Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 270: Unexpected Encounter

It’s a simple-looking platinum bracelet with a few gemstones embedded in it; the gemstones match the theme of Isla’s band, so it will go well with the clothes she has.

No one would say Adam’s a bad boyfriend when he is already putting so much thought into buying a simple gift for his new girlfriend. Well, some would say it’s the bare minimum a guy can do for his girlfriend.

Adam points towards the bracelet and asks the associate behind the station to pack it up for him.

As she is done packing it up and bringing it to the counter for checkout, Rita also arrives with the rest of his items.

But it’s not just Rita; Loria also arrives at the checkout counter with her friend, ready to leave.

Seeing her, Adam smiles lightly while she maintains a poker face, just giving him a nod to acknowledge his presence.

Adam doesn’t mind. He has become used to her closed-off attitude towards everyone.

”Looks like you are done with your shopping as well,” Adam says, only to get a nod from Loria. As for Sandra, she keeps her mouth shut, since Loria’s the one who’s doing the talking, even though barely any words have come out of her mouth.

Adam smiles again before facing to look at the cashier and handing over his card to her.

”I would like to pay for these ladies as well,” Adam says, which surprises Loria and her friend.

But before Loria could even say anything, Adam turned to her and spoke. ”Please, it’s the least I can do for the inconvenience that my father might have caused you to hate me; treat this as an apology from me,” Adam says.

Loria’s lips, which were open closes as she gives Adam a nod.

Adam smiles.

Seeing the Loria agreed, the cashier didn’t think much of it. Seeing how beautiful Loria is, she guessed that Adam was trying to impress her, which she is not wrong to assume.

But when he looks at Adam and sees how he, too, is very handsome, she wonders if it was really necessary for Adam to do this.

Well, she’s just your average girl working in a store to earn a living; she doesn’t know how things work in the world of these rich people.

With everything bagged, Adam is given his items and Loria hers.

It cost Adam some money, as the dress Loria bought for herself was quite expensive, but Adam is willing to take this small financial loss because whenever Loria wears this dress, she will be reminded of him.

People never realize how strong an associated memory can be. If something reminds someone of someone else, the psychological effect it has on one’s mind is exceptional.

Especially if that associated memory is a positive one, by expressing his good will and buying her the things she wanted, Adam has created a positive memory, and now that every time Loria ever uses one of the items that Adam bought her, it will remind her of him, which in turn will make her like him more even if he is not personally there with her.

With bags in hand, Adam joins Loria out of the store, thinking that they are finally going to depart, but to his surprise, this day keeps getting more chaotic.

He sees a familiar face approaching him.

Adam never thought he would see this face again, but the even more surprising thing to him is the person she is walking next to as they walk towards him.

Adam tenses up a little as he thinks he is about to be confronted.

But he’s wrong. The man whom Adam has only seen in pictures stops a meter away from him and bows his head towards Loria.

”Mrs. Thronewood, I didn’t expect I would be lucky enough to be graced by your presence here,” The man says, looking at Loria.

Seeing this, Adam lets out a sigh of relief, realizing that the man is not here for him but for Loria.

He then turns to look at the woman next to the man, who is intensely staring at him with her beautiful eyes.

It’s Gloria, the woman who invited her to his home so that she can cheat on her husband, and the man standing next to her is the cuck himself.

Adam can’t believe they are still together, even after everything that happened.

Adam saw it with his own eyes when Gloria sent all those pictures and videos of him fucking Gloria to her husband as a form of revenge.

Those videos and images are not something someone with a weak heart can watch. The way Gloria’s face was twisted into its most depraved state while she was covered in his cum, any man who sees his wife in such a state would have a mental breakdown and leave because they would never be able to unsee what they have witnessed.

But from the looks of it, Gloria’s still married to her husband, as she still has a ring on her ring finger.

Adam starts getting curious as to why they are still married. Is her husband a cuck who got turned on by seeing his wife in such a state, or is there some other reason?

As he meets Gloria’s gaze, he can see the desire and need she feels for him, which makes him smirk.

Even though it was just one night, one night of intense, rough sex, it seems to have done enough to leave a permanent mark inside Gloria that she can never get rid of, and Adam can see it in her eyes.

Those eyes are begging for his touch the moment she saw Adam.

It’s not just her eyes; her lips are quivering, her fingers are twitching, while she is clenching her thighs together tightly.

Gloria herself didn’t expect her body to have such an intense reaction to just seeing Adam.

She thought she had managed to suppress her desires; she thought she was able to move past that night, but she thought wrong.

Her body remembers every second of that night. The way he kissed her, the way he held her, the way he fucked her. She can still feel the phantom sensation of Adam’s cock entering her, stretching her pussy beyond its previous limits.

All because she came across him in the mall.

Pressing her lips together, she continues to stare into Adam’s eyes with desire and need with her flickering eyes, while her husband seems to be busy trying to bootlick Loria by showering her with praises.

If any woman heard their husband praise another woman right in front of them with such high praises, they would be fuming with anger and expressing their jealousy, but Gloria is so entranced with Adam that she doesn’t even care what her husband is doing.

”Let me introduce you to my wife, this is Gloria. Gloria, this is Mrs Thronewood, my boss,” Gloria’s husband says to Gloria, snapping her out of her dazed state.

Gloria’s eyes widen, she immediately jerks her head to face Loria and greets her with respect.

While her husband doesn’t think much of her action, Loria’s eyes gleam with curiosity as she notices how Gloria was staring at Adam.

Loria is keen enough to see that it was not just Gloria getting infatuated by Adam’s good looks; there was more in her eyes.

Loria could tell that Gloria knows Adam. This is not their first time seeing each other.

Loria also saw the look in Gloria’s eyes, which is almost the same as the one Sandra has when she looks at Loria’s husband, but far more intense and needy.

Like an addict setting their eyes on their favorite drug.

Her eyes shift a little to look at Adam and see him just smiling as usual, as if he has no idea who Gloria is.

Loria is a very observant woman; just by watching Gloria’s demeanor, she can tell that Adam and Gloria are fucking behind her husband’s back.

This revelation impresses Gloria, not because Adam’s fucking another man’s wife, but his ability to stay composed in front of the man whose wife he is fucking.

Loria recalls the words Adam said to her. ’What a small world.’ Because what are the chances of Adam not only being related to Jack Grant but also having close ties with one of her employees, well, not directly, but significant enough as he is fucking the man’s wife.

Loria’s curiosity for Adam takes a step further.

Now she wants to know more about him.

She looks at the nonchalant Adam, the desperate Gloria, and the clueless husband and decides to see what will happen if she tries to force an interaction between all of them.

”I am hungry. How about you and your wife join us for lunch?” Loria says, catching Gloria’s husband by surprise.

He would be an idiot to reject a lunch with his boss, so he immediately agrees. ”It would be my honor!” He says excitedly, as this could be a chance for him to improve his standing in the company.

”What about you? Do you wanna join us?” Loria asks Adam.

Adam looks at her, surprised, wondering why she would invite him for lunch. But then again, he is not going to decline her offer, especially when he can get closer to her, but now there is also another factor, Gloria.

Seeing her, Adam’s desire to mess with her rose, and what’s better than messing with her right in front of her husband?

Her husband has already seen his wife in her most depraved state. Now, Adam wants to see if her husband’s really a cuck, or have they come to terms with some kind of deal to continue staying in their marriage.

”Sure, I would love to,” Adam answers with his signature smile.
