I Sell Mobile Phones Like a Swindler, and Customers Beg Me Not to Go Out of Business

141: Chapter 141 Panda’s Livestream Gets Summoned for TalksWhen Wang Sicong and Xue Haixin found out about this, they were initially very angry, but eventually, upon hearing that the police had no solution either, they could only shake their heads helplessly.

”It’s fine. Actually, it can be considered a good thing. If it weren’t for these people, we wouldn’t have known when this loophole would be discovered. If it had caused even greater losses, that would have been even worse.

You could say it’s better late than never; they basically helped us find the flaws and patch them. By patching these loopholes early, we prevented even larger losses.

Plus, I heard that most of these gifts were given to those female streamers, and those streamers have already been banned, so those gifts haven’t been cashed out, right?

Looking at it this way, Panda Live hasn’t suffered much loss, and we might even have made a profit!

From now on, no matter what, the recharge system on the live streaming platform must be perfected, perfected, and perfected again!

There must absolutely not be any loopholes!

Otherwise, that would be a substantial loss. A simple loophole can cost us piles of cold, hard cash!”

Just when they thought this matter was about over, Bai Jingqing’s real offensive was just about to begin.

Yes, those destitute middle-aged men were actually contacted by people he had sent.

And it was precisely through the efforts of Huayao’s many talented programmers that the loophole in Panda Live’s recharge system was discovered.

Someone at Huayao had discovered this loophole as soon as Panda Live was launched.

However, after several version updates, the loophole still hadn’t been patched. And now, it was finally being exploited by Bai Jingqing.

However, Bai Jingqing was not willing to let himself or anyone from his company get involved in such matters; after all, it would entail legal responsibility and could lead to jail time.

After some deliberation, he eventually set his sights on those destitute middle-aged men in society.

You don’t see many such people in daily life, but if you have the intention to look, you can still find plenty of them.

And as mentioned earlier, for these people, going to jail might not necessarily be a bad thing, so Bai Jingqing had no burden in doing these things.

He sent some people from his company to deliberately approach these individuals, casually taught them the method of using the bug to gift items, and then cut off contact with them.

Once these people learned the method, they went crazy because they truly loved and enjoyed the feeling of being flattered and called ”Big Brother,” especially being fawned over by those female streamers with almost zero bottom line.

In their daily lives, they were too poor to even afford a meal, and they definitely hadn’t been close to a woman in a long time.

With young, beautiful, and vibrant girls calling them ”Big Brother” sweetly, and being stimulated by the screen full of compliments and ”Awesome 666” comments in the live chat, they couldn’t control themselves and were unable to suppress the beastly desires deep in their hearts.

Thus, they made more demands and used the loophole to gift even more items to those female streamers.

From being looked down upon and ignored, to being watched, complimented, and revered by thousands or tens of thousands of people in the live room, the temptation of this transformation was huge for them.

Although they knew that doing this might be illegal, they didn’t care about that.

Wasn’t it also illegal to scam loans from those loan platforms? Didn’t they still do it anyway?

Being able to pursue a moment of excitement could be considered adding a glimmer of fun to their very dull, boring, and destitute lives.

Later, when investigated by the police, they felt it was a matter of course.

However, these people were thick-skinned and didn’t care at all about what the police said or asked. The police basically couldn’t get any useful information out of them.

When Bai Jingqing arranged for his company’s people to leak this loophole to these destitute middle-aged men, he specifically instructed them not to easily reveal their own identity information.

Therefore, even if the police asked these people who taught them this method, they were clueless.

It can be said that from start to finish, Bai Jingqing and his company team were basically just watching from the sidelines, never getting involved.

Panda Live wasn’t full of freeloaders either. After all, money can definitely attract good programmers, and they worked overtime to quickly fix the loophole.

However, Bai Jingqing didn’t feel it was a pity.

Attacking Panda Live by using the platform’s loophole to bug and gift items was, after all, an illegal act. If they openly used this to attack the other party, they would definitely be investigated by the police.

He didn’t want to get dragged into that kind of thing, so being able to use this loophole to disgust Panda Live for a bit was enough for Bai Jingqing.

But this matter was not over yet. What Bai Jingqing was going to do next was the main point.

A few days later, screen recordings of those female streamers being trained by the ”Big Brother” in the live chat quickly spread, prompting many people to ask for resources in the comments section.

At the same time, some people claiming to be parents appeared online, saying that their children wouldn’t sleep at night and were secretly using their phones to watch Panda Live, watching this very content.

This made these parents feel very angry and they began to question Panda Live’s censorship mechanism, one after another tagging Panda Live online.

More parents felt the same way and demanded that the state shut down the live streaming platform, shut down honor of kings, and shut down games.

An auntie gave a passionate performance, even crying about it to Ma Yun.

”Ma Yun, listen to me. Today I’m going to talk about you. This internet is something you created, I beg you to shut down the internet. Kids don’t go to class, adults don’t work, they hold a phone all day long, smiling with their mouths.”

This video was too abstract and also became a hot topic on short video platforms.

Even worse, some parents directly reported it to the Education Bureau, reported it to 12315, or called the mayor’s hotline to report Panda Live.

The matter escalated, quickly causing heated discussions on the internet.

Bai Jingqing fanned the flames from the sidelines, investing some money to buy a few small trending searches, and bought some internet trolls to steer the narrative. Very quickly, Panda Live became even more popular and appeared in the mainstream view.

This incident had a huge impact, and Panda Live was subjected to stricter supervision.

And those troublemaking parents held an attitude of not stopping until the end, crazily wanting to report Panda Live.

In the end, the authorities couldn’t withstand the pressure, and the regulatory department summoned Panda Live’s person in charge, Wang Sicong, for a talk, while simultaneously announcing an administrative penalty of 1 million RMB against Panda Live.

This time, Panda Live once again fell into a public opinion storm.
