Chapter 657 Rarity Hunter

”Now that we have dealt with that issue,” the woman said, ”I should introduce myself. Iʼm Third Valkyrie, and Iʼm a True Crusher. I used to be a Rarity Hunter like you, and I will introduce the job to you. Iʼm also responsible for creating the individual teams, but we will not be in a lot of contact in the future. While I create the teams, I donʼt manage them.”

The team listened to Third Valkyrie.

”How much do you know about the creation of Planets?” she asked.

”I know that they appear when an old one gets destroyed and that their Dimensions arenʼt stable yet,” Kyle said.

”So, not much,” Third Valkyrie commented.

”Yep,” Kyle nodded.

”Energy attracts Energy,” Third Valkyrie said. ”The more Energy there is, the more Energy it attracts. Thatʼs one of the reasons why people of higher Realms absorb more Energy.”

”Everything is made of Energy. Matter, heat, movement, Souls, everything. When someone uses the Law of Fire to create an attack, they are using their Energy and turn it into Fire Energy and/or heat. I wonʼt go too much into the details.”

”What happens to the created heat? Does it just keep existing? In the vast majority of cases, no. Over time, the heat cools down. The Energy that comprises heat turns back into neutral Energy or other forms of Energy.”

”When enough Energy gathers in the space between Planets, it pulls together. When it reaches a certain density, it transforms into unstable matter. This kind of unstable matter rapidly absorbs Energy to create more of itself until it reaches a certain equilibrium, after which it stops growing rapidly.”

”In terms of time, we are talking about minutes here. Sometimes even seconds.”

Kyleʼs eyes widened.

He had expected it to be much slower. Didnʼt space need forever to do anything?

”Wait,” Kyle said. ”So, one minute, thereʼs nothing there, and in the next one, thereʼs an entire Planet?”

”Thatʼs what Iʼve just said, yes,” Third Valkyrie commented dryly.

”What does that look like?” Kyle asked.

”First, thereʼs a big wave of Energy. Every Transcendent and stronger can feel the wave on the surrounding planets. Afterwards, it becomes very bright for some seconds. Then, you see a rapidly growing ball. Thatʼs it,” Third Valkyrie explained. ”This question isnʼt relevant to your job. I want to quickly finish this appointment.”

”Sure,” Kyle said, taking note of Third Valkyrieʼs impatience.

”After the Planet stopped growing, it copies itself to all Dimensions,” she said.

”Copies? ” Kyle asked.

”The Energy equilibrium isnʼt the same in every Dimension,” she said, trying her best not to sound annoyed by Kyleʼs questions. ”When one Planet is created, the same spots in the other Dimensions may not even have a thousandth of the Energy this spot has.”

”This means the same spots in the other Dimensions have to gather all the Energy to create a Planet of their own, and the kind of Energy also has to be identical.”

”This takes about one hour. One hour after the first Planet has been created, all the other Planets should also be done. During this process, the borders between Dimensions are very thin and fragile. When all seven Planets have been created, the borders solidify again.”

”Your job will take place during this hour.”

”Why?” Kyle asked. ”Whatʼs there to gain? Canʼt we also just grab stuff after the Planet has been made?”

”Volume,” Third Valkyrie answered. ”The Dimensions are essentially merged during that process. The first Planet is the blueprint, and the others copy. So, if you grab a cube of ore from the first Planet, the other six will adapt.”

”If another Planet has already been created, the ore from that Planet will go to the same place as the cube of ore you have. Your Soul Space is technically a separate Dimension. When you put one cube of ore into your Soul Space, six other cubes will also appear in it.”

”Thatʼs assuming the Planets have been made already. If they have not been made yet, you will simply feel a force that tries to enter your Soul Space. That force is the Energy of the unfinished Planets trying to form the cube of ore in your Soul Space. Either way, you receive seven times the resources.”

Kyle and Swamp Dragon were quite surprised.

ʼThatʼs crazy!ʼ Kyle thought. ʼIf I grab the rarest shit of a Planet, I get that same thing seven times! Even more, the value of the Planet only diminishes by a seventh when compared to what I got. As far as I know, harvesting other Dimensions is extremely costly. You need someone in the Tenth Realm to do that, and those people probably donʼt want to harvest random Planets that are several Realms weaker than them.ʼ

”Naturally,” Third Valkyrie continued, ”there is more to Planet creation, which is a subcategory of Stellar Genesis, but I wonʼt go too much into the details.”

”Whatʼs important to note is that Planets are not the only things that can appear in space. Moons and Stars can also appear. ”

”Moons are not very different from Planets when it comes to your job. You just take as much of their unique resources as you can manage,” she said.

”And Stars?” Kyle asked.

”You will never see the creation of one,” she said. ”They still get created, but your Realm is too low to achieve anything of note. If you were to go to one, you would be busy trying not to die from their Elemental powers. Additionally, Elementals are very attracted by Stars. In most cases, a powerful Elemental will reach the new Star, leading to a Dimensional Collapse, and that will happen before you even get there.”

”Of course, if a powerful Elemental were to reach the Star, it would consume the Star within an instant, which would also consume all its copies. For Stars, we have Star Defenders who specialize in dealing with Elementals, but thatʼs beyond your Realm. Even my Realm is too low.”

”You will only be dealing with Planets and Moons.”

”What are the dangers?” Swamp Dragon asked.

”I was getting to that,” Third Valkyrie said with slight annoyance.

”First, itʼs important to take note of the Dimension of origin,” she explained. ”Your job will be very different based on which Dimension created the original Planet.”

”If the original Planet appears in our Dimension, you are in luck. If youʼre fast, you can get several minutes of uninterrupted harvesting before it gets dangerous. About 30% of Planets and Moons appear in the Main Dimension first.”

”30%?” Kyle asked in surprise.

”Energy distribution,” Third Valkyrie said. ”The more Energy moves, the more it travels through space and gathers. Life brings movement into Energy. The Hell Dimension is almost empty. Less than 1% of stellar objects originate from there.”

”The Hero Dimension is not as empty, but when compared to the Main Dimension, Beast Dimension, and Elemental Dimension, it might as well be empty. The Hero Dimension generally only creates Planets when an Immortal decides to do something there.”

”Based on the involvement of an Immortal in the Hero Dimension, during a year, the Hero Dimension might be responsible for anything between 1% and 95% of every new stellar object.”

Kyle took a deep breath.

ʼBrah, sure enough, when an Immortal does stuff, the world changes.ʼ
