Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 454 Grand Ocean

The Holy King dug further into the ground, following the subtle signs of collapsed stone.

ʼThey dug quite far down,ʼ he thought as he kept digging.

When he reached a depth of 50 kilometers, his brows rose in surprise.

He had never been this far underground.

He wondered how far they had dug.

When he found the layer of Metal-Earth Stone, he started to get curious.

Why hadnʼt he dug down just to look at what was down below?

It was kind of interesting.

After reaching a depth of 70 kilometers, he stopped as he suddenly uncovered a black stream of mysterious material.

What was that?

Out of interest, he entered.

An incredible force immediately attacked his body, but his body was powerful enough to resist the force with some help from his Ether.

He descended further and further.

After another 30 kilometers, he stopped.

The force became stronger and stronger the deeper he went, and at this depth, not even he could remain for long.

As he looked around, he came up with a theory of how the two fugitives had escaped, and he didnʼt like that theory one bit.

He surfaced again and called the other two Transcendents.

They arrived quickly.

When the Imperial Advisor saw the strange force, he was surprised.

What was this?!

”What is that?” he asked.

Emperor Winterfire just looked at the Anti-Wind as if it werenʼt a big deal. ”Thatʼs the World Current,” he said. ”It is the wind equivalent of Skysand and Winterfire.”

The two looked at the emperor with surprise. ”You know what this is?”

Emperor Winterfire nodded. ”Iʼve found it before, but I donʼt have a Wind Affinity.”

The Holy King furrowed his brows. ”Why did you never tell me?”

”You were not my ally until recently,” Emperor Winterfire said. ”Besides, you also do not have a Wind Affinity. What use is this knowledge to you? Additionally, if you are not careful, the World Current might escape through a hole you have dug and spread across the world.”

”If youʼre careless and release the World Current, the third level of Karmic Punishment might be the least of your problems.”

The two others looked at the Anti-Wind with shock.

Right, what if this thing went out of control and started streaming into the world?!

They would be killing millions of people!

”Itʼs clear that the two fugitives also found the World Current,” Emperor Winterfire said. ”They have entered and fled.”

”They left almost three days ago, and they could be almost anywhere in the world. ”

The Imperial Advisor put his hand into the Anti-Wind and felt his skin getting damaged.

His body was not as powerful as the Holy Kingʼs body.

”Can they truly escape through the World Current?” the Imperial Advisor asked. ”It is even damaging my body.”

”They have killed the Second Advisor,” Emperor Winterfire said. ”Besides, the one following Sebastian has a Metal Affinity and has comprehended the Law of Metal. Creating armor that can resist the World Current should be easy for him.”

The Imperial Advisor furrowed his brows as he looked at the Anti-Wind. ”Should we follow the current? It seems to lead to the Grand Ocean. Maybe, we can find them like that.”

Emperor Winterfire shook his head. ”If they truly entered the Grand Ocean from such a depth, they are almost certainly dead.”

The Imperial Advisor blinked a couple of times in surprise. ”Why?”

”Thereʼs a good reason why we never venture deep into the ocean,” the Holy King said. ”There are many Nature Gods in the depths of the Grand Ocean.”

”We estimate that there are over a hundred.”

”Over a hundred?!” the Imperial Advisor exclaimed in shock.

Emperor Winterfire nodded. ”I am the emperor of the human world, but I canʼt claim to be the emperor of the beast world as well.”

”I have once battled a powerful Nature God in the Grand Ocean. After I won, I saw another Nature God arrive to consume the corpse.”

”During its meal, that Nature God was consumed by another Nature God. That new Nature God was more powerful than me.”

”Do not dare to venture into the Grand Ocean. It is a foolʼs desire,” Emperor Winterfire said.

”There is a good reason why the Fathom Octopus stays in its lake instead of entering the Grand Ocean.”

Emperor Winterfire looked back at the Anti-Wind. ”I do not believe that these two are foolish enough to enter the Grand Ocean from such a depth. Most likely, they continued until they reached a landmass.”

”They can be anywhere in the world at this moment.”

The Holy King looked at Emperor Winterfire. ”How should we proceed?”

”We wait,” Emperor Winterfire said. ”They need an Ether Essence to become a danger to us. When they attempt to reach the next Realm, we will feel their advance. At that point, we just have to kill them.”

”Keep watch over all the Ether Essences in the world. We control all but two Ether Essences. They canʼt choose either of the two Ether Essences we donʼt control. One belongs to Silvester, while the other belongs to the Twilight Duchess. If they choose the one belonging to Silvester, we will feel their advance and declare war. If they choose the one belonging to the Twilight Duchess, they will die.”

”As you command,” the two of them said.

After that, the three of them left.

Yet, before they completely left, Emperor Winterfire glanced at the Anti-Wind with narrowed eyes.

This had been close.

His two allies had almost found out the true use of the World Current.

The creation of Anti-Elements.

Naturally, Emperor Winterfire knew the Anti-Windʼs true use. After all, he had once ventured deep into the channel of Winterfire and saw what was happening.

The Holy King and the Imperial Advisor were stuck at their current level.

The Holy King had advanced with the most powerful Law of Light that could be created.

As a new Transcendent, he had already reached Emperor Winterfireʼs power.

When Emperor Winterfire broke through, he had used the normal Law of Fire, but he managed to advance in his Realm by comprehending parts of Winterfire.

The Holy King couldnʼt comprehend anything anymore.

He had already comprehended everything there was to comprehend about light, and Anti-Light didnʼt exist.

This meant that the Holy King would never overtake Emperor Winterfire in power.

But if the Holy King found out that he could synthesize Anti-Light…

That would be very bad for Emperor Winterfire.

After the three of them left, they gave their commands.

Powerful people were stationed near all the Ether Essences, and they had orders to continually confirm their positions and status.

They wouldnʼt allow anyone to consume the Ether Essences.
