Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 439: David Has Gone Totally Insane

In the advanced ward of the Municipal First Hospital, David, who had already been put into a restraint garment, was still screaming and shouting.

Two relatives were inside watching over him, holding him down. The guy was twisting like a madman, having already pulled out the IV needle several times, causing bleeding.

The fire escape stairwell was crowded with people. The attending doctor spoke rather helplessly, ”President, the drug he took is an illegal hallucinogen. With the amount he likely consumed, we cannot use sedatives, or it could be life-threatening.”

”Then just hold him down for now!”

Dominic’s expression was extremely grim. His own arm was also bandaged, having received eight stitches.

The banquet was nearing its end, seemingly about to conclude perfectly. Who could have expected this wretched kid would charge over with a knife, stabbing fiercely toward Luis?

No one anticipated such a situation. However, Luis had been on high alert, his attention fixed on the kid ever since he stepped out the door.

When the first stab came, Luis easily dodged it, resulting in a slash wounding a middle-aged man beside him, reportedly one of his uncles.

David, acting completely insane, swung a second knife, which was also easily avoided. With the enhancement of combat expertise, while not exactly claiming to disarm an opponent bare-handed, knocking him down and taking his knife would have been simple.

Luis was no pushover either. Deliberately only dodging and not subduing him, he pulled the panicked Nina and Bella to a safer spot, then settled in with the mindset of watching a dramatic show.

As it turned out, this wretched kid had gone completely mad. Even Dominic stepped forward to stop him and got slashed. Several others were accidentally injured.

Security rushed in and finally subdued him. The injured were sent to the hospital immediately, along with the kid.

Amid the chaos, someone, no one knew who, called the police. Officers arrived, and the situation instantly became a mess. At the very least, Dominic hadn’t yet wrapped his head around it.

Another doctor approached, holding a blood test report. ”President Ben, this isn’t his first time using. His body shows clear drug tolerance. Under normal circumstances, to pursue greater stimulation, he would have increased the dosage.”

The attending doctor looked over the test report and said, ”We’ll arrange gastric lavage and induced vomiting shortly. The worry is he took so much that some hasn’t been digested or absorbed yet. Such an overdose, even if not fatal, could cause severe nerve damage or brain damage.”

”For now, we can only provide emergency treatment. Given your son’s condition, I think it’s best to contact specialists from the Fourth Hospital for a joint consultation.”

”They have more experience handling this type of situation, hallucinations caused by nerve damage.”

”I understand. My son... I’ll trouble you with him.”

Not only was Dominic’s expression ugly, but everyone present was also exchanging uneasy glances.

In Bathek City, there’s an insult that goes, ”If you’re rich, we’ll send you to the Fourth Hospital for treatment.” The Fourth Hospital is located in a remote suburban area and is the most specialized psychiatric hospital serving several nearby cities.

Generally, those sent there rarely have a chance of recovery. Needing to invite experts from there indicated a very serious condition.

Indeed, what David did that evening, including his current screaming and shouting, was particularly severe.

Everyone’s expressions were grave, though some were secretly gloating inside, especially those children of Dominic born to his minor wives.

”You all stay here and watch him for now. I’ll go downstairs.”

Dominic’s troubles were far from simple; it wasn’t just about his son suddenly going mad.

Instructing a few relatives to remain, he went downstairs with a dark expression, arriving at the parking lot outside the outpatient department. Those accidentally injured only suffered superficial wounds; after bandaging, a bit of compensation and an apology sent them on their way.

The real trouble was still to come. Everyone at Table 3 had undergone a check-up. Even if not stabbed, they feared possible blunt injuries or the like from the chaos.

Fortunately, no one else was injured. At the moment, Hail and several responsible persons from the City Chamber of Commerce were present, discussing the matter with serious expressions.

What was supposed to be a face-giving good deed, nearly perfectly concluded, had ended in such a major farce. Naturally, everyone was furious inside.

Hail happened to receive a phone call. His expression remained neutral as he said, ”Okay, understood. That explains it then.”

Dominic, like a prisoner awaiting judgment, listlessly approached Hail and weakly greeted him, ”Secretary Hail.”

The several responsible persons from the City Chamber of Commerce, older entrepreneurs with higher seniority and standing than him, those highly respected old-timers, all frowned at him.

”They’re still waiting for the check-up results. After all, they suffered a shock. Let’s find a quiet place so we don’t disturb the hospital’s order.”

After saying this, Hail took the lead walking ahead. No one dared speak, all following behind him.

The rear fire exit was a quiet spot. Hail politely passed around cigarettes, and everyone respectfully accepted them.

But after accepting, everyone felt uneasy inside: Does Secretary Hail even smoke?

How come we’ve never heard of it or seen it before?

Hail lit a cigarette himself, took a deep drag, and then said, ”President Ben, it was probably a guest at the scene who called the police. Your son’s statement was so bizarre. Do you yourself think it’s possible?”

”This... he was just raving mad.”

Dominic felt like crying but had no tears.

His son David had wielded a knife and injured people at the scene. When questioned about the reason after being restrained, his son’s furious curses left everyone stunned.

His son claimed that Luis had run into the lounge stark naked, first beat him up and tied him, then raped his girlfriend right in front of him, and even did things to her asshole... First, the idea of running into the lounge stark naked... just hearing it made one’s brain explode. Did he mean running in while stripping along the way?

It should be noted that the area outside the venue was full of people. There were hostesses at the lounge entrance, and staff were coming and going through the connecting corridor to the kitchen, no one saw him running around naked.

Secondly, Luis had been sitting there the whole time. He was seated right next to Bella, with only one seat between him and Dominic. Hail had also glanced over in their direction from time to time.

Dominic didn’t think he had senile dementia, nor were his eyes so dim with age that he’d miss Luis leaving right under his nose.

Moreover, those tables were arranged close for easy conversation. It wasn’t just Dominic who could vouch for this; other members of the Taiga family also saw Luis sitting there, flesh and blood, unmoving.

As they spoke, Luis, having finished his check-up, also came over and shamelessly greeted them, ”Yo, everyone’s here. I came to satisfy my nicotine craving too.”

Hail immediately offered him a cigarette and even lit it for him. This gesture was silently noted by everyone present.
