The Dramatic Crown Princess Wants to Poison Me!

Chapter 805: Chapter 747: Choice_2

Xia Wenjin’s eyes were wet, gazing at Ning Yujun, as if she was leaning against her knees in a previous life, her heart filled with a warm intimacy. She said, ”Senior Sister Ning, if I can do it, can you promise me one thing?”

Ning Yujun raised her eyebrows and said, ”Tell me!”

Xia Wenjin found it hard to speak.

Such a request seemed a bit like asking for repayment in return, though she simply wished for something to be restored to how it was in her previous life. But she knew well, wishing alone wasn’t enough; many things, once changed, were changed for good.

Seeing Xia Wenjin hesitating, Ning Yujun guessed, ”Miss Xia, is there something difficult to express?”

Thinking it over, Xia Wenjin smiled and said, ”It’s not really something hard to express. I just hope that if I can help relieve your pain, you can take me under your wing!”

Ning Yujun was taken aback and looked deeply at Xia Wenjin.

Although Xia Wenjin had spoken her mind, she held no hope, thinking that if she were in Ning Yujun’s place, she would probably doubt her intentions too.

She smiled bitterly and said, ”Actually, seeing Brother Li and Sister Mu’s admiration for Senior Sister Ning, I feel envious. However, I know this is an unreasonable request. Please consider I never mentioned it, Senior Sister Ning!”

She reached out and pressed her hand on Ning Yujun’s shoulders and said, ”Are you ready?”

Ning Yujun nodded gently.

It seemed she didn’t need much preparation because, aside from bringing her to this room and making her lie down, the young lady hadn’t asked her to do anything. Still, she felt that after the young lady pressed her shoulders, she could no longer move.

Xia Wenjin flipped her sleeve, revealing a dagger in her hand.

The dagger gleamed with a cold light, more chilling than Lu Hongyin’s. Since Ning Yujun was immobilized, if Xia Wenjin had any ill intentions, she wouldn’t even have a chance to defend herself.

Ning Yujun didn’t mind; she didn’t even glance at the dagger, asking instead, ”Do you need to cut the flesh directly with a knife?”

Xia Wenjin candidly replied, ”Yes. To extract it, that’s necessary, which is why I told Senior Sister Ning that this process is more painful, more arduous, and more bloody!”

Ning Yujun smiled and said, ”Proceed!”

Xia Wenjin took Ning Yuyou’s right hand and made a cut on her index finger.

The sharp blade pierced the flesh, and blood immediately sprayed down. Xia Wenjin directed her hand out of the bed, letting the blood drip into a small basin that had been prepared earlier.

She put down the dagger, and between her right fingertips, two silver needles were already pinched, swiftly plunging into Ning Yujun’s shoulder. Then, with a flick of the wrist, silver glints flashed again, and one silver needle after another embedded into Ning Yujun’s body at different acupoints.

Initially, the silver needles seemed to aim for the major acupoints, but later, as Xia Wenjin’s hands moved faster, the needles on the shoulders were pulled out and changed to another acupoint for re-insertion.

Unable to move, Ning Yujun naturally couldn’t see the pattern formed by the silver needles on her body.

Xia Wenjin’s technique was so swift that Ning Yujun didn’t even feel any pain. Of course, it might be because the acupoints on her shoulder were sealed, making her senses less sharp.

If anyone approached, they would see the silver needles initially spread over a large area, gradually converging in one spot, eventually assembling into the shape of a butterfly on her right arm.

The butterfly was roughly the size of a child’s palm. As the last silver needle fell, Xia Wenjin quickly picked up the dagger she had put down earlier, slashed her palm, and broke the edge on the right side of the butterfly.

After breaking it halfway, she ceased her motion.

Her movements were extremely fast; with a swing of the hand, the dagger descended. Within a blink of an eye, half of the butterfly was cut, and it was only then that the pain struck Ning Yujun’s senses.

The pain was sharp, as if a knife scraped above the bone, or as if many needles punctured the skin, way more painful than Ning Yujun’s usual episodes, yet Ning Yujun didn’t utter a sound.

But it wasn’t over; the part where the skin was torn bled, and the blood originally flowing from the cut on the fingertip surged more swiftly, turning a bright purplish red, particularly vivid.

Xia Wenjin continued to move the silver needles, consequently causing the butterfly shape to shift downward inch by inch, reaching another place on the arm, where the dagger again swiftly fell, cutting another half of the butterfly.

Ning Yujun tightly knit her brows; the pain was so intense and acute that every tiny trace of pain seemed to overflow through her meridians to her mind, as if every slice where the skin broke was crisp and cold, akin to icy shards adhering to her, akin to flames scorching her. The pain, so acute, so sensitive, so sharp!
