Chapter 871 - Expensive Fruits

After Kyle finished celebrating his advancement, he focused on his future plan.

ʼWhether they accept or not, I still have to wait for my friends to become Legendary Crushers. The Lord and I agreed that the deadline is 2,000 years. 100 years have already passed since then, leaving 1,900 years. I still have a bit more than 1,900 years of longevity left. Obviously, I canʼt just waste it.ʼ

Kyle lifted his right hand, and in the next moment, a black hole appeared on top of it.

ʼI still need to improve this. Itʼs been a while since Iʼve had an External Complex Law. My last one was the Law of Meteor, and Iʼve never truly made use of it. In order to make full use of my External Complex Law, I need to refine it further. I need to create its own Fragments, or in other words, I need to create techniques or something similar.ʼ

ʼAs it stands right now, my Law of Black Hole would be weaker than an Infused Level Five Complex Law, but if I improve it a bit, it will be stronger. This will take some time.ʼ

At that point, Kyle thought about the last Aspect of Power that didnʼt have an Infused Complex Law. ʼI can also create an Infused Law of Soul. The question is just, how hard should I go?ʼ

ʼMy Complex Law of Mind is the weakest. The Law of Meteor is just a Level Two Law by itself. My Core Spark improved it to Level 2.5, but after infusing it, its level didnʼt change. That means my Infused Law of Mind is just a Level 2.5 Law.ʼ

ʼMy Complex Law of Body is my second weakest. Itʼs a Level 3.5 Law. My Complex Law of Center is my strongest as a Level Four Law.ʼ

ʼHow much time do I have, and how strong can I make my Complex Law of Soul?ʼ

Kyle scratched the back of his head. ʼActually, I think that I should prioritize my Complex Law of Soul. My Law of Black Hole is already my strongest Law. Itʼs already super useful. I think itʼs better to fill an empty slot instead of improving a slot.ʼ

ʼI think itʼs best if I finish my Complex Law of Soul first, and however much time remains will be how long I will work on my techniques.ʼ

ʼSounds like a plan,ʼ he thought with a smile. ʼNow, how hard do I want to go? Do I only go with gravity and space, or should I also try including time? I think I should also look at time for about 200 years. I should also comprehend the general Fragments of Gravity for a hundred years. After that, I will create my Complex Soul Law and see how things go.ʼ

Kyle took out his new Communicator and looked at his Contribution Points. ”The Lord said that he will essentially sponsor our entire trip. After all, weʼre going to a world he suggested, and if we succeed, we will tell the Cult everything about this world. That means I can spend all of my Contribution Points.”

Kyle looked at the shop in the Communicator, but he couldnʼt find any Gravity or Time Comprehension Fruits.

”Excuse me, Lord,” Kyle said out loud. ”I canʼt buy Gravity or Time Comprehension Fruits with my Contribution Points. Can I exchange them somehow?”

Since he was directly on Orchis, Kyle didnʼt need to use the Blessing to talk with the Lord.

”How many do you need?” the Lordʼs voice said in Kyleʼs mind.

”Two Gravity Comprehension Fruits and four Time Comprehension Fruits. Is that possible?” Kyle asked.

”The plants, which grow these fruits, are not endemic to the Hell Dimension,” the Lord explained. ”The vast majority of them are in the Immortal Dimension, but there are also some in the Beast Dimension. Only Lower and Higher Supreme Organizations have access to them.”

Kyleʼs brows rose. ʼBrah, I didnʼt know they were THAT valuable!ʼ

”We donʼt have access to these plants. The only Comprehension Fruits we can get are from slain enemies. You have contributed a lot, but technically, you can only afford five of the six fruits you want.”

Kyle sighed. ”Yeah, I can see why theyʼre that expensive. Itʼs fine, you can drop one-”

Ding!

Six fruits appeared in front of Kyle, and his brows rose.

”Iʼll gift you one,” the Lord said. ”I have high hopes for you, and itʼs also in the Cultʼs interest that you succeed. However, your Contribution Points are now at zero. If you want any more services, you need to earn Contribution Points or ask your friend.”

Kyle took a deep breath. The fact that he received one fruit for free made him feel a bit uncomfortable. The more the Cult gave him, the more he felt like he had to pay them back.

ʼJust treat it as an apology gift for the shitty way they recruited you,ʼ he thought.

”Thank you. I will not waste them,” Kyle said.

”Good,” the Lord commented.

Kyle looked at the six fruits in front of him.

ʼI should start with the Gravity Comprehension Fruits. Luckily, I already know quite a bit about Specialized Gravity. At least, when it comes to Specialized Gravity relating to Wind, Fire, and Metal Energy, I still need the other Elements. Then, thereʼs also General Gravity. I think that one works on Space and Time Energy. Although if I remember correctly, thereʼs no Minor Fragment of General Gravity. Thereʼs only a Major Fragment, and thatʼs as hard to comprehend as a Level Six Law.ʼ

ʼWell, Iʼm just going to finish the specialized variant before focusing on just random things. Iʼll find something to look at and understand.ʼ

Kyle opened his mouth and threw one of the two Gravity Comprehension Fruits into his maw. One fruit worked for about 50 years.

As soon as the fruit entered his stomach, Kyleʼs perception changed. He had already been able to see and interact with Gravity Energy due to his Level Four Laws, but he had never seen it with such clarity.

After experimenting for just a couple of hours, Kyle got the gist of Gravity Energy. Creating it was not difficult anymore.

Finally, he started to experiment with the Gravity Energy. To help with his comprehension, he also took out his Artificial Gravity Core. Luckily, he hadnʼt sold that one to the Grand Exchange.

ʼWait a minute. I think I should also look at my Law of Black Hole. I mean, I created it by pushing all the aspects of my Level Four Laws towards gravity. By looking at Gravity Energy and my Law, I can probably already find ways to manipulate it and create techniques.ʼ

Kyle smirked. ʼSmart brain! You did good today!ʼ

The Artificial Gravity Core appeared beside Kyle. After creating a couple of Formation Arrays, Kyle also summoned a black hole beside him.

As he looked around, he saw the Gravity Energy flowing through the surroundings. Most of it moved towards the Artificial Gravity Core. A big chunk moved towards the Black Hole, and only a little moved towards Orchisʼ Natural Gravity Core.

The gravity inside Kyleʼs Formation Arrays was thrown into chaos, and that was exactly what he wanted.

The more the Gravity Energy moved and transformed, the more facets he could see.
