Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1094: Chapter 1094: Could it be an Illegitimate Son? Chapter 1094: Chapter 1094: Could it be an Illegitimate Son? Old Master Lawrence was indeed getting on in years, and being ill, he returned home after accompanying Gigi to her checkup.

He had the housekeeper and Scott Harris accompany Bobby and the others to find Baron Lawrence.

Because Gigi had been very brave when she was getting her injection, Tobias Clark rewarded her with a lollipop. With her eyes smiling and the lollipop clutched in her small mouth, her cheeks puffed out as she held her brother’s hand, having completely forgotten the pain of the injection. She toddled along following Tobias’ footsteps, curiously looking around.

When they came upon the rockery and the fishpond with golden fish, she danced excitedly, urging Tobias to look as well, “Brubby, fish!”

“Brubby, look, fishies~!”

Bobby watched her little face beam with a radiant smile, feeling slightly less pained inside. While he made sure she didn’t fall, he said, “All right, no getting close to the water, just stand aside and watch.”

“Fishies…” Gigi stopped eating her lollipop, pointing excitedly at the goldfish in the pond.

The goldfish, startled by her, scurried in all directions.

She, however, thought the fish were dancing and became even more animated.

Her joyous demeanor warmed the hearts of both the housekeeper and Scott Harris, who, understanding one another without words, didn’t rush her.

Yet at this moment, someone had to come and disrupt this happiness.

“Housekeeper, who are they?”

Hearing an unfamiliar voice chime in, the housekeeper noticed Scarlett had arrived. He tucked away the kindness in his eyes, diverting the topic in a strictly business-like manner, “Your Highness, why have you come out? How is your knee?”

At the mention of her knee injury, a shadow flickered in Scarlett’s eyes.

But she was adept at concealing her true feelings, sweetly answering, “It’s much better now, thank you for your concern, Housekeeper.”

With that, her curious gaze fell back onto Gigi and Bobby, scrutinizing them as if she were examining something, she asked, “Are the little brother and sister relatives of the Old Lord? They look so adorable, must be siblings, right?”

Her gaze, touching upon the phoenix eyes that were identical between Bobby and Baron Lawrence, held a moment of doubt.

Impossible.

Could this boy be Brother Baron’s son?

A skip in her heartbeat, she immediately denied the thought.

That couldn’t be possible!

Brother Baron wasn’t married yet, nor had she heard any talk of him having a son.

So, these beautiful children must be relatives of Old Master Lawrence.

Having asked so pointedly, the housekeeper couldn’t avoid her question any longer and could only say, “The young master and the first young lady are the great-grandchildren of the Old Lord.”

Great-grandchildren?

Scarlett remembered that Baron Lawrence had a cousin, so these must be her children.

But she thought the Lawrence family’s first young lady wasn’t married yet.

Could they be illegitimate?

Scarlett speculated in her mind, all the while maintaining a sweet smile on her face, “So these are the Old Lord’s great-grandchildren.”

Regretfully, she said, “Had I known I would meet the little brother and sister here, I would have prepared a gift. What should I do now?”

“Your Highness need not be so polite.”

“It’s my first time meeting them, I should have brought a gift. Oh, right.” Scarlett seemed to have an idea, she took off the necklace around her neck, approached Gigi who was still focused on the fish, squatted down before her, and with a cheerful smile asked, “Little sister, what’s your name?”

Tobias Clark observed the overly familiar woman in front of him and furrowed his brow deeply!
