MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 860: Overwhelming Supremacy

Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos floated with a calm, almost transcendent expression on his face, his eyes open as he silently observed the battle unfolding across the vast expanse of the galaxy. Behind him, countless corpses were strewn like grotesque works of art, death paintings etched upon the endless canvas of the cosmos. Blood of every imaginable color, golden, crimson, obsidian black, flowed and pooled across fragmented asteroids, drifting in weightless streams with each enemy he had slain.

His rainbow-colored, clock-like eyes shifted subtly toward Anthony, Kingsley, Vega, Lucian, and Aura. Each of them was immersed in their own form of amusement, playing with their opponents almost casually, toying with them as though the battle were nothing more than an elaborate cosmic game.

More enemies surged toward Aaaninja, converging rapidly from every direction. But the moment they neared, they froze midair, Time itself halting their existence. Then, piece by piece, their bodies began to degrade, dissolving into drifting particles as Aaaninja effortlessly erased them from the flow of Time.

He had already fought a ten-winged Angel earlier, long before the chaotic gathering, and at this moment he had neither the patience nor the obligation to waste his efforts on such minor interruptions. Whenever he encountered new enemies, he simply manipulated Time to erase them entirely from existence or relied upon his sword to reduce their bodies into pulverized remains.

’The others seem to be having fun,’ he thought, his expression remaining composed. ’Perhaps I should partake as well. After all, I have been training in seclusion for quite a few years.’

As though responding to the mere suggestion of amusement, Time itself shifted. An eleven-winged Angel burst forth from the blaze of a distant star, hurtling toward Aaaninja in a brilliant trail of golden radiance. The Angel closed the distance in less than a heartbeat, its sabre already slashing toward Aaaninja’s neck with decisive, lethal finality.

But just before the blade touched him, mere centimeters from his throat, Aaaninja vanished without a sound. His figure slipped seamlessly into the folds of Time, abandoning that moment entirely. The Angel’s sabre cleaved through the space where Aaaninja’s neck had rested an instant before, its force so immense that it reduced the enormous asteroid behind him into a cloud of jagged fragments.

Aaaninja reappeared directly behind the Angel, his hand already drifting toward his waist with immediate speed as he prepared to counterattack. But the Angel was no simple foe. It darted forward, its eleven wings radiating blinding light as they expanded, propelling it away from Aaaninja’s strike with extreme velocity.

In the next instant, the Angel countered, not with its sabre, but with its wings. Its right wing extended, sharpening into a deadly point as it thrust toward Aaaninja’s eyes, the cosmic wind screaming as the wing cleaved through space like a blade of divine judgment.

Yet again, Aaaninja slipped effortlessly through Time, vanishing from his position as though reality itself had blinked. He materialized above the Angel, his foot raised high into the cosmic sky. A split second later, he drove it downward with force potent enough to obliterate a star, his target, the Angel’s neck.

The Angel, realizing it could not fully evade the devastating attack at the final moment, retracted its left wing and used it as a makeshift shield. A tidal blast of destructive power detonated outward, hurling the Angel backward like a leaf caught in a hurricane. The Angel crashed into a glowing star, skidding across its blazing surface before regaining its stance. Its golden eyes drifted downward toward its left wing, now crushed and bent grotesquely beneath the pressure of Aaaninja’s kick.

But still, the Angel showed no reaction. Within moments, its wing regenerated, the bones snapping back into place with divine efficiency, feathers restoring themselves in radiant waves as though nothing had ever happened.

’A speed type Angel,’ Aaaninja assessed instantly, deducing its specialization with effortless ease.

Before his thought could even complete, a double-edged axe tore through the air, spinning with blistering momentum as it carved through the cosmic void toward Aaaninja. He drew his blade with casual grace, lifting it to intercept the attack. The axe collided against his sword with the weight of a celestial body.

Faith energy erupted outward in concentric rings, each shockwave potent enough to pulverize planets, threatening to swallow Aaaninja entirely. But Aaaninja’s own mana surged in response, rippling outward in blue auroras that counteracted the Angelic faith energy. Golden radiance clashed with cerulean brilliance in a violent symphony of devastation.

Before the shockwave faded, another Angel appeared behind Aaaninja, the wielder of the axe. Its fist, ablaze with golden faith energy, swung toward Aaaninja like a burning comet. Aaaninja didn’t even bother turning his head. His Eyes of Genesis granted him perfect 360-degree dynamic vision. His left hand rose calmly, mana swirling around his palm as he thrust it backward to meet the incoming blow.

A thunderous impact rang out, fist meeting palm with titanic force. The explosion that erupted cracked the surface of the moon beneath them, carving a colossal crater into the celestial body. Yet neither Aaaninja nor the Angel moved an inch, both remaining unmoved in their positions, displaying the vast extent of their physical might.

’A strength type Angel... like a barbarian,’ Aaaninja noted as his eyes settled on the imposing figure before him. The brute merely stared back with disdain glimmering in its golden gaze.

The first speed type Angel seized the opportunity created by its ally, tearing forward in a bolt of golden brilliance. To it, Aaaninja appeared utterly defenseless, held back by the strength Angel and locked in place by the axe. The speed Angel crossed the distance in an imperceptible instant, its sabre cleaving toward Aaaninja’s neck with merciless precision.

But Aaaninja remained unshaken. Though his hands were occupied, that did not restrict his capability to block. Reality bent under his command as he activated another skill; Temporal Swap. Instantly, he and the speed Angel exchanged positions.

In that split moment, both Angels faltered in confusion, their senses scrambling to adjust. Aaaninja, however, acted without hesitation. His fist shot forward like a divine spear, colliding into the golden armor of the speed Angel with apocalyptic force. Time fractured around the impact point, unable to properly register the sheer violence of the blow.

With a deafening boom, the speed type Angel was launched backward like a meteor, smashing into a distant star with unimaginable impact. Its golden armor cracked and caved inward, molded into the shape of Aaaninja’s fist. The Angel vomited golden blood, its chest and abdomen burning beneath the overwhelming power of a single strike.

Aaaninja made no move to chase. Why pursue an enemy who will inevitably return to him?

The strength type Angel teleported instantly, reappearing near its double-edged axe. Without hesitation, it swung the weapon toward Aaaninja’s waist, intent on cleaving him cleanly in half. The axe cut through Aaaninja’s midsection, but produced no blood. No resistance. No sensation of flesh being torn.

’An afterimage.’

The Angel’s eyes widened as it reversed its swing abruptly, cleaving backward in anticipation, but again, it hit nothing.

”Looking for me?” Aaaninja’s calm voice echoed above.

The Angel’s eyes snapped upward. There, standing atop the glowing halo above the Angel’s skull, was Aaaninja himself, arms folded across his chest, his white hair flowing perfectly despite the cosmic winds. His sword remained sheathed, untouched. His Eyes of Genesis stared down upon the Angel with quiet, overwhelming supremacy.
