Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1143: Nightfire... Playing with Fire!

Aether blinked, then frowned slightly as he processed her words.

Wait... did she just say she likes someone?

Shouldn’t a succubus feel things like lust and desire? Sure. But love? Like? Wasn’t that outside their nature?

He stared at her, puzzled.

Nightfire, on the other hand, watched his shifting expressions with sharp satisfaction. The corners of her lips curled upward in delight as she saw his confusion deepen.

’You’re playing with fire, Nightfire...’ Ashara’s voice echoed quietly in her head.

Nightfire simply shrugged inwardly.

’What? He made me suffer, watching him screw around with random women like I didn’t exist! Ignored me, teased me, never touched me—not even once! He fucking deserved this!’

She kept her composure and said sweetly, with a faint, dismissive smile, ”So there’s no need for you to try seducing me anymore...”

Her hands clapped together gently as she stepped back, slipping out of his reach, and continued,

”Okay, Master. The mistress went out to deal with a situation. Until she returns, if you need anything, you can ask me. I’m her supervisor, maid, or whatever title fits me best... I am the only living servant left in this entire house.”

She bowed her head slightly, offering a thin veil of respect—but her eyes sparkled with hidden glee as she caught a flicker of fury in his expression, paired with a hint of jealousy he thought he was hiding.

’Haha... look at that face. So obvious. So mad.’

Aether glared at her with a completely blank expression before answering coldly,

”I need food. Bring me some.”

Nightfire bowed again with a grace and returned moments later with a hot plate already prepared. She placed it down carefully in front of him.

Aether looked at the dish, then frowned. His hands hovered over the table as he searched around for a spoon or fork, but found nothing.

”...There’s no cutlery?”

Nightfire’s voice sang with a wicked lilt, ”You have to eat with your hands, Master~”

Aether stared at her for a beat, surprised, before giving a single nod and reaching out with his fingers. He picked at the food silently, still wearing his grumpy, unimpressed face.

Nightfire giggled inwardly, biting her tongue to hold it in.

Watching his suffering face while eating like a barbarian?

Perfect.

Now he knew a fraction of how she had felt all this time, being ignored and humiliated.

He glanced up at her and asked flatly, ”When did you start working here?”

”Not too long ago. Recently.”

”And why? Why are you working here, of all places?”

”Well, Mistress gave me a place to stay. A good salary. And honestly, not many bosses come with a royal title and endless chaos. So... why not? Sounds like an adventure.”

”I see... Hmm.”

”Anything else, Master?”

She added innocently, but her eyes glittered with mischief, just waiting to provoke him more.

Aether chewed slowly, his expression unreadable. After a brief pause, he sighed and asked the question that had been lingering in the back of his mind.

”So... this person you like—what’s he like?”

Nightfire blinked once. Her face shifted, lips curling into a soft, dreamy smile as if she was remembering a precious, warm moment.

”Well... what can I say? He’s the gentlest person I’ve ever met. He accepts me for who I am. He whispers sweet things to me every day, every night... And—well—he’s very good in bed. He can satisfy me just the way I like~”

She licked her lips slowly as she spoke the last part with a seductive purr.

Aether’s fingers paused mid-chew. He didn’t flinch, didn’t scowl. Just nodded once and replied calmly,

”...I see.”

That’s all.

No shouting. No jealous outburst. No shocked expression. Just a flat nod.

’That’s it?!’ Nightfire screamed internally. ’That’s all I get?! Just a fucking ”I see”? Does he even love me like he says? Or was he just playing around all this time?!’

Aether finished the meal with quiet efficiency, then stood up and moved to the washbasin. He washed his hands slowly, then dried them off using his shirt.

”Honestly,” he said softly, ”I’m happy you found someone you love. You deserved that much, right?”

He turned around, his expression strangely gentle, yet distant.

Nightfire felt herself freeze for a second.

She hadn’t expected that. Not that tone. Not those words.

She clenched her fists behind her back and growled inside before asking,

”A-Aren’t you mad at me?”

Aether blinked at her with a puzzled look.

”Why would I be? I was the one supposed to seduce you, and I failed. If anything, someone better than me won your heart. That’s not your fault. That’s on me.”

He spoke softly, then leaned back in the chair again, crossing one leg over the other casually.

Nightfire’s eye twitched. Her whole chest was tight. She couldn’t scream, couldn’t yell, couldn’t throw things.

On the outside, she smiled.

”Is that so? I thought you’d be devastated knowing your beloved Nightfire got stolen by another man...”

Aether chuckled at that. A real, deep laugh. That only made her angrier.

She growled, her expression cracking.

”What the hell are you laughing about?! If anything, I should be the one laughing at your pathetic, clueless face!”

He wiped a tear from his eye, still chuckling, before replying,

”Well, it’s just that... I would have been devastated—before I came to this mansion.”

Nightfire frowned. ”Before? What changed?”

Aether leaned forward with a sly smirk spreading across his face.

”I got a better succubus.”

”...H-Huh?”

He grinned wider and whispered, voice dripping with arrogance and heat,

”I just pumped my seed into the Queen of Succubi... Damn, her pussy was divine. I could fuck her all day and still not get tired...”

He licked his lips slowly, savouring the memory, like he had just feasted on the most decadent dish in the world.

”...”

Nightfire blankly stared at him. For a moment, nothing moved—no twitch, no breath—until suddenly...

”YOU ASSHOLE!!”

She screamed like an exploding volcano as she leapt straight onto him, snarling like a wild cat. Without hesitation, she bit down on his head—hard.

Aether winced, but couldn’t help the laughter bubbling inside him.

”You fucking asshole!” she shouted again, this time with more venom.

Chomp!

”How dare you—”

Chomp!

”Go for another succubus?!”

Chomp!

”What about me?!”

Chomp!

”Motherfucker! Was her pussy so tasty you had to shove your dick into that thing?!”

Chomp!

”Motherfucker!”

Chomp!

”Motherfucker!!”

Chomp!

”F-Fucker!!”

Her voice cracked at the end. Her eyes were slightly teary, shimmering with frustration and helpless anger.

She wasn’t even sure what pissed her off more—the smug look on his face or the fact that he actually did it.

Aether giggled inwardly.

Of course, he knew she was lying earlier. He had seen it. Every time she lied, her eyes would wander ever so slightly—just enough to give her away.

He smirked as he gently grabbed her from the back of his neck and peeled her off, placing her firmly on his lap.

Nightfire growled and snapped at him like an angry puppy.

”Let me go, you damn asshole!”

Aether chuckled, hands firm on her hips.

”What? It’s not like you didn’t have a lover too, right? You were the one who said you liked someone else.”

Nightfire flinched. Her mouth opened as she was about to nod proudly, ego fully engaged—

”Ashara?”

The moment he spoke the name, Nightfire’s body glitched—her form shimmered—and then began to shift. Her confident and fiery posture faltered.

”W-Wait!!!—” she gasped, but before she could stop it, her body gave way.

Ashara took over.

Her expression changed instantly. Where Nightfire’s sexy glare had burned, Ashara now sat with wide, innocent eyes and a gentle pout—a complete contrast. Her demeanour was soft and vulnerable.

Aether’s tone dropped low, calm but serious.

”You know I have a liar detector, right? Especially for ones that annoy me.”

He sounded more like Victor now—sharp, unreadable, dangerous.

Ashara shuddered slightly, nodding quickly.

”Y-Yes... she was lying! She only said that to make you angry because you slept with Nyx!” she blurted, voice trembling, her head bobbing like a hen pecking at the ground.

’FUCK! Why did you tell him that?!’ Nightfire screamed inside Ashara’s head.

Aether’s lips curved upward in a smile—warm, kind.

But Ashara and Nightfire both felt the chill run down their spines.

That wasn’t a kind smile.

That was a Victor smile.

Ashara gulped.

”I-I didn’t do anything! Please?”

She stammered as her hands curled in her lap, shoulders trembling. She could feel something building. Something dangerous.

Aether gave a small nod, then said softly, ”Call Nightfire back.”

Ashara’s eyes darted... She froze.

Of course, Nightfire refused.

No way. She wasn’t coming out now.

No means no!

But Aether just grinned wider. ”Oh, I know how to bring you back...”

He reached into his coat and pulled out a small glass vial, sealed with a cork.

It was his nectar.

He uncorked it and slowly waved it in front of Ashara’s nose.

Her body twitched. Her eyes widened. A low whimper escaped her lips.

Her whole body trembled like it remembered something—something raw, something sinful, something that made every cell in a succubus’ body scream in craving.

And then—

Nightfire returned.

Her form shifted back instantly, her face red with shock and rage.

”...H-How?!”

Aether grinned like a devil.

”Oh, come on now. We drink each other’s nectar every day, and you really think I don’t know how to summon you?”

Nightfire tried to bolt. She turned and made for the door in a flash.

Too slow.

Aether’s hand shot out and caught her by the tail.

”Yipe!” she yelped as he yanked her backward, dragging her right back into his arms. He sat down, pulling her sideways onto his lap.

”Let go, you bastard!” she screamed, squirming.

But he was already lifting her skirt with one hand, revealing her firm, plump ass cheeks squeezed perfectly inside her black lace panties.

He whistled, admiring the view.

”Well, well... you really were planning to drive me crazy today, weren’t you?”

Nightfire blushed furiously, thrashing.

”Don’t you dare—”

SLAP!

”HIIIKKK!!!”

The sound echoed in the kitchen. Her body jolted as her ass bounced slightly from the impact.

Her eyes widened in horror and surprise.

”You... you HIT me!”

Aether just smirked, lifting his hand again.

”That’s for biting me, Nightfire.”
