Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 533 -533: Li Beijue Also Has His Weaknesses

Li Beijue moved another inch, “Like this?”

“It dropped again, you need to move it up a little bit…”

The veins on Li Beijue’s forehead throbbed, and a wave of irrepressible irritation surged in his heart. But recalling what she just said, that a woman should avoid contact with water during her convalescence post-childbirth, he forcefully suppressed the irritation. With patience, he moved it up a bit more, “…Like this?”

The lecturer was not blind, noticed his increasingly darkening face and felt the chill in the surrounding air.

Although Li Beijue’s posture was not 100% standard, she didn’t dare to correct him at this time and automatically overlooked the minor flaw, “Right, that’s it!”

Li Beijue’s tense jaw relaxed a bit, and his falcon-like eyes glanced over at Chi Enen with a hint of self-satisfaction.

Chi Enen caught his look and couldn’t help but laugh silently.

He couldn’t still be remembering that she was too busy taking notes to respond to his earlier comment about his good memory, could he?

Li Beijue did remember!

He vividly remembered that when he had told this woman there was no need for her to take notes, that he could remember everything after hearing it once, she had ignored his words, frantically typing on her mobile phone, and had even given him a doubting look!

It made him feel like gouging her eyes out!

Dammit, it was just bathing a baby, what was so difficult about that, he was going to learn and show her!

“Okay, now let’s practice bathing it. I’ve gone through the steps before, sir, do you remember them?” The lecturer, unaware of the exchange of looks between the two, asked hopefully.

“First lay down a large bath towel, then test the water temperature, wash its head next, wrap it up after drying, and then give it a bath,” he recited methodically.

The lecturer sighed with relief and nodded, “Yes, that’s the sequence, sir, you try it.” As long as the sequence was remembered, generally, there wouldn’t be any major issues.

But she overlooked the fact that the man in front of her was not your average man—all procedures before the actual bathing were performed almost perfectly by him. But once it came to washing the baby’s head, it became an indescribable struggle…

“No, sir, you can’t hold the baby and lower its head like that. An infant’s brain is in the initial stages of development, doing so might lead to cerebral congestion and could cause serious trouble.”

“Sir, you’re holding the baby’s head too high; it could get water in the baby’s eyes. Just keep it level, that’ll be fine.”

“You don’t need so much body wash; too much will create an excess of bubbles, and if the bubbles accidentally block the baby’s nose and mouth, it could lead to suffocation and death.”

“During bathing, we need to be as gentle as possible; you’re being too forceful, sir.”

“Sir…”

“Not like that…”

“This isn’t right either…”

As Chi Enen sat on the side, she felt exhausted just watching the lecturer.

Li Beijue remembered all the steps that she had explained, including how to hold a child and where to place his hands, but when it came to actually doing it, he made mistakes one after another.

The mistakes were not big ones, but all had to do with the nuances of touch.

Chi Enen understood, considering this man had always had everything handed to him, achieving top marks in his work skills but scoring zero in domestic life skills.

Beyond that, from a young age, he had been educated in his family’s military-style education and was himself a soldier. A big man, he tended to be rather forceful in his actions and found it difficult to properly control his strength.

Yet, an infant is very fragile and must be handled with utmost care. It was like asking someone who pilots an airplane to maneuver a child’s toy plane, overly cautious and restrained.
