Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

The academy’s control over things like the Resurrection Spell was still quite strict.

Or rather, the requirements for the Resurrection Spell differed between Transcendent and non-transcendent levels of life.

Back then, my Resurrection Spell had been personally given to me by Academy Head Mei, but later... later it seemed she had also dismantled it for me.

Looking at it this way, I truly did seem to enjoy dismantling things.

However, after dismantling it, I gained an understanding of the concept of life during that time; the harvest could not be said to be small.

Therefore, the most basic Resurrection Spell spellbooks were almost never seen within the Witch Academy; even Transcendent Witches did not possess Resurrection Spell spellbooks.

It wasn’t that they couldn’t be obtained, but after advancing to a Transcendent Witch, ordinary Resurrection Spells could not resurrect a Transcendent, or they would fall from the Transcendent rank after resurrection.

It could be described as tasteless to eat but a pity to discard.

Thus, Mentor Elena used the most basic magical ritual combined with casting materials to complete the resurrection ritual, rather than a Resurrection Spell.

But the final result was the same.

Resurrecting three people at once was still somewhat troublesome for the method of using temporary resurrection rituals and casting materials.

However, with me helping to handle some of the materials and the construction of the ritual by her side, it was much faster.

During the resurrection period, Mentor Elena, the students watching the fun, and I gradually came to understand what exactly the situation was.

The person who came to explain these matters was the staff member in charge of this Wan Shi Wu branch; I didn’t recognize her well, so I didn’t chat much.

But upon hearing that these people, including some of the injured who had already gone to the infirmary, were all victims of the Sun Rock Elf Academy, which bordered the Witch Academy’s territory, many people became indignant on the spot!

Sun Rock Elf Academy?

An academy they had never even heard of—how could such an academy kill three people from their Witch Academy?

But after the indignation, some also questioned why people from the Witch Academy were unable to defeat fellows coming from such an academy.

However, after an explanation, everyone understood that the people the other side sent out were members of the Elf Academy’s special Guard of the Mother God, similar to the Witch Academy’s Teaching Assistants.

No wonder one person could defeat so many, but many people also couldn’t figure out how the other side dared to kill people.

“Xiao Han I’m done with the work here. Do you want to come play if I hold a tea party next time?”

“Sure if there’s an opportunity.”

I also nodded and did not refuse.

After Elena finished the “extra overtime” of the resurrection, she also left in a hurry.

And a person I knew had already been waiting at Wan Shi Wu.

Vice President Xing Anlei.

After all, a death had occurred at Wan Shi Wu, and it was also reported that Assistant Xiao Han had coincidentally run into this matter.

Upon hearing this news, Xing Anlei had come over at the first moment.

After all, the trouble that occurred this time concerned the cooperative relationship between their club and this assistant!

They had not expected the Sun Rock Elf Academy on the opposite side to dare to confront them so head-on time and again.

But since an incident had occurred this time, Wan Shi Wu also understood that this matter was not a coincidence; it likely also concerned the affairs of this assistant.

The other party had killed so many people at once, and it was logically impossible for them to lose face; the Sun Rock Elf Academy was backed by at least the shadows of those top-tier academies.

And it was likely Aphrodite Academy.

After all, the Elf academies were basically all dogs following behind Aphrodite Academy.

Regardless of whether this Assistant Xiao Han had witnessed it, they had to proactively inform the other party of this matter.

Their club had the confidence to settle this matter, but they absolutely had to let Assistant Xiao Han know how much effort their club had put in.

After all, it concerned the sincerity of the cooperation.

“Assistant Xiao Han, I didn’t expect us to meet again so soon.”

Xing Anlei received me into the meeting area with a face full of smiles.

And I didn’t have much nonsense.

Pretending to be someone who had only just found out and didn’t know much, I continued to ask for the details of this matter.

“This time, it was our club’s negligence. We didn’t expect that Sun Rock Elf Academy to target our Witch Academy in such a way, and this isn’t the first time it has happened.”

“It isn’t the first time?”

“Yes, we have driven them away several times already. These elves are truly insatiably greedy; they truly haven’t suffered enough. Previously, when you, Assistant Xiao Han, killed so many people by yourself in that place, it still couldn’t suppress their greed; they are still fixated on your Hexagonal Crystal Amber.”

“So, other academies already know about the existence of the Hexagonal Crystal Amber?”

“The spread of this information certainly cannot be stopped. Even if we tried our best to prevent it, for some materials deep within the Sun Rock Elf territory, we can’t stop them from snatching some samples. But we guarantee! We absolutely will not...”

“I don’t need to hear the guarantee; I understand all of this. Some places where the Hexagonal Crystal Amber is distributed indeed exceed the Witch’s borders.”

“Thank you very much for your understanding,” Xing Anlei said hurriedly.

She was truly afraid that the person before her would become angry because of this matter, but judging from the current situation, the other party’s attitude seemed somewhat indifferent.

But then again, the other party didn’t seem to truly want these Hexagonal Crystal Ambers; the lion’s share of the resources finally allocated to Assistant Xiao Han was directly given by her to the team where Assistant Yi Rui was.

This was truly extravagant.

Regulated materials that their club valued highly were given away by the other party just like that.

As expected of an assistant valued by Transcendent Witches and even the Academy Head—the level was truly different.

“However, a special resource like Hexagonal Crystal Amber also has ownership. Although part of it fell onto the territory of other academies, it doesn’t mean it has become theirs. My request isn’t excessive; however much they dared to take, they must be made to spit out that much,” I said to Xing Anlei very directly.

Then I continued: “If those people still dare to intervene in this matter, then you will pursue their responsibility without limit. No matter how much noise you make, I will back you up. Even if I cut down another few hundred people, nothing will happen.”

“This...”

Hearing this promise of mine, Xing Anlei’s previous thought of trying to ask for a favor was instantly swallowed back down.

This was... did the Assistant Xiao Han before her still want to cause trouble?

The other party didn’t care about those Hexagonal Crystal Ambers but was still persistent about this cooperation; she herself wasn’t a fool either.

Without limit...

Cutting down another few hundred people...

Saying such things would truly make many people think the wrong way.

Could the Assistant Xiao Han before her be addicted to killing?

Or perhaps after no one in the Witch Academy dared to move against her, she had set her sights on other academies?

But this was also just a guess of Xing Anlei’s own; moreover, she was just a mere Vice President.

“Is there some difficulty?”

I saw that Xing Anlei was somewhat hesitant, so I inquired.

Regarding my idea of wanting to provoke trouble, I didn’t plan to hide it.

Declaring war wasn’t something I could play around with alone.

The atmosphere within the Witch Academy clearly showed long-standing resentment towards other Transcendent academies as well.

Even though the academy had made constant big moves over these two years, they were basically on very unpleasant terms with other academies.

“Oh, it’s like this,” Xing Anlei immediately reacted and spoke up: “Regarding what you said about pursuing their responsibility without limit, Assistant Xiao Han... this conflict wasn’t as simple as it appeared on the surface. This incident happened suddenly. Even if the members our club sent there to investigate haven’t sent back a conclusion yet, we can see that the so-called Sun Rock Elf Academy has the shadows of other large, or rather, top-tier Transcendent academies behind it.”

“Are you afraid of directly coming into conflict with those top-tier academies?”

I asked directly.

“If they want to keep making a fuss about this matter, it truly won’t be easy to settle. Actually, we still hope to end this matter in a way that both sides can accept.”

“Is that so? Hmm... alright then.”

“Does that mean you also support this approach?”

“This is a matter for your club to decide for yourselves; there’s no need for me to forcefully intervene. After all, it was just a suggestion.”

I said this, and then, as if suddenly thinking of something, spoke up again: “Although this matter happened not long ago, the influence it has caused might be a bit large. If Wan Shi Wu plans to give this matter the cold treatment... perhaps there will be some trouble.”

As I spoke, I used the Great Tree of Knowledge to open the Academy Network and shared the visible vision.

“The incident that happened at the Qunluosen Wasteland seems to have caused some waves on the Academy Network. Some of those involved seem to have filmed and recorded some scenes of the conflict.”

“Oh It’s only been a while and it’s already surged onto the Academy Network’s hot discussions. Clearly, when I was checking on this matter just now, I searched for it, and at that time people had only just posted it.”

As I spoke, I played some short video footage.

The messy, clashing sounds and the shaky images inside recorded the scene of the conflict from a first-person perspective.

“...Do they really think being from the Witch Academy makes them superior? Every single one of them is just a menopausal old woman who can’t drop a kid! Beat...”

This video started right off with an explosive, all-encompassing verbal attack.

Even when Xing Anlei heard it, she frowned while smiling at me.

For students of the Witch Academy, being unable to give birth was absolutely a forbidden taboo they could not mention!

Terms like menopausal or old woman had to take a back seat.

And seeing the spread of this video, Xing Anlei also immediately realized that the influence of this matter might be even more serious than she had estimated!

“This... how could these images leak out?”

“Perhaps those with minor injuries in the infirmary felt wronged and wanted to post them for comfort,” I also said casually.

But it was no longer meaningful to pursue who had posted it.

After all, once such a major incident had occurred, it couldn’t be hidden.

But no one expected that in the details of this matter, it would directly trigger the public anger of the Witch Academy.

Then this matter was no longer just a conflict between the club and the academy.

If Wan Shi Wu’s handling of this matter could not satisfy the students who didn’t mind a big commotion, Wan Shi Wu’s reputation would definitely decline.

“This... Assistant Xiao Han, I didn’t expect this cooperation with you to unintentionally trigger such an aftermath...”

“So haven’t I brought you my promise? No one can predict the development of things, but rather than sighing, it’s better to put your energy into how to solve it. After all, the matter has already happened.”

I smiled and spoke to Xing Anlei.

For a moment, even Xing Anlei didn’t know what I meant this time.

“Assistant Xiao Han truly sees through things clearly. My apologies for so many unexpected things happening all at once.”

Xing Anlei also stood up and spoke with a somewhat apologetic tone:

“However, I might have to excuse myself next. I must inform the club about this matter, along with the meaning you conveyed to me this time, Assistant Xiao Han; I will bring it back together.”

“Yes, then I won’t delay you. Oh... one last thing. If they bring you too much trouble in this matter, then make them compensate you for your losses. Just as that short video showed, small Transcendent academies have no human rights. After all... weakness is the original sin.”

“Thank you for the reminder, Assistant Xiao Han. I will convey your meaning to the club without missing a single word,” Xing Anlei said hurriedly.

Nevertheless, she still personally saw me out of the Wan Shi Wu branch.

After parting with Xing Anlei, I opened the chat interface.

Whether it was Millian or Cleveland, they were the people who knew the most and supported me in doing this.

The reason these videos appeared on the Academy Network and why the heat rose so quickly was naturally due to an invisible hand pushing behind the scenes.

Within the Witch Academy, the Academy Network was the formal academy network, where every account was real-name authenticated, bound to personal student registration and personal information.

However, the Plant Network, which was closely related to the Seed of Knowledge, did not require real-name authentication.

Information regarding the Qunluosen Wasteland first gained heat on the Plant Network and was then moved to the Academy Network.

And this time, I was going to use my long-lost Academy Network account to start causing trouble.

After all, I had also witnessed the death incident of this conflict under the gaze of many people.

Therefore, using this perspective as an entry point, I posted a personal dynamic thread.

And the content I posted was very simple.

“It seems I haven’t killed enough people from some academies to make them fear me.”

And I attached a first-person photo of the three bodies lying in the Wan Shi Wu lobby, with me handling the ritual materials for Mentor Elena’s resurrection ritual.

There was no other content.

I didn’t know if anyone still remembered me after I had vanished from the Academy Network and the academy for so long.

However, the combat results I demonstrated a few days ago had indeed caused me to enter everyone’s sight once more in a bloody manner.

I vaguely remembered that back then Millian seemed to have told me to value my account and pay attention to account operations.

But... it shouldn’t be too late to start now, right?

And after posting this, somewhat to my surprise, many replies quickly followed below.

It seemed that even during the holiday, many students were still following the movements on the Academy Network...

I looked at these replies.

Aside from some comments about grabbing the first spot, being shocked, or a ”corpse rising” from the grave, most were asking exactly what had happened.

However... I did not reply to them, but left the curiosity for them to find out for themselves.

After all, only by finding out for oneself can the impression be considered profound.
