Reborn with a Space: Building a Fortune Amidst Famine

Chapter 805: 805 Study Session

But he didn’t have time to go there to study. He would have an interpreter with him, and his going was just a formality. He really didn’t think he was that important.

However, he began to look forward to leaving. Thinking about going abroad, he realized this was to avoid the time when Su Yuanyuan went to the seaside.

No one could change her mind. Shao Hongming suddenly laughed. Perhaps everyone would take this trip as an honor, but not Su Yuanyuan. She might even see it as a constraint.

He needed to hurry up and arrange work. The work for the latter half of the year needed to be planned in advance, so he could feel at ease when he was out. He also needed to set aside time to go to the seaside on July 15th.

He really couldn’t rest easy without seeing her in person. She was like a bomb; he didn’t know how she got so daring.

In her heart, Tan Shaoting’s place was unshakeable by anyone.

As a man, he was truly envious and jealous of Tan Shaoting.

A woman could disregard her own safety for him. That was a man’s pride.

Shao Hongming pulled back his scattered thoughts and focused on his work.

The next day, Su Yuanyuan rode her bike to school. She didn’t ask about the number and schedule of people learning the foreign language this time.

So when she got to the classroom, she was really taken aback.

There were at least twenty people; it was quite a large delegation.

She initially thought she had come early, but she hadn’t expected so many people to be there already.

She found a spot in the corner, sat down, and took out her notebook and pen. There was still a quarter of an hour before class began.

Bored, she started drawing in her notebook. Though she’d never learned to draw, sketching cartoon characters was no problem at all, and they turned out very lifelike.

This time, it was a cute Garfield under her pen. The one from the cartoon in her mind appeared vividly on the paper as a big fat cat.

Qin Zhiyuan came in, and among so many people in the classroom, the first person he saw was Su Yuanyuan sitting in the corner. He walked over, wanting to sit beside her.

As he got closer, he saw Su Yuanyuan drawing. Looking at such a cute cat, Qin Zhiyuan smiled, not expecting her to be such a childlike person.

Su Yuanyuan stopped her pen, looked up, and nodded at Qin Zhiyuan.

”Came early?”

”Not bad, there were already more than twenty people when I arrived.”

The people who came here to study didn’t know Su Yuanyuan, but they all knew Qin Zhiyuan. Some of the girls there even had an interest in Qin Zhiyuan. Seeing him come in and head straight for that woman, and the two of them talking so familiarly, everyone speculated about their relationship.

After Qin Zhiyuan arrived, no one else came in.

A few minutes later, the teacher arrived. A middle-aged man, who looked like a foreigner.

Their classes were like school, with a ten-minute break.

After class, Qin Zhiyuan snuggled up to Su Yuanyuan.

”I have to admire you. Can I see your notes tonight?”

”No problem.”

”I finally believe you have a special talent for languages,” Qin Zhiyuan sincerely sighed. He thought he was already very smart, but he couldn’t compare with her at all.

”It’s the same for me; maybe I’m just more receptive to languages. I’ve forgotten all about the past.”

Qin Zhiyuan flipped through Su Yuanyuan’s notes. A person’s character can be seen in his handwriting.

Su Yuanyuan was a woman, but her handwriting was very bold.

It gave the impression of a man’s handwriting, and considering these were notes, they were so neatly written. One couldn’t help but admire it.

Others in the classroom were paying attention to them. Although Qin Zhiyuan spoke very softly, they still heard.

They were curious about the person and notes Qin Zhiyuan praised.

So, a few people who had known Qin Zhiyuan before gathered around.

When they saw the notes, they had to admire her as well.

Su Yuanyuan didn’t like being the center of attention, but she didn’t sense any malice now.

The sound of the class bell rang out again, and they immersed themselves back into intense learning.

They were all adults, and quite capable people, so the learning progress was naturally fast.

Moreover, many had just been inspired by Su Yuanyuan, so they worked even harder.

At noon, class was dismissed, and lunch was provided here.

”Xiao Su, shall we eat together?”

Su Yuanyuan shook her head, ”I’ll eat by myself. You have some friends. I won’t intrude.”

Qin Zhiyuan was someone with high emotional intelligence. He knew Su Yuanyuan didn’t like being noticed or interacting with others, so he just smiled.

The lunch was acceptable: steamed buns, cabbage stewed with tofu.

Su Yuanyuan ordered half a bun and half a portion of vegetables. She sat in her place to eat.

Qin Zhiyuan kept an eye on her. Watching her eat like that didn’t surprise him, as he’d seen her meals before, understanding she wasn’t picky.

After lunch, there was an hour and a half of rest time. Su Yuanyuan felt uncomfortable staying, wondering if she should go home at lunchtime the next day.

But considering none of the twenty others mentioned going home, she wasn’t sure if it was okay to do so herself.

People who came to study were chatting quietly, while others lay on desks resting.

She liked neither, so she continued drawing in her notebook.

Qin Zhiyuan returned. ”Xiao Su, can I borrow your notes?”

Su Yuanyuan handed them over and continued drawing.

It wasn’t until class ended in the afternoon that Su Yuanyuan approached the teacher, ”Teacher, I was wondering if it’s possible to go home at lunchtime? I live not far from here, so I can go home after class and won’t be late for the afternoon session.”

”That’s fine.”

”Thank you, teacher.” Spending time here was less appealing than cycling, and besides, she wouldn’t lack food at home.

In the evening, she returned home to find Zeng Hongling cooking. She went over to help as well.

”Yuanyuan, no need for you to help, you should rest.”

”I just went to class, it wasn’t exhausting.”

”But your brain must be tired, besides, it’s almost ready.

Why not take a shower first? The water’s already prepared.”

Su Yuanyuan nodded, ”That sounds good. I’ll let you handle things, then I’m off to shower.”

At night, when the four of them returned, six people gathered to eat together.

”Xiao Su, can you cope okay?”

”It’s alright, it’s really not easy learning. I feel like my tongue doesn’t twist anymore. It feels like it’s tying in knots.”

Everyone laughed at this. An explanation? It must be quite challenging.

”Yuanyuan, can’t you come back at noon? Is it far?”

”Today, I asked the teacher for permission. I’ll come back at noon, so I can rest a bit. Otherwise, I’m just resting in the classroom.”
