The Genius Evolution Store

”...if he is the Lord of the Sun, I will do it!”

Axel, Troy, Auric, and Lindwurm widened their eyes in shock.

”Is there such a thing?” Troy asked.

”Of course. Just take a look at this. I got this information from my friend in the capital city. There is actually a frenzy over there regarding the gathering techniques. These gathering techniques allow you to get energy without even absorbing the materials. It’s so freaking cool.”

Axel was dumbfounded. ”Something like that exists?”

”See? You are surprised as well. Unfortunately, it’s been too late for me right now. But with the rate at which the Sun is illuminating us with his gathering techniques, I believe there will be one for me soon. It won’t be a rank 2 gathering technique, it will be a rank 3 gathering technique.” Paul nodded furiously.

”The capital city becomes chaotic because of this?” Axel couldn’t believe it. ”Seriously?”

”Yes. Just think about it. Rather than going into danger to hunt beasts, we can raise our power just by training at home. It might not matter much at our level right now, but imagine if we evolve a couple more times?”

”Ah. That will be crazy, man!” Troy nodded in agreement.

”That’s why I’m also worshiping the Sun right now. I am praying to the Sun so that he will release a gathering technique for me. In fact, the people in the capital city have been doing this, praying that the Sun will illuminate them!”

Axel was speechless. In a way, he could also understand the fanaticism. They could get stronger safely. People prayed because they wanted to return safely, so if they received the blessing from the Sun and got their gathering technique, that meant they became much safer.

An evolution master who could create such a technique was definitely someone out of their reach.

”This...” Axel scratched the back of his head.

Auric and Lindwurm were in utter shock.

Auric felt so embarrassed after hearing Paul’s energetic speech. He had always thought about creating a ’cult’ for his customers so that they would protect him in case his identity was discovered. At that time, no one could do anything to him.

However, after hearing what a ’cult member’ would say about him, he just wanted to dig a hole and hide himself.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t show any emotion. The identity was never meant to be discovered at this time.

He was trying his best to maintain his poker face.

On the other hand, Lindwurm facepalmed and shook his head. ”Who’s gonna tell him?”

Auric felt like laughing, while Lindwurm simply had a hard time reacting. ”O Lord of the Sun!”

’Pf... Stop it!’ Auric was having a hard time holding back his laugh.

Lindwurm suddenly dressed himself in a priest’s outfit. He knelt in front of Auric’s face and prayed. A light illuminated him from above.

”O Lord of the Sun. Please illuminate me with your grace. Please let your holy light show me the path to move forward.”

Auric raised his hand and smacked Lindwurm to the floor. His other hand was clenching hard, using the pain to hold his laugh.

’I’m going to kill you after this, you chubby dragon!’

”O Lord of the Sun. Please forgive your foolish devotee, I have sinned!”

Auric stomped on Lindwurm.

”Hmm?” Axel noticed Auric had been moving around, but he didn’t see anything that would make him move, making him a bit confused.

Lindwurm freed himself and said, ”Just tell him you are the Sun. Let him kneel before you and worship you!”

’I’m seriously going to kill you after this.’

Lindwurm laughed out loud while holding his stomach.

He knew that Auric definitely couldn’t tell anyone about him being the Sun. It would mess up his plan and create many big problems.

Besides, this identity was another trump card that could force the country to move in case he encountered a problem he couldn’t solve alone.

It was for this very reason that Lindwurm could tease Auric however he wanted.

”I want to hurry to the capital city right now. I want to see the cult... I mean, your fans!”

”Just look at this. I have joined the fan club.” Paul showed his chat, revealing a group with a thousand members already. They would share information or even inform others about updates.

But when Lindwurm took a look, he couldn’t help but see the rest of the insane things they were saying.

Rohas999: #day10 praying to the Sun to have my element picked for the next gathering technique.

MariaAoi: Does anyone know who the Lord of the Sun is? I want to be one of his concubines.

APersonGoingInsane: I just want to thank him for not having the need to face those jerks from the Evolution Association anymore!

”Pfft! Hahahahahaha!” Lindwurm laughed at the chat. ”They’re insane and I like them! Hahahahahahaha!”

Auric’s eyebrows twitched.

”See? What can you do about this? That’s why I would rather focus on my own problem than having to deal with him. Is he better than the Lord of the Sun?!” Paul harrumphed.

Paul made a clear point. Axel really had a hard time finding words that could convince him.

At this rate, Axel might have to apologize to Auric for failing to fulfill his promise.

Auric smiled. ”I may not be as good as the Lord of the Sun you mentioned.”

”Pfft. Comparing yourself to yourself?” Lindwurm laughed again. ”How shameless can you be to say you are not as good as yourself? Hahahaha!”

Paul, Axel, and Troy turned to Auric.

”However, I can solve your problem right now. I’m not talking about your evolution-related issue.”

”Are you playing around with me?” Paul squinted his eyes. ”Do you think there’s something wrong with me? Just because you feel inferior, it doesn’t give you the right to create a non-existent problem to strike me down!”

”I’m not kidding.” Auric shook his head. ”Let me ask you then. Have you encountered any problems when you are peeing recently? When’s the last time you masturbated?”

Axel and Troy were speechless. They didn’t know why Auric tried to piss off Paul.

Paul suddenly grabbed Auric by the collar. ”You bastard!”

Auric was shaken violently, but Axel and Troy rushed to stop Paul. At the same time, the bodyguards that Axel had hired immediately stopped Paul, trying to separate him from Auric.

Still, they were wondering what they should do next, considering the other party had been brought by their young master.

”I’m fine.” Auric waved his hand at the bodyguards.

”It’s fine. I will take care of this.” Axel gestured to the bodyguards to stand down.

”You bastard. I’m going to rip out your tongue if you say those words again!”

Auric glared at Paul and straightened clothes while saying, ”As I said, I’m not—”

Before he could finish his sentence, a badge suddenly slipped from his pocket and fell to the ground.

The clicking sound suddenly grabbed everyone’s attention, including Lindwurm.

”Ah!” Lindwurm was probably the only one who knew this was intentional.

After all, the badge that suddenly fell to the floor was none other than a silver badge.

They suddenly looked at the badge in disbelief.

”Ah!” Auric hurriedly grabbed the badge and hid it. ”This...”

”You... are a silver-grade evolution master?” Axel widened his eyes in shock.

Paul couldn’t help but stop. A bronze-grade evolution master couldn’t help him, but if the man in front of him was a silver-grade evolution master, it would be a different matter.

Auric scratched the back of his head. ”You should know what kind of problem would come if it were known...”

Axel opened his mouth, but he couldn’t really deny it. Auric would be in a lot of trouble since a 17-year-old silver-grade evolution master was something that was hard to believe.

At the same time, the Evolution Association wasn’t one that gave away a badge easily.

”What?” Paul was perplexed. ”What’s going on?”

”This...” Axel had a hard time finding words for the explanation.

”If they can keep a secret, just tell them about my age. They will understand.” Auric sighed, acting as if everything were an accident.

Axel came closer and whispered to them. ”Okay... I’m going to have you guys promise to keep this a secret. Can you guys do that? If this is revealed, our relationship or even our family relationship won’t be good anymore.”

Paul and Troy looked at each other before nodding.

”Very well. He is 17 years old.”

”What? A 1—mmf?!” Paul wanted to react, but Axel hurriedly covered his mouth with his hand. Axel placed his finger on his lip, gesturing for him to shut up. ”Ssshhh.”

Paul and Troy finally understood why Auric even hid his face. If the world knew about him being a silver-grade evolution master, it would create a lot of fuss. People might question him, or Auric could become a celebrity overnight.

”He was the man who treated my poison. In terms of skill, he is the best evolution master I have ever seen. That’s why I introduced you to him.” Axel sighed.

”...” Paul and Troy were speechless. This was the first time they had heard it.

Axel turned to Auric and asked, ”Are you really not kidding about his condition?”

”No. There’s a buildup of energy in his crotch. He’s probably either experiencing pain or having trouble relieving himself.” Auric shrugged. ”I can guess a few reasons why it can be that way, but solving this problem shouldn’t be an issue. I originally planned to let him evolve and use that energy to remove the other problem quietly without saying anything.

”Sorry, I guess I’m a little too pissed off and blurted all that out.” Auric shook his head helplessly.

Axel was speechless. That was indeed a problem that no one wanted to talk about. If Auric could get rid of it silently, he would do a thankless job, but it was also good for the patient.

However, Paul was indeed quite overbearing with his words. It was understandable that Auric made such a comment.

With Paul calming down after the badge ’incident,’ he suddenly realized what was going on.

In the past few weeks, his ’performance’ had been extremely weak. It caused a bit of a problem with his girlfriend.

”That’s...” Paul didn’t know what to say.

Axel let out a long sigh. Paul’s reaction was more than enough to prove that Auric was correct.

Axel finally figured out how to solve this problem. ”Okay, let’s do this. Since you know you are in the wrong, how about you apologize to him, Paul?”

Axel then turned to Auric. ”He is my friend. I apologize for his behavior earlier. But please... for my sake, can you help him?”

Paul was proud, but he knew what was troubling him. If he had gone to other evolution masters, those people might not have found this problem.

Besides, if it was true that Auric was the one who cured Axel, his ability was extremely high. It was no wonder he could become a silver-grade evolution master at that age.

It could be said that Auric was a peerless genius. As an evolution master, his name could be a household name soon enough.

Paul had a huge family, which was why he wasn’t exactly afraid of Axel. But his parents might have to re-evaluate him if they knew he was an enemy to such a talented evolution master.

Paul finally lowered his head. ”Sorry.”

It was just a single word, but his tone had shown that he understood the current situation.

Auric sighed. ”Well, just keep everything a secret. Then I guess that’s fine. If you have no problem with me, then I will help you with your evolution and the other problem.”

”Paul?” Axel looked at Paul as if he wanted to tell him not to show any more arrogance to him and just accept the offer.

Paul nodded. ”I understand. Please help me.”

Auric nodded in agreement. ”Okay, let’s move to the evolution chamber.”

”Tsk!” Lindwurm clicked his tongue. ”How boring! You should have told him you are the Sun! He will worship you, O Lord of the Sun!”

’I’m definitely going to kill you.’
