My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 383: Chapter 184: Position

...He hadn’t been in the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect for long, only a short three months.

But to be honest, the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect was even better than Qin Fang had imagined.

Everyone he’d met, be it his master, the sect’s Masters and senior sisters, the Elders of the various lineages... or even the other Inner Sect Disciples...

...none of them had that cruel, cutthroat air of people fighting to the death over the smallest of resources!

...The atmosphere, it had to be said, was astonishingly good.

It was no wonder the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect had stood for three or four thousand years without falling.

It was probably inextricably linked to this atmosphere Within the Sect of competition without enmity.

After all...

If every lineage formed its own clique, fighting to the death over a little bit of power, a few resources, or their own Cultivation...

...the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect would have likely destroyed itself with internal strife long ago.

The Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect as it was now was what he imagined a Major Sect with a legacy of many years should be like.

...As a member, and a Hall Master’s True Inheritance of a lineage at that, Qin Fang also hoped to contribute something to the Sect’s strength.

...Qin Fang had never been the type to selfishly hoard his knowledge.

He closed his eyes and began to take stock of his knowledge, preparing for the lecture in three days’ time.

Once Qin Fang selected his position, the Tempering Martial Hall was notified immediately. Very quickly, an announcement for a lecture by Qin Fang appeared on the Tempering Martial Hall’s schedule.

It was even emphasized with bold text!

”Huh? It’s an announcement for Senior Brother Qin Linyuan’s lecture!”

”Senior Brother Qin is going to start lecturing?”

”Looks like Senior Brother Qin chose to become a Scripture Lecturer at the Tempering Martial Hall?”

”That’s not so strange. He is the Hall Master’s True Inheritance of the Guiyuan Lineage, after all... A lot of the Scripture Lecturers at the Tempering Martial Hall are Elders from the Guiyuan Lineage.”

”But Senior Brother Qin only just broke through, right? ...And he’s already here to lecture?”

”The content covers... entry-level cultivation of ’Mirror Flower Water Moon’ and ’Realm-Breaking Experience’?”

”Ah! Then I have to go listen!!”

Someone exclaimed, even getting a little excited, ”I’ve failed at Breaking Realm twice in a row, and now I’m preparing for my third attempt... Senior Brother Lin Yuan is a peerless genius who achieved Breaking Realm at twenty... He must have some unique insights on Breaking Realm!”

”I’m going too, I’m going too! My Contemplation Method has clearly reached its peak, and my Qi Blood Strength is sufficient, but I’ve still failed two or three times... and I still can’t find the specific reason... I’ve come to the Tempering Martial Hall so many times, and I’ve paid attention to all the points the Elders mentioned, but I still fail... I hope Senior Brother Lin Yuan’s experience can help me...”

The lecture content was also listed, and many Inner Sect Disciples who had been stuck at the Huajin stage for years were very excited.

...Everyone knew that Qin Fang had broken through the Divine Gate, ignited the Divine Fire, and achieved True Essence at the age of twenty.

He was the only one to do so in nearly thirty years!

A genius like that was bound to have something unique about him. Almost no one doubted this.

”Mirror Flower Water Moon... I chose it as my Cultivation Technique, but half a year has passed and I still haven’t reached the entry-level... I don’t know what’s wrong. I have to go to this lecture too.”

Mirror Flower Water Moon was a Body Technique that many Inner Sect Disciples in the True Essence Realm with a Profound Water Nature would choose. Seeing this topic, they too became interested.

...Among them, disciples from the Jinghong Lineage were the most numerous.

This was because many in the Jinghong Lineage chose the Profound Water Nature.

As the news spread, these Inner Sect Disciples rushed to sign up, planning to attend the lecture that day.

Before long, all the spots were filled.

Those who were left could only listen from outside the hall.

”True Inheritance... Hmph. If something goes wrong during this, he’ll lose a great deal of face.”

Amidst all the harmony, there were, inevitably, some discordant voices.

Qin Fang’s rise had been too fast. Three months ago, he was just a wanderer. Three months later, he had reached the core level of a Major Sect within a Prefecture.

Such a rapid rise... was bound to make some people jealous.

...Human nature is always complex.

However, these discordant voices usually remained buried deep in their hearts.

They didn’t dare voice them aloud.

’Are you crazy?’

’He’s the Hall Master’s True Inheritance of the Guiyuan Lineage, inducted with a grand ceremony!’

’Speak ill of him?’

’Isn’t that just openly making an enemy of the Guiyuan Lineage?’

’Do you not want a future here?’

Amidst such clamor, three days passed in a flash.

Three days later, Qin Fang finished a night of Cultivation and opened his eyes.

Looking at the color of the sky, his figure moved, turning into a streak of light as he headed straight for Baichuan Plaza.

Today was the first day of his scripture lectures!

...

When he arrived at the Tempering Martial Hall, he found it was already a sea of people.

Qin Fang looked down from the air, his eyes flashing slightly.

...He had, in fact, anticipated such a scene.

After all, as Hall Master Guiyuan’s True Inheritance, his first-ever lecture was bound to attract a great deal of attention.

Some were genuinely there to listen to the lecture.

But he feared a considerable portion... were just there for the spectacle.

Some might even be hoping to see him make a fool of himself.

’If I, a Hall Master’s True Inheritance who personally chose the position of Scripture Lecturer, end up making a fool of myself on the very first day...’

’...it wouldn’t just be my own prestige that plummets.’

’The Guiyuan Lineage would be secretly ridiculed as well.’

’I’m like oil sizzling over a hot flame right now; who knows how many people are waiting to see me fall from my pedestal as a ’genius.’`

Glancing at the situation below, Qin Fang’s figure moved, flying directly toward a side hall.

He finally landed in the courtyard of the side hall... The Lecturer would naturally enter from the side hall before beginning the lecture.

At a glance, he saw Master Gu waiting there.

”Master.”

Seeing him, Qin Fang bowed in salute.

”Linyuan, you’re here?”

Master Gu showed a slight smile, then asked, ”Are you ready?”

Qin Fang nodded calmly.

”Good. When you get up there, just speak your mind. Don’t be nervous, and don’t overthink it. Your Cultivation time has been short, so even if there are some mistakes or omissions, it’s no big deal.”

Master Gu smiled encouragingly. ”Don’t feel that this lecture is all that important, and certainly don’t think there will be any serious consequences if it doesn’t go well... The sky won’t fall.”

”Just stick to what you’ve prepared.”

Master Gu’s words left Qin Fang stunned.

”Master Gu is right. The sky won’t fall. A mistake is just a mistake... The honor of the Guiyuan Lineage doesn’t rest on a single lecture from a new disciple.”

Wen Suxin’s voice came from the side, and she too offered an encouraging smile.

Looking at the smiles of Master Gu and his Senior Sister, a warmth spread through Qin Fang’s heart...

’The day I chose my position, Master Fan reminded me how important this lecture was. But now, just as I’m about to go on, Master Gu and my Senior Sister are here encouraging me, telling me the sky won’t fall... They clearly don’t want me to feel pressured. A sect like this...’

Qin Fang let out a light breath and said, ”Rest assured, Master, Senior Sister. I understand.”

Seeing the clarity in Qin Fang’s eyes, both of them smiled and nodded.

”Then go on.”

Master Gu smiled, clearing the path to the main hall.

Qin Fang bowed in salute, then straightened the Infinite Star Armor he wore and strode inside.

The main hall was noisy. Everyone was waiting, discussing how the appointed time had come, but they didn’t know when Qin Fang would arrive.

Just then, a figure walking out from the side of the hall captured everyone’s attention.

His gaze was clear and calm, his steps unhurried as he walked all the way to the lecturer’s position on the high platform and sat down on the cattail mat.

He raised his head, looking down at the Inner Sect Disciples below, their expressions varied.

Who else could it be but Qin Fang?

The noise in the hall instantly grew louder. Qin Fang’s expression didn’t change as he spoke softly, his True Essence vibrating to make his voice echo throughout the hall.

”Quiet.”

As the word fell, the clamor gradually subsided...

Until finally, there was dead silence.

Countless gazes—curious, scrutinizing, expectant...

...all fell upon the tall, straight figure on the high platform of the hall, clad in his dark-patterned Infinite Star Armor.
