Star Martial Era: The Way of Star Light Cultivation

Chapter 141: Chapter 100: Promotion to the Inner Court and Admission of Defeat (Seeking Subscription for Monthly Tickets)_3

Only fought one match, and no one came to challenge Xu Jin anymore.

Suddenly, Xu Jin understood what it meant to ”strike a decisive first blow to avoid a hundred others.”

Though it wasn’t quite fitting for the occasion, the principle was the same.

Fear the strong, bully the weak.

This was a common problem.

”Inspector, I want to challenge Third Senior Brother Yu Xianghua,” Xu Jin declared his target directly.

Upon hearing this, the Inspector looked up at Xu Jin, slightly surprised.

The top four senior brothers at the Taoist Institute had held their positions for over half a year, and now, finally, someone had come to challenge them.

”Alright, the next match is arranged.”

The other disciples’ martial arts competitions didn’t excite Xu Jin.

Compared to the adversaries he faced in the First Tier Martial Arts Secret Realm, they were far inferior.

Worth mentioning was Luo Geng, whose cultivation level had already broken through to the Fifth Layer of Dining Dawn, performing extremely ferociously with two victories in two battles, challenging disciples from the Middle Court.

He shouldn’t have any problems advancing to the Middle Court.

”Yu Xianghua, disciple Xu Jin has issued a challenge; please come to Battle Arena One immediately,” the Inspector’s voice called out.

A few dozen breaths later, Xu Jin and Yu Xianghua stood facing each other on Battle Arena One, Xu Jin still in his Taoist Institute attire, while Yu Xianghua had donned double-layered protective soft armor.

”Junior Brother Xu, are you sure you don’t want to wear protective armor?” Yu Xianghua asked.

”No need, I find it cumbersome,” Xu Jin replied with a smile.

Yu Xianghua frowned, hesitantly glancing at Ning Yuchan for instruction.

He was likely worried about injuring Xu Jin and being blamed by the Taoist Institute.

”It’s fine; if he chooses not to wear armor, he bears the consequences himself,” Ning Yuchan said.

With that, Yu Xianghua felt reassured, nodding, ”Junior Brother Xu, be careful.”

”Please!”

”Start!”

The next instant, Yu Xianghua burst forward, his long sword emitting star radiance as he struck at Xu Jin.

Achieving Great Success with Flying Star Step, peak of Seventh Layer of Dining Dawn, his Star Shield should be at Perfection.

Xu Jin quickly noticed that Yu Xianghua was still very cautious; he had erected a Star Shield for himself before rushing forward to attack.

Xu Jin didn’t move.

Watching as the star radiance approached him.

Just when all disciples thought Xu Jin was about to be seriously injured by that strike, and moments before the blade reached him, Xu Jin instantly shifted to his left side; while dropping to the side, starlight burst from his waist, eerily relocated behind Yu Xianghua, and then smacked his palm onto Yu Xianghua’s back.

As his palm landed, star radiance burst forth.

Bang!

Struck solidly in the back with the star radiance, Yu Xianghua staggered as if struck by lightning, spewing a mouthful of blood and collapsing to the ground.

Xu Jin stood with his hands behind his back, quietly waiting for Yu Xianghua to rise.

A moment later, Yu Xianghua got up, spat out a bloody spit, and looking at the calmly waiting Xu Jin, he finally said with a wry smile, ”Senior Brother Xu is formidable, I’ve lost.”

Yu Xianghua exited the arena.

The observing fellow disciples were stunned.

In just one move!

Again, just one move.

If they could understand defeating He Wei with one move,

But now, defeating Third Senior Brother Yu Xianghua in one move shocked them immensely.

Could he be that strong?

He was a Star Pointing genius from this year’s spring, reportedly achieving it in just eighty-three days.

Wasn’t that just monstrously genius?

From this moment, starting from when Yu Xianghua addressed him as Senior Brother, it signified that Xu Jin had officially penetrated the Inner Court and was now officially ranked as the Third Senior Brother of Jinshan Taoist Institute.

But this was not the end.

It was the beginning.

Back when registering with the Inspector, Xu Jin had already listed all his challenges at once, sequentially challenging the Third, Second, and First Senior Brother, which was why the Inspector was surprised.

”Zhang Han, disciple Xu Jin issues a challenge.”

As the Inspector’s voice sounded, Second Senior Brother Zhang Han had already appeared by Xu Jin’s side.

”You lad, your combat power has improved too greatly.”

Zhang Han clapped Xu Jin’s shoulder and laughed, ”Then I, as your Second Senior Brother, will yield my position to you.”

”Inspector, I’ve sparred with Xu Jin, and I’m not his match, I surrender!”

In an instant, all disciples of the Taoist Institute were in an uproar!

He surrendered!

The Second Senior Brother, who had dominated the rankings for over half a year, had just given up!

Already watching from the sideline, First Senior Brother Wang Weisheng was also astounded.

The next moment, the Inspector’s voice resounded.

”Wang Weisheng, disciple Xu Jin challenges you!”
