Regression - Second Chance At Life

Chapter 119: Hazelʼs Back

Lamai looks at her father leave with the biggest smile on his face. Something that she rarely gets to see.

Seeing this, she feels happy for him, but then starts feeling a little jealous, a little disappointed that the reason for his smile on his face is not her but Adam.

Ever since she figured out what her dadʼs dream was, she made it her dream. To bring the world championship gold home, but with how things are going in her career, she doesnʼt know if she will be able to do it.

She is good, really good; she has won most of her professional fights, but she doesnʼt know if she is good enough to hang in the ring with the current womenʼs world champion.

Lamai is a prodigy, but there are thousands like her who are also prodigies who are aiming for the big gold. Is she good enough to step over the other prodigies to get herself a fight against the world champion? She has no idea.

The difference between her and Adam is that she is a prodigy and he is a monster, a freak, a one of a kind. From the very beginning, no one doubted him. It was as clear as day.

Thatʼs the difference. Other people who get into this sport arenʼt even guaranteed a successful career, let alone a single gold around their waist, but when it comes to Adam, everyone who has seen him in action can already see Adam with the biggest, shiniest gold in the sport.

Lamai starts feeling a little jealous.

If she were a freak like Adam, maybe she too would be able to bring such a big smile to her fatherʼs face.

”Whereʼs coach?” She is snapped out of her thoughts as Adam returns, now wearing his normal clothing.

Still feeling conflicted about her emotions. She glares at Adam, finding his handsome face irritating for the first time.

”He went home, you can leave as well,” Lamai says coldly before walking away, confusing Adam.

ʼWhat did I do?ʼ He thinks to himself. Though confused why Lamai is suddenly giving him the cold shoulder, he doesnʼt care. He isnʼt going to lose his mind over something that doesnʼt deserve his time.

He will ask her the next time he meets her.

Adam leaves his gym and decides to return home. He has other things to do today, like going to that dinner with his father and that beautiful lady who was accompanying him that night.

Adam doesnʼt mind being used by his father, as he is getting something out of it.

Returning to his mansion, he finds Hazelʼs car parked outside once again.

ʼAgain? Isnʼt she scared of getting caught?ʼ Adam wonders and gets out of his car.

He doesnʼt directly walk up to the door; instead, he walks around the mansion to look inside, and just like before, he catches Julia and Hazel getting a little intimate with each other.

But this time, they are keeping their lips apart, clearly exercising much more caution than before, but Hazelʼs hand is still going up inside Juliaʼs dress while Julia has her lips pressed together, staring into Hazelʼs eyes.

Seeing them act so intimately, Adam starts wondering if these two are just fuck buddies or do they have genuine feelings for each other. Because the way they are looking at each other feels different from one of just lust.

Adam realizes that he needs to find out more about the relationship between Julia and Hazel, whatʼs really going on between them.

Adam makes his way back to the front door and walks in. As he enters the living room, he finds Julia and Hazel sitting side by side; no longer does Hazel have her hand up Juliaʼs dress.

But the evidence of their previous action still canʼt hide from Adamʼs sharp senses.

His sharp eyes see the light flush on her cheeks, the recently rubbed wet fingers of hazel, and the lingering scent of sex in the air.

An average human might not be able to pick it up, but Adam definitely can. He can tell just by the smell if someone was getting busy or not.

Adamʼs stare lingers on them, especially on Julia, which makes her nervous. She knows how observant Adam is, and this scares her, wondering if Adam caught up to whatʼs happening between her and her half sister.

”Adam!” Hazel greets him first. Her beautiful face lights up with a bright smile as she approaches Adam. She strides, confident, with not an ounce of doubt on her face, unlike Julia.

Adam smiles back at Hazel. Their eyes meet as Hazel steps closer and hugs Adam. Adam hugs back. His hands wrap around her small waist. The dress she is wearing itʼs backless, so he makes direct contact with her skin.

He gives her a gentle rub, nothing that would make it look overstepping, but it still affects the woman. His touch seems to be blessed with the ability to stir things up inside women.

Adam immediately notices Hazelʼs heartbeat rising as her breasts are pressed against his body. Adam smirks. His eyes meet Julia, who is staring at him.

She frowns, wondering why Adam is smirking.

Hazel, on the other hand, is taken by surprise as she feels Adamʼs hand on her bare back. The hugʼs very normal, something she has experienced many times.

A hand on her back is nothing out of the ordinary, so why did Adamʼs touch just send electricity running through her entire body?

With her face next to his neck, she gets a whiff of his scent. It smells addictive, itʼs arousing. Hazel immediately realizes what is happening. She is getting turned on by Adam.

But she is not surprised. Hazel swings both ways. Just because her relationship with her half sister has reignited doesnʼt mean she canʼt find other people attractive.

She thought Adam was incredibly handsome the very first time she laid her eyes on him, but now that she feels his touch and smells his scent, her body is naturally reacting to a strong male presence.

Itʼs simple biology. Her body is telling her to get bred by the man before her.

Hazel smirks as she tries to calm her beating heart. She is mentally strong enough to keep her desires in check.

She pulls away from the hug and smiles at Adam once again.

”Come join us. I want to get to know my nephew a little better,” Hazel says.

”Sure... I would love to get to know my aunt a little better, too,” Adam says with a smile.

”Thatʼs great,” Hazel smiles and drags Adam to the couch, and makes him sit between her and Julia.

Julia immediately scoots away a little as Adam sits down, which doesnʼt go unnoticed by Hazel.

She gives Julia and glance, wondering why Julia has distanced herself from Adam. She looks at Adam, who just has an innocent smile on his face, seemingly unaware of what just happened.

She decides to put this matter aside for now and talk to Adam.

”So, Adam, tell me, what do you do, what do you want to do, any girlfriends. In fact, tell me everything,” Hazel asks with a curious smile.

”Isnʼt that a little much?” Adam asks as he picks up a cookie from the table before him.

”I donʼt think so. We are family, so everythingʼs on the table,” Hazel says.

Adam stops just as he is about to put the cookie in his mouth. He turns to look at Hazel. He stares into her eyes.

Hazel suddenly feels as if she is in front of an apex predator. Someone who might eat her alive if she lets him. This makes her feel a chill run down her spine.

”So will I be privy to all your secrets as well?” Adam asks. His smile deepens.

Hazel feels stuck hearing Adamʼs question.

Julia, who is sitting next to him, grabs her dress on instinct and starts gripping it hard from nervousness.

There is no way in hell she can let Adam find out about her relationship with Hazel; if he does, itʼs over for her. She will forever become his puppet.

”Donʼt you have a meeting with your father and his client?” Julia suddenly speaks, earning Adamʼs attention.

Adam turns to look at Julia. He smiles. He can see the nervousness in her face. The slight tremors in her legs. The small beads of sweat on her forehead.

ʼHow would she react if she knew I already knew and had it on video,ʼ Adam wonders.

”Thank you for reminding me, Julia. But I think I can spare a few minutes for my favorite aunt,” Adam says, looking back at Hazel.

Hazel suddenly chuckles. Hearing Adam call her his favorite aunt makes the weird feeling inside her disappear.

”I am your favorite aunt? So soon?” Hazel asks.

”Well, you are my only aunt. But even if I did have more, I think you would still be my favorite,” Adam says, cheekily.

”Oh, and why is that?” Hazel asks.

”Because you are very beautiful~” Adam says, in a flirtatious tone.

Hazelʼs eyes widen a little. His words make her heart skip a beat. She then bursts into laughter.

”Hehe, you have a very sly mouth on you, donʼt you? I bet you have broken a lot of hearts with that tongue of yours,” Hazel says.

”Well, this tongue of mine has only made the ladies fall in love with me more,” Adam says and winks.

His words leave Hazel wide-eyed once again.

”My... I canʼt with you... I feel sorry for all those girls,” Hazel says, as she begins to understand the type of guy her nephew is.

Handsome, charming, and a spicy tongue. If she were young, she knows for a fact she would be head over heels for Adam, competing against other girls for his attention.

And Adam probably has a roster of girls who are dying for his attention.
