Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 422: Enemies Crossing Paths

According to the grapevine, it was because the asset liquidation of Tiger Real Estate had been misrepresented in the outside world as a bankruptcy liquidation.

The Taiga and Leon families had a falling out. If they actually went bankrupt, it would screw over a huge crowd of people, not just the shareholders but also the suppliers, the contractors, the construction firms.

The chain reaction was so massive it stirred up widespread panic. The city chamber of commerce stepped in to host this charity banquet precisely to steady people’s nerves.

After all, Tiger Real Estate’s failed IPO had already drawn plenty of criticism. If it went into bankruptcy liquidation, who knows how many people would jump off buildings. So this time, the Taiga and Leon families actually joined forces to make the scale of this event huge.

The venue was set at the Leon family’s Gestor Palace Ocean Hotel. Because of the official involvement, many of the city’s wealthy merchants would show up to lend their support.

”Oh, I see. So, Sister, are you going?”

”Are you kidding me? A commoner like me doesn’t have the qualifications to attend.”

Blanche cooed playfully, ”There will be plenty of young, pretty girls going. As for me, forget it. I don’t want to go and make a fool of myself.”

Blanche actually took the chance to promote some high-end cosmetics, along with some knockoff A-grade bags and jewelry, so she was quite informed about the market trends.

The banquet did require invitations. VIPs holding invitations would be assigned corresponding seats in the best areas, which served as a symbol of status.

But that venue was especially large, with roughly sixty percent of the space being a general admission area. You could enter and join the crowd even without an invitation.

Young girls went to hook a wealthy bachelor, pretty boys thought about getting a taste of the easy life, serious people wanted to expand their networks, build connections, hunt for business opportunities, whatever. In any case, it was definitely going to be lively.

As dusk fell, a long line formed at the entrance of the Gestor Palace Ocean Hotel, forcing them to borrow the adjacent sports ground for parking.

Only luxury cars could park inside the hotel itself. Those worth two or three hundred thousand dollars would feel ashamed to even show up here.

”I’m at the hotel entrance. Where are you?”

Daniel, dressed impeccably in a suit, was also waiting at the hotel entrance. Putting other matters aside, the elder brother-in-law certainly had the looks. With a little grooming, his slicked hair and powdered face gave him the air of a young master, quite the imposing presence.

Nina had also given him an invitation. Daniel, thinking he was about to take over the bar soon, immediately printed business cards, planning to come here and drum up some business.

After all, those who could come tonight, the ones with invitations were either rich or noble. Those without were the social butterfly types, which still counted as the target demographic.

Luis and the radiantly beautiful Nancy arrived fashionably late. Even though this place was swarming with beauties, the appearance of the fairy-like sister-in-law still garnered a wave of attention. Every passing man couldn’t help but turn his head for a look.

After a slight hesitation, she still stepped forward and linked her arm through Daniel’s. After all, he was her actual husband.

However, there was one detail that pleased Luis greatly. She maintained a slight distance, unlike when she was with him, pressing her breasts directly against his arm.

Luis didn’t feel jealous in the slightest, because what was even more interesting was Daniel’s expression.

When his wife, who outshone all others in beauty, clung to him, he showed not a single trace of pride. Instead, his whole body gave a shudder, his expression stiffening oddly for a moment.

It seemed that since taking over that gay bar, the progress on his persona tag had been rapid. Looked like he needed to find a chance to test his limits.

”Luis, Nina is waiting for you in lounge number three.”

After Daniel said this, he led Nancy inside. He also knew some of the spoiled young scions at this kind of event, given that his father held a rather high official position. Nancy probably also had quite a few classmates she knew who had come.

Luis entered the banquet venue with his invitation. The place was vast. In front of the stage were over twenty exquisitely arranged tables. Holding an invitation was required to enter this area, a symbol of status.

The outside was the guest area, to put it bluntly, the general admission area, offering complimentary alcoholic drinks, beverages, and a self-service spread of fruits and pastries. You had to admit, from the decor, it looked quite opulent.

The guests were also all dressed to the nines. On the surface, it still seemed very high.

”You son of a bitch.”

At the entrance to the VIP section, while invitations were being checked, a classic case of enemies crossing paths played out.

Playboy David glared at Luis with pure hatred. Even though his father, Dominic, had issued a stern warning, Young Master David was at that youthful, impulsive age. Seeing his enemy, his eyes naturally turned bloodshot with rage.

What surprised Luis was that the female companion he had brought was Deewa. With a little styling, her radiant beauty was no less than that of the fairy-like sister-in-law. Truly worthy of being the school beauty who shared her fame.

”My little grandson, you’re out and about.”

Luis didn’t hold back either, saying with a chuckle, ”Your ass didn’t get spanked swollen by your dad, did it?”

”You...”

Just as David was about to speak, another middle-aged man noticed the trouble and came over to pull him back, saying, ”Our Taiga family is the host. Don’t cause trouble at our own banquet.”

”Your father is still entertaining distinguished guests. If a commotion breaks out here...”

Hearing this, David seemed to deflate a little, still looking unwilling, but he shot Luis a vicious glare and went in first.

”Kid, don’t fall into my hands, or you’ll get what’s coming to you.”

Deewa, however, appeared utterly enchanting. As she left, she even turned her head to give Luis a bewitching glance. Honestly, with a look like that, most men would have their souls hooked.

”This slut...”

Luis couldn’t be bothered with that punk. After his invitation was checked, he entered the venue. A pretty hostess immediately led him to lounge number three and knocked on the door.

”Come in.”

As soon as Luis walked in, the hostess closed the door behind him. A black evening gown outlined her exquisite figure. With just a bit of styling, she could already be considered a stunning, national-level beauty.

That aura of hers, both aloof and noble, was absolutely forbidding to strangers. Undeniably, she was a jaw-droppingly gorgeous seductress, yet somehow, she miraculously failed to stir any interest in Luis.

Even though she was one of the mission targets...

The first mission target, someone he had to address as the boss’s wife, a peerless beauty seemingly untouched by the mortal world.

Bella gave a charming smile, radiating sensuality and allure, and asked in a soft, coquettish tone, ”Well? It seems you aren’t particularly surprised.”
