Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Bobby Smacks Scarlett in the Face Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Bobby Smacks Scarlett in the Face Scarlett didn’t sense his displeasure.

She was still trying to coax Gigi with the necklace in her hand, “Would you like to call me Sister? Call me Sister, and I’ll give you this as a Greeting Gift.”

The necklace she held was a custom Swarovski piece, one of a kind in the world, costing over 15 thousand.

She quite liked that necklace.

However, Scarlett thought that these adorable children could potentially be the children of Baron Lawrence’s cousin and had won the Old Master’s affection, so she steeled her heart.

“Call me, Sister,” she said, smiling sweetly and gently teaching Gigi.

Gigi was not shy, but she smartly didn’t comply with the strange woman who had suddenly appeared.

Her clear, black and white eyes, reminiscent of a folded-ear cat, looked curiously at Scarlett, then at the sparkling necklace in her hand before turning her head to look at the boy beside her, “Brubby…”

Tobias Clark firmly held her hand, his tender lips pressed into a line. Although he still had the innocence of youth, his features were beginning to resemble those of a young man. His starry eyes narrowed slightly, and he suddenly spoke, “Aunt, my Mummy said that we shouldn’t accept things from strangers.”

“Also, my little sister is young and doesn’t have strong immunity. Anything given to my little sister generally needs to be sterilized. Your necklace hasn’t been sterilized, has it? My little sister can’t take it; you should keep it for yourself.”

Aunt!

Sterilization!

He hadn’t uttered a single insult, but each word struck harder than any offensive language!

Just moments before, Scarlett had been sweetly coaxing Gigi to call her Sister, always acting the part. Yet, in an instant, he casually referred to her as Aunt.

No girl likes to be called old, and a beautiful woman like Scarlett, used to flattery, certainly dislikes it even more.

Moreover, by saying that her necklace needed sterilization, was Bob… suggesting she carried viruses?

“You—” Even adept at keeping up appearances, she struggled to control herself, her lovely face contorting briefly.

The Housekeeper immediately stepped in front of Bob… and Gigi, his voice cooling, “Your Highness, the Young Master is still young, and children say the darndest things. I hope you won’t take it personally.”

This Princess Scarlett clearly wasn’t as pleasant as people said she was, picking on such a small child – it really did speak poorly of her magnanimity!

Despite being a royal princess, she lacked the basic decorum expected, which was more disappointing than anything else!

Scarlett also realized she’d just made a faux pas, twitching her mouth awkwardly and forcing a smile. Wanting to explain but finding it hard to justify her lapse in composure, she could only say, “Of course, I won’t take a little brother’s words to heart.”

But she no longer wished to associate with Bob… She clutched her necklace, making an effort to smooth things over, “The Housekeeper must have things to tend to, right? I need to have the doctor check my knee again, so I won’t keep you.”

“Of course, Your Highness. If you need anything, please feel free to call a servant,” the Housekeeper said as he bowed slightly, his hands clasped in front of him, flawless in his conduct.

Scarlett, having suffered a bit of dumb loss and getting slapped in the face by Bob… metaphorically, didn’t want to stay any longer, nor did she have the face to do so. She smiled, alright, and walked away.

Tobias Clark watched her departing figure, his gaze lingering long enough to suggest deep thought.

“Young Master, let’s go find the Young Master and Ms. Clark,” the Housekeeper called after a while, bringing Tobias back to reality.

Leading Gigi, who had behaved well just then, he replied, “Okay.”
