Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1856: Chapter 1846: Of Course, Cater to Their Preferences

”...I suddenly feel like hanging up on you.” Rupert Harris said with a light touch of his thin lips.

Baron Lawrence immediately responded, ”You know I have no memory for names, I didn’t intentionally forget.”

Baron Lawrence indeed has an extraordinary memory, but he has a very small flaw, which is that he can’t remember people’s names. When it comes to names, he finds it difficult to remember them.

This flaw is somewhat similar to face blindness, but since it’s just about not remembering names, it’s not considered a major problem.

Moreover, it’s not that he can’t remember at all—under normal circumstances, he can still remember the person’s surname. This is usually sufficient in social situations.

Rupert Harris also knows about this little flaw and resignedly said, ”Emily Goldsmith. Not Emm something.”

Just think, that idiot used to secretly have a crush on Baron. If she knew Baron couldn’t even remember her name, that idiot would definitely be very upset.

Rupert Harris found it both irritating and amusing. He wasn’t a man who dwells on the past. Everyone has their own piece of history. Besides, Emily Goldsmith and Baron weren’t together, and Baron didn’t even know Emily Goldsmith had a crush on him, so he doesn’t care about the past, only about the present and the future. For the present and the future, that idiot can just be his.

”Got it, Emily Goldsmith. After you fought, what did you do to make her not mad?” Baron Lawrence impatiently questioned.

He’d asked the same question no less than three times already, showing how much he cared.

Rupert Harris didn’t delay any further and directly said, ”You have to tell me the reason behind your fight with Ms. Clark so I can give you advice, right?”

For what reason...

Baron Lawrence instinctively frowned, knitting his brows tightly. Although unwillingly, he recounted the events of that day.

He spoke more from his subjective point of view, constantly searching for justifiable reasons for his actions.

But Rupert Harris could still gather from his words what had happened at the time, instantly feeling that he deserved the cold shoulder from Enna Clark.

Given such circumstances, if Enna Clark could agree to marry Baron at Old Master’s request, she truly liked him.

”That’s it. What should I do next?”

Rupert Harris rubbed his forehead, unsure of how to handle the situation. He’d only dated Emily Goldsmith, definitely lacking compared to Adam Sinclair’s rich experience. He and Emily Goldsmith hadn’t encountered such a situation. He could only share his experience with Baron Lawrence, ”Usually when we fight, I’d give her a little something she likes afterward. Emily has some expertise in oil paintings, so I usually gift her some paintings she wants. Once she receives them, the fight is forgotten. In such cases, I suggest thinking about what Ms. Clark likes and go for that. Women often lighten up when surprised by receiving something they love.”

”Something Enna Clark likes?” Baron Lawrence was stumped.

Rupert Harris had been in the cold wind all night, his fingers freezing stiff. Having said all he could, he immediately added, ”Alright, take your time to think. I have a TV interview in the morning, so I’m going to sleep first.”

After speaking, he didn’t give Baron Lawrence a chance and hung up the phone. Wisely, he turned off his phone and returned to his warm room.

...

Elsewhere.

In the luxurious villa of Birch Garden in Country W, the hung-up man placed his phone on the table, feeling irritated.
