Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 137: Live Here

Adam has the biggest, most satisfied smile on his face as he hears the words ʼFuck Youʼ come out of Juliaʼs mouth.

He could put Julia in her place right here and now, and he would love every second of it, but he knows now is not the time.

Julia continued to resist, just as he expected. He knew that once he told her what he really wanted from her, her resolve to resist him would increase; she would be even more determined to fight against her urges.

And the more she fights, the more Adam is going to enjoy it when it all finally comes crumbling down.

The day is near, and that day will be the day Adam fulfils one of his greatest desires.

He looks at Julia, who has her face pressed against the wall and his dick pressing between her asscheeks. She isnʼt even aware of it, but even after rejecting him with her harsh words, her body is still craving his touch.

She is grinding against him on instinct.

Adam steps away, letting Julia go. Julia takes a breath of relief as she feels Adamʼs grasp on her loosen.

”Get the fuck out of my room,” Adam says.

Julia turns around and meets Adamʼs eyes again. She is feeling a lot of things right now, but anger trumps her.

How dare Adam think about owning her? It goes against everything that makes her who she is.

She doesnʼt say a word. Instead, she takes off in anger. Adam watches her storm off with a smile.

ʼLetʼs see if you stay as resilient as you were right now when I show you my cards,” Adam murmurs before breaking into a smirk.

After a minute, he heads downstairs as well and sees the dining table filled with dishes. Itʼs a rare sight as there usually isnʼt any dinner prepared for the evening at the Grant mansion.

And to his surprise, even Jack is here today, early, but of course, his focus is more on his tablet than the food.

Adam then turns his head to look at Julia, who has a sour face from what just happened and is giving him a deathly glare.

Adam meets her eyes and smirks before taking a seat.

Soon, Xu Lin walks in with another dish in hand. Seeing that Adam has taken his seat, she approaches him and starts plating his food for him with a smile on her face.

”Thank you, Xu Lin,” Adam says.

”Youʼre welcome~” Xu Lin says, blushing.

Adam begins eating the food and likes it. Usually, dinner was ordered from outside as Julia didnʼt bother to cook, and since Jack spent most of his nights in the office, there was no need for it.

Adam liked the idea of coming home and having warm food ready for him to eat.

”You know what, Xu Lin, why donʼt you move in. We have a few guest rooms, you can use one,” Adam says.

As soon as he says this, both Julia and Jack look at him.

Feeling their gaze, Adam looks at Jack while giving no importance to Julia.

”What? I would love to have someone cook food for me for the evening, I hate ordering dinner just because someoneʼs too lazy to make it,” Adam says, throwing a jab at Julia.

Jack hears Adamʼs words and then looks at Xu Lin. ”Do you want to live here?” Jack asks.

Xu Lin is caught off guard hearing Jackʼs words. She then looks at Adam, who smiles and nods his head.

Xu Lin looks at Jack again and nods her head.

”Fine, you can move in, but you need to take care of all the household chores from now on,” Jack says.

”I accept, sir,” Xu Lin says.

Julia frowns, seeing how the father-son duo didnʼt even bother asking her about it, but she didnʼt question it.

If Xu Linʼs going to take care of all the household chores, then there is less work for her. She goes back to eating.

Adam looks at Jack and wonders why he agreed to his suggestion so easily; usually, he would ask a lot of questions before coming to a conclusion.

So Adam could only think of one thing that would make his extremely pragmatic father not question things.

”Should I assume your business with Margarette is going well?” Adam asks.

Jack takes his eyes off his tablet again and looks at Adam. ”Not yet, but we did talk over the phone and she sounded very happy to set up a meeting as early as possible,” Jack says.

Adam nods his head and goes back to eating. Jack does the same.

Adam is the last person to finish his dinner as he takes his time tasting everything that Xu Lin made.

For how young and inexperienced she is, she makes delicious food. Adam canʼt help but feel proud of himself for choosing Xu Lin, even though his reasons for choosing her were completely different.

With Julia and Jack taking their departure to their bedroom, Adam finds himself alone in the dining room.

He leans back to peer into the kitchen and sees Xu Lin washing dishes. Adam smiles, he picks up his plates and walks into the kitchen.

Noticing his arrival, Xu Lin turns and smiles, with red cheeks. ”Master~ let me take them,” she says, approaches Adam and takes the plates off his hands, and puts them in the sink.

Adam smiles and approaches her as she continues to wash the dishes. He stands behind her, watching as her skirt shakes from her scrubbing and rinsing the plates.

He takes a step closer and places his hand on her snatched waist. Xu Lin stiffens up and stands straight as the back of her head touches Adamʼs chest.

But then she blushes and smiles as she realizes who it is.

”So, now that you will be staying with me under the same roof, what do you think I should do?” Adam asks.

Xu Lin once again turns red as Adam points her towards the possibility of a lot of things happening with her and Adam in this mansion.

Now that she is going to be living here, Adam could walk into her room any time he wants, or he could call her into his room and do unspeakable things to her.

Xu Lin might be naïve and innocent, but she is still human with carnal desires, and when you have a mate like Adam, you canʼt stop thinking about him.

After being officially accepted by Adam, Xu Linʼs fantasies have grown as she has done some research of her own on how to be a good partner to your master.

Yes, she used those exact same words, and because of that, she got recommended a URL link to an S&M site. Luckily, it was not one of those extreme ones.

Just a sight to help beginners to explore their kind, but of course, Xu Lin didnʼt know that. She thought that was how it was.

And she learned what she needed to do through the words written on that site. How to be a good servant, how to please your master, and all that stuff.

So now her naïve, innocent mind is filled with things that are not normal.

If Adam comes to know this, he would be stunned.

”Anything you want~ I am here to please you~,” Xu Lin says.

Adam looks down at Xu Lin, and he sees her cleavage from above. He is also surprised by her words. They sounded rehearsed but genuine at the same time.

He also wondered if these are Xu Linʼs true feelings and she is actually going to let him do whatever he wants, because if it is, Xu Lin just made it a lot easier for him.

He thought he would have had to shape her into his perfect maid slowly, one step at a time.

”I like the sound of that. Looks like you want to be my perfect little maid,” Adam whispers.

”Mhmm~” Xu Lin nods her head. ”I plan to do just that,” she says.

Adam smiles again.

”Good, wash up and sleep here. No need to go back to your place, itʼs already nighttime. You can move in your stuff tomorrow,” Adam says.

”I understand, master~,” Xu Lin says.

Adam then grabs her face and turns it around and kisses her, a soft but passionate kiss, enough to make Xu Lin fall in love with him over and over again.

After giving her a comfortable kiss, Adam backed off and left her to finish up her work and go to sleep.

He could take advantage of her staying over tonight, but he is in no mood. He doesnʼt want Xu Lin to believe he only made her stay overnight so that he can do things to her.

But from what he has heard and seen, Xu Lin wouldnʼt mind that at all, but he is taking no chances.

”Have a good night,” Adam says.

”You too, master~” Xu Lin says with a big smile and waving her hand.

Adam heads back to his bedroom to call an end to his day as well.

Back in his room, he cleans up before bed and then goes to sleep.

But then, an hour later, he wakes up as his bodyʼs excellent vigilance wakes him up.

He opens his eyes and sees Xu Lin walk in nervously into his room.

”Xu Lin?” he acknowledges her presence. ”What are you doing here?” He asks.

”Umm~ Master~ I am here to....” Xu Lin pauses and blushes. ”... to serve you~” she ends her sentence while fiddling with her fingers shyly.
