Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 260: A Rumour Storm

The ride back to Isla’s place was a pleasant one.

Now that she knows Adam is being serious about making her his girlfriend, her mood is through the roof, making her more chatty than usual.

Adam, of course, didn’t mind this. Listening to Isla talk about random things, getting excited over her own stories, and discussing her future tours and plans for her band, all of this made Adam feel something he had never experienced before.

A sense of normalcy.

Before his regression, Adam was a loner, someone who didn’t get along with anyone; now, he is having a normal conversation with a partner, something that was never present in his past.

This made him feel a little emotional, but he managed to remain calm and continue smiling at Isla’s stories.

Isla also couldn’t stop expressing how happy she is right now and how amazing it feels to be his girlfriend, and as an act of appreciation, she even gave him a blowjob as he was driving.

As he cums into her mouth and watches her gulp it up like water, Adam can’t help but wonder, ’Having a girlfriend is not so bad.’

Seeing her look at him the way she does, not with lust, fanaticism, or devotion, but with actual love, which is surprising to him.

Of all the girls he has been with, only Isla has reacted to him like this. In Xu Lin’s eyes, he sees worship and devotion, in Leila’s eyes, he sees complete submission towards him, in Ruth’s eyes, he sees lust and submission, and so with many other women he has fucked and got addicted to his cock.

Isla turned out to be different. She started loving him from the moment she laid her eyes on him, and that didn’t change even after the intense, rough sex that they had.

Sure, she lusts after Adam, but it’s just a byproduct of her love for him, unlike Ruth or other girls in his life who want nothing more than to have their cunts destroyed by his massive cock.

Even Clara, who looks at him with motherly love, lusts after him more than anything else.

So, seeing Isla love him just for the sake of loving him made Adam like her more than other girls in his life, even though she is the one he knows the least about.

But that doesn’t matter. Now that she is his girlfriend, he can learn everything about her in due time.

Adam finally stops in front of a luxury hotel where Isla and her band members are staying.

”We are here,” he says, stopping the car and looking at Isla.

Isla pouts, looking at the building outside. She then turns to look at Adam with longing eyes, already feeling sad about leaving Adam.

The thought of being away from him makes her sad.

”I want to spend some more time with you...” she says.

”We can, but I am sure your friends are curious about your whereabouts. You should go and talk to them. If you want, you can come over tonight,” Adam suggests.

Isla smiles again, thinking about spending another night with Adam.

She nods and gets out of his car.

Adam, too, walks out to bid her farewell. As they stand before the hotel in each other’s arms, Isla turns to look at Adam one last time and leans in to kiss him.

”Bye, see you later~” she says, pulling away, sliding her hand away from his as she walks into the hotel.

Adam smiles and waves her goodbye before getting into his car and driving away.

While the new couple leaves, they don’t notice someone standing just a few feet away from where they were just standing, who looks shocked.

”Did I just see what I just saw?” The man asks himself, unable to believe his own eyes.

He was certain that the woman he saw was Isla Verne with some unknown guy just now.

This guy is just your random NPC who was on his way to meet his friends when he noticed a nice car stop a few feet away from him, and to his surprise, the person who walked out of the car was Isla Verna, a singer he admired a lot and a huge fan of the band that she is in.

He was so surprised seeing her before his very eyes that he couldn’t even move from his spot. Then he saw another person walk out of the car.

A young, very handsome-looking man, he had never seen this man before, but from the looks of it, he looked like one of those top male models.

The man then watched the handsome guy hug Isla and kiss her, which blew his mind.

As a fan, he, of course, thought he knew everything about his favorite band and its members. In fact, he firmly believed that Isla and Jean were in a relationship and that they were hiding it from the public.

But what he just saw now destroyed his belief in seconds. Isla was saying the truth when she said in an interview that she is not dating Jean, but she seems to have lied as well about not dating anyone.

She is in a relationship with some random guy no one knows about, and from the looks of it, she seems deeply in love.

The guy saw how Isla looked at the handsome guy when he pulled away from him, the longing in her eyes, only someone who is deeply in love with someone else behaves like that.

The guy was so overwhelmed by what he saw that he couldn’t even think of taking out his phone and taking a photo of Isla and the mysterious man together.

Only when the car drives away does the man come to his senses and begin cursing himself for being an airheaded idiot.

”Fuck!” he says quickly, pulling out his phone and logging into the forum where the fans of Velvet Arcadia gather to discuss and appreciate their music.

[Guys, you won’t believe what I just saw. I saw Isla kissing some random guy!!!! I am not kidding, she is dating some very handsome-looking guy!!!] He types and immediately posts it on the firm.

Seconds later, his post is immediately bombarded with questions from other fans, mostly doubting him, calling him a liar, while some ask him questions about the situation.

Even though most of them didn’t believe him, the matter of Isla being in a relationship was too big a news for it not to blow up.

Soon, the topic went from just the forum to being discussed on other social media platforms. Some even started directly messaging Isla, asking if she is in a relationship or not.

This just shows how obsessed the fans of Velvet Arcadia are. A simple rumor that a guy started in their fan forum blew up without any evidence.

And since it started getting so much traction, those people who were skeptical at first started believing in it as well. As they say, when a lie is told a thousand times, it becomes the truth.

But in this case, it has been the truth all along. Isla is now in a relationship with some guy that no one knows about.

Her fans start speculating about who this mysterious guy Isla is dating.

From the description they got from the guy who claimed to have seen her, they start going through Isla’s life to find a match.

A tall, very handsome-looking guy with thick black hair and a model-like appearance.

Multiple names came forth, actors, models, other singers, anyone who matched the guy’s description and had some public interaction with Isla was put forth for him to confirm, only to be disappointed as none of them were a match.

A witch hunt for Adam’s identity has begun, but as for the man in question, he has no idea about it. He is rather busy driving through the city, whistling a song and thinking about how to spend his time.

Isla, too, has no idea about the storm that’s brewing online regarding her and her new relationship.

As soon as she walks into her room, feeling giddy with happiness just thinking about being in a relationship with Adam, her doorbell rings.

When he opens the door, she finds her best friend Suzaan standing outside, looking at her with eyes full of curiosity, ready to listen to everything that Isla has to say about her night with Adam and everything they did together.

Isla, of course, is also very eager to share everything with Suzaan and tell her how happy she is right now.

The girls enter the room, lock the door behind them, and sit down on the bed to talk.

”So start from the very beginning, tell me everything that happened after you guys left,” Suzaan asks while her eyes sparkle with curiosity.

As much as Suzaan was jealous of Adam yesterday, she is already over it because she is not someone who likes to hold grudges over small things.

She is rather more curious about what happened between Isla and Adam, especially seeing how Isla has the biggest smile on her face, and the way she is glowing.... It’s something Suzaan has never seen before.

Something really good must have happened for Isla to look so happy, making Suzaan extremely curious.

”Okay, let me start at the beginning. As soon as I stepped out with him...” Isla begins reciting everything that happened with Adam last night.

How they got into his car and found out that he is actually rich, how they stopped their date before it even began, and went to his house and fucked like rabbits....

The more Suzaan listened, the wider her eyes got.

She couldn’t believe how fast Isla and Adam’s relationship is escalating.
