witch” in this so-called Special Task Force Zero was a clone.

As for the other students... none of them were important.

Even if this group included the original Child of Destiny Tan Han, a large number of volunteers from the Self-generating Magic Power promotion experiment, and a large number of high-grade students.

Transcendent Witches, as a whole, did not care.

The reason was simple: because they were not Transcendent Witches.

The attitude of Transcendent Witches toward reserve students had never changed.

At most, they would only take better care of active students during the Academy War period.

“Big Sis Xiao Han! Let me do it! I’ll go burn the World Tree! If I’m killed by these Transcendent elves, you must have the Academy Head place the heads of these thirty-odd Transcendent elves before my grave as a memento!”

Just when these Transcendent elves thought we would retreat because of this, a voice from the crowd immediately made the expressions of these elves turn ugly once more.

“Good! What is your name? Know that if a Transcendent kills you, not even a Resurrection Spell can bring you back! Do you regret saying that!”

I turned sideways to look at that person in the crowd.

That there was such a person unafraid of death among this group truly surprised me.

In just an instant, I knew the opponent’s name, information, and many other things.

But the name... it was more meaningful for her to say it personally.

“My name is Lin Xian! I’m not afraid of death! By asking you to sacrifice their heads to me, Big Sis Xiao Han, I’ve already prepared for complete death!”

Everyone looked at this girl calling herself Lin Xian with shocked gazes.

Their gazes held incomprehension, doubt, and disbelief; of course, there were also admiration, envy, and sighs...

“Hahaha... Good! How about it? Elves! Do you still want to guard your broken tree and put up a final struggle?”

At this moment, I turned the spearhead toward them again.

“Just a branch plant. Your faith will not collapse just because a branch plant burns out. If you stay here, you will only be exploited by those hypocritical Forest Elves of Aphrodite. Why not let me give you a dignified end, and burn down the root of your enslavement with one fire... the Main World is not a place where your Sun Rock Elves can set foot. Don’t blame our Witch Academy for not giving you a chance in advance!”

My words stung their nerves word by word.

In the beginning, they carried the hope of the Sun Rock Elves, along with a branch plant of the World Tree, only to follow in Aphrodite’s footsteps and come here.

But after arriving here, they saw no hope.

Just as this Lesser Witch said, as far as they could see, there was only endless exploitation, and then becoming chips in the game between Transcendent races.

As Transcendents, they couldn’t even become chips for a Transcendent; the one talking to them was only a Lesser Witch.

How ironic...

One could hear many things between the lines of the opponent’s words.

The opponent was already no longer just a student or a teaching assistant.

Yes... the opponent was a genius awarded the title of Honorary Lesser Witch!

A genius who mastered the ability to kill Transcendents during the extraordinary stage.

Even as the Sun Rock Academy Head, she didn’t dare to come into contact with the Void Cracks wandering over the opponent’s body.

They had already walked onto a dead end.

The reason they were still holding on was only because no Transcendent Witch stood behind these students.

Even so, they didn’t dare to take action; everything was already lost.

But the pride of being elves would not allow them to watch their faith be burned by a group of students who weren’t even Transcendents.

Similarly, precisely because of the pride of elves.

That paragraph just now, the words enslaved and exploited, caused damage more profound than anyone had expected.

They had no path of return.

Leaving the Main World was what this Lesser Witch said, but it also represented the will of the Transcendent Witches!

But how were they to leave?

How could Aphrodite Academy allow them to leave?

They seemingly had many choices, but in the end, they had no choice.

“Everyone... we have been in the Main World for over a thousand years, and have established the Sun Rock Academy no less than five times, all of which were destroyed due to Academy Wars. Now the major trend of the Main World is appearing, and the Witch race does not hide its ambition. How can they allow us to remain...”

“Head!”

“Head, why would you say such things?”

The group of Transcendent elves looked at this elf presiding over the overall situation in shock, not understanding why she would say such words.

For the Sun Rock Elf Academy to be able to reach this point, the position of this Academy Head had never changed.

This was naturally not just because she was the strongest, but even more because of her prestige.

“We have no choice... or do you still want to be lectured by a Lesser Witch? Has the spine of the Sun Rock Elves truly become unable to straighten under the oppression of the Aphrodite Forest Elves!”

When she finished speaking, all the Sun Rock Elves understood that this Elf Queen who had led them time and again was not joking.

Their ending would ultimately only be one—Elf Homecoming.

To offer everything of themselves in the posture of Sun Rock Elves back to the World Tree branch plant; their elven will would return to their hometown under the anchoring of the World Tree branch plant.

The Main World was never their homeland, so how could they die in a foreign land?

If they waited for their will to wake again, perhaps it would be them being nurtured by the Sun Rock Elf Mother Tree with a brand-new posture and as a brand-new individual.

This was the most dignified end for an elf; everything in the past would be forgotten.

The truth was that they could not, and must not, return in such a pathetic manner.

Death is the equalizer’s fig leaf for all life.

“Thank you, Lesser Witch Yang Yuehan, for being willing to give us such a dignified opportunity. I apologize for the arrogance of those students earlier.”

“I accept your apology on behalf of the Witch Academy. Since you choose dignity for yourselves, we will naturally give it to you. After you leave, we will send you off in the most blazing manner of the sun.”

I moved my gaze away from the data on the Sun Rock Elves, meeting this elf’s burning gaze as I made my promise.

Their so-called dignity was just as I had expected; the development of things seemed unexpectedly smooth, and my stereotypical impression of the Sun Rock Elves also improved slightly.

It couldn’t be helped; anyone would have a trace of respect when facing a life that calmly goes to its death to never meet again.

In the final analysis, their ending was initially only because they bordered the Witch Academy territory.

It seemed the grievances these small Transcendent academies suffered in the Main World were even more profound than I had expected.

“Big... Big Sis Xiao Han?”

At this moment, someone spoke in a low voice, because they didn’t clearly understand what the current situation was.

Why, after being lectured, did the other side still want to thank Big Sis Xiao Han?

With a snap of my fingers, I shared some information through a forced pop-up to the Seeds of Knowledge of everyone present.

After a few seconds, I continued: “Let us, representing the status of Main World Aboriginals, send off the Sun Rock Elf race!”
