Chapter 580 A Succubus is not S*** Part-2

”I-I... Can I ask you something?” she began nervously, her heart pounding. ”You kno—KYAAAA!”

Before she could finish, Victor suddenly lunged forward, pinning her to the ground.

His cheeks were flushed, his chest rising and falling rapidly as sweat dripped from his half-naked body.

It was as if the room had become unbearably hot!!

”W-Whatʼs happening?!” Ashara gasped, panic overtaking her.

ʼWell...ʼ

the voice in her head chimed in hesitantly.

ʼYou... um, grabbed the wrong bottle earlier. That was the love potion I was preparing.ʼ

Ashara froze, her face draining of all colour. ”What the fuck were you doing making that?! And why the hell was it next to the cold drinks, you idiot?!” she shrieked inwardly, her voice laced with fury.

The voice snapped back indignantly,

ʼDonʼt blame me! I tried to warn you, but you didnʼt listen, dumbass!ʼ

”Victor, stop!” Ashara tried to push him back, but he didnʼt budge. His lips moved closer to her neck, his breath hot against her skin.

With a low growl, Victor bit into her neck gently, making her gasp.

”~Kya~!”

A surprised moan escaped her lips as her body betrayed her.

While her mind screamed in fear, her body reacted instinctively, releasing a sweet, alluring scent..... The scent of her kind!

ʼAshara, let me take over!ʼ

the voice barked, more serious now.

”C-Can you stop him?” Ashara mumbled, her hands trembling as she tried to stop Victor from sliding his hand further down her body... His hand barely holding onto her things!!

The voice hesitated,

ʼWell... this potion is very potent, so... The only way to calm him is... you know.....ʼ

Asharaʼs heart sank. She bit her lip hard enough to draw blood as tears began pooling in her eyes.

Victor continued to kiss her neck as he tried to move to her boobs while fingers moved underskirt and just about touch her flower when,

Her voice came out as a broken whisper, ”I-Iʼm... scared.”

Snap!

Victor froze suddenly, his predatory gaze softening as awareness returned to his eyes, ʼW-What the hell just happened?ʼ he thought, blinking as he took in the scene. His gaze fell on Ashara—her trembling body, her closed eyes, and the tears streaming down her face.

”Ashara?” he called softly, his voice full of concern.

Ashara flinched, her teary eyes snapping open to meet his gaze. The sheer worry and confusion in his expression shattered the last of her composure.

”Victorrr!” she cried, throwing her arms around him as she sobbed into his shoulder.

Victor stiffened momentarily before wrapping his arms around her gently. His brow furrowed in thought,

ʼWas that Nightfireʼs doing? Or...ʼ

He couldnʼt finish the thought, too distracted by the broken girl in his arms.

For now, he focused on calming her, patting her back softly.

...

...

”So… youʼre telling me that you

mistakenly

gave me a love potion?” Victor asked, his incredulous expression hard to miss.

His sharp eyes were locked on Ashara, who knelt on the floor with a guilty look plastered across her face. His tone carried both disbelief and amusement. ”Mind telling me why you were even making a love potion in the first place?”

Ashara stiffened, her guilty fidgeting halting for a moment. Internally, she echoed the same thought. ʼYeah, why the hell were you making that in the first place?ʼ she asked the voice in her mind, frustration bubbling.

”Whooooss... whooooss...”

The voice responded with a sheepish whistle.

Asharaʼs lips twitched violently. ʼSeriously?!ʼ before answering Victor,

”I-Itʼs not like that!” she stammered aloud, trying to explain. ”I was just... experimenting, you know? Trying new... stuff... typical succubus research and all...h-hah-haha” She let out a nervous laugh that only made her sound guiltier.

Victor raised an eyebrow, staring at her with disbelief so potent she could practically feel it. He let out a deep sigh, rubbing the back of his neck. ”Well, whatever your reason... To be honest, that potion nearly made me lose my mind. That stuff is dangerous” His voice carried a mix of astonishment and concern and inwardly added, ʼI like to have it in my mind...ʼ as he thought of torturing would be good with this.

Inside Asharaʼs head, the voice practically exploded.

”Nearly?! That love potion would have broken anyone elseʼs mind completely!!! Yet this fucker!! ”

Ashara blinked in shock. ʼIs it really that bad?ʼ she asked inwardly.

The voice huffed, a mix of annoyance and grudging admiration in its tone,

”Oh, itʼs worse. Drinking that thing makes a person think about nothing but sex. No inhibitions. No control. Just raw desire. And yet this guy... stayed mostly sane. Thatʼs... insane.”

Asharaʼs gaze shifted to Victor, and for the first time, a flicker of something new crept into her expression, ʼHe really did resist it...ʼ she thought, her lips pressing into a thin line. She was impressed, even if she didnʼt want to admit it outright.

Gathering her courage, she hesitantly spoke, ”V-Victor... I need your he—”

But before she could finish, Victor cut her off.

”Anyway... I need your help,” he said firmly, his tone serious, as though heʼd decided it was time to stop dancing around the issue.

”Me?” Ashara blinked in surprise, pointing at herself.

Victor, however, shook his head..... Slowly, deliberately, he reached up and removed his mask.

Ashara stared for a moment, her brain struggling to process what she was seeing. Then the realization hit her like a thunderbolt.

”OH MY GOD! ITʼS YOU!!” she shouted, her voice rising several octaves. Her jaw dropped as she leaned back, eyes wide with shock. ”Aether! Of all people! I canʼt believe it! All this time… you were Aether! Acting like Victor! How? Why? Damn, this is just—oh my god, this is crazy!”

”Ashara,”

the voice in her mind tried to interject.

But Ashara wasnʼt listening. ”All this time! I never even suspected—wow, Aether!

The

Aether! I canʼt believe—”

”ASHARA!”

the voice in her head bellowed, finally breaking through her rambling.

She flinched, startled. ʼWhat?!ʼ

The voice sighed.

”Youʼre making it obvious. Look at him.”

She froze, her gaze darting to Aether, who was now crouching down to her level. His amused smirk spoke volumes as if he caught her or something!

”Not bad acting,” he said smoothly, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Experience new stories on

ʼHe knows!ʼ

she screamed inwardly.

”Of course, he knows. Heʼs been watching you unravel this whole time,”

the voice pointed out dryly.

Sweat began to bead on her forehead as she laughed nervously, ”W-Well... H-Hello, Aether,” she stammered, forcing a smile.

Aetherʼs smirk widened. ”Hello,” he said, his tone laced with amusement. He leaned in slightly, making Ashara instinctively shuffle back.

”A-Are you going to k-k-kill me? I-I swear I wonʼt tell anyone!!” Ashara started to plead!

”Relax. Iʼm not here to silence you.”

Her retreat stopped short. She blinked up at him, confused. ”Youʼre not?”

He shook his head. ”Of course not.... Rather... I need your help.”

”Me?” she asked again, pointing at herself.

Aether sighed and shook his head again. ”No, not you.” His gaze sharpened, and his smirk took on a more knowing edge, ”I need.... Nightfireʼs help.”

The color drained from Asharaʼs face. She stared at him, her mouth opening and closing as she tried to make sense of his words. ”Y-You know?”

He nodded, his smirk never faltering.

”But... how—” she began, her voice faltering.

Inside her mind, the voice spoke, more serious than ever,

”Ashara, let me out.”
