[Is this cruel?] A faint smile played upon Yu Zi Yu’s lips at this thought. He really did not care much about it at this point. After all, the starry sky was a place of ultimate cruelty. Leaving a path for survival like this was already an act of mercy in his eyes.

Take the Blood Demon Clan under Bull Demon’s control as an example. Ruthlessness was ingrained in their very bones. They often exterminated entire Clans at the slightest provocation, and some even practiced cultivation using the lives of others.

Yu Zi Yu dismissed these thoughts. [Survival of the fittest. Though the Blood Demon Clan is brutal, their existence has its own justification. Why should I interfere with their way of life?]

Moreover, the Blood Demon Clan was not truly loyal to Bull Demon or the Society of Demons and Fiends. They had merely submitted temporarily due to being outmatched.

Even Bull Demon himself was well aware of this.

However, such was the way of the Demons: the strong were right.

For Bull Demon and the others, the solution was not to worry about betrayal but to ensure they always remained stronger than the Blood Demon Clan.

As long as they stayed stronger, the Blood Demon Clan would not dare rebel.

In this regard, the Demon Clan was more straightforward than others, which made them more trustworthy in some ways.

Even Yu Zi Yu appreciated this aspect of them.

It was far better than dealing with those hypocritical races that feigned submission.

“There’s no need to dwell on this…” A faint smile began to play on Yu Zi Yu’s lips. His growing strength also allowed him a rare moment of ease, and he began to consider the survival strategies between him and Myriad Races.

Unfortunately, he did not have much time to delve deeply into such matters.

With a helpless shake of his head, Yu Zi Yu took a step forward.

*Boooom…* A thunderous roar erupted as Yu Zi Yu, with a single step, exited the Secret Realm, seemingly crossing time and space.

In the next moment, a roar akin to crashing waves reverberated through the Realm of Void, “Welcome back Master…”

What greeted Yu Zi Yu’s eyes were countless figures bowing in reverence.

Not many—just the 200,000-strong army stationed in the Realm of Void, along with Bull Demon, Thorns, and five other Tier-5 True Gods.

As for White Tiger and Tundra, they were likely still recovering from their injuries.

“You’ve all worked hard…” Meeting their fiery gazes, Yu Zi Yu waved his hand, summoning a Rain of Vitality that blanketed half of the Realm of Void.

These individuals had loyally guarded him during his seclusion and comprehension. Naturally, he would reward them.

After bestowing the Rain of Vitality, Yu Zi Yu wasted no time. With a wave of his hand, he brought Bull Demon, Thorns, and the others to the deepest part of the Realm of Life.

“How are things?” Once again rooted as a Colossal Tree in the Realm of Life’s depths, Yu Zi Yu asked with genuine interest.

“Reporting to Master, White Tiger and Tundra are recovering well. They’re still recuperating, but no major issues remain. The Blood Demon Clan continues its steady development. As for everything else, it’s much the same as before.”

“Mhmm.” Nodding slightly his acknowledgment, Yu Zi Yu followed up with another question, “What about the tens of millions of residents of the Heavenly Court’s Lesser Secret Realm? How have you managed them?”

“I’ve driven them all to the Realm of Earth and built several cities for them…”

Listening to Bull Demon’s report, Yu Zi Yu praised him, “Well done.”

But then, Yu Zi Yu shifted the conversation, issuing new orders, “Brand all these Heavenly Court’s citizens From now on, they will serve as slaves. If they work in the Nine Realms for twenty years, they may have their branding removed.”

Hearing this, a trace of confusion appeared on Bull Demon’s face. “Master, why are you letting them live?”

“Wiping out tens of millions of lives would disrupt the balance of Heaven. At the same time, keeping them idle is unwise.” Yu Zi Yu explained with a faint smile. “Branding them as slaves and putting them to work for the Nine Realms is a better solution.”

He chuckled as he continued, “After all, the Nine Realms is vast enough to keep them busy with construction for a long time.”

“That’s true,” Bull Demon agreed with a slight nod.

While tens of millions might sound like a lot, in reality, it was merely equivalent to the population of a few cities on Earth. This number alone would hardly be sufficient for completing the construction of the Nine Realms, a task of immense complexity.

Moreover, the construction would not just involve physical labor; it would likely require expertise in Formations, Energy Flow, and other esoteric arts.

From that perspective, having a ready supply of laborers like this was indeed a stroke of fortune.

Pondering further, Bull Demon proposed, “Master, should I gather some members of the Blood Demon Clan to assist in building the Nine Realms?”

“No need.” Waving a branch, Yu Zi Yu promptly declined.

The tens of millions of slaves of the Heavenly Court would suffice. He did not want to involve more beings who might compete for the Spiritual Energy of his Nine Realms.

…

At that moment, as if struck by an idea, Yu Zi Yu released several leaves into the air.

*Swish, swish, swish…* The sound of something cutting through the air accompanied seven palm-sized leaves as they floated in front of Bull Demon, Thorns, Golden Behemoth, and others.

“These are seven Minor Divine Abilities I discovered deep within the Heavenly Court’s Secret Realm. You may attempt to cultivate them,” Yu Zi Yu offered casually.

“Thank you, Master!” The group responded in unison, their faces lighting up with excitement.

Divine Abilities, and ones found in the Secret Realm of the Heavenly Court at that. It was clear to everyone present that these Techniques were far from ordinary.

Before long, an astonished cry broke the silence.

“This is the long-lost Indestructible Vajrapani Divine Ability!” With a voice filled with joy, Golden Behemoth, now shrunken to a few meters tall thanks to the Divine Ability—Shrinking and Enlarging at Will, roared in excitement.

The Divine Ability—Indestructible Vajrapani was among the most formidable physical-strengthening techniques.

When cultivated to perfection, it granted unparalleled resilience, allowing the body to rival Divine Artifacts.

For the Behemoth Clan, known for their physical prowess, this Divine Ability was a perfect match.

It could even be said to be a match made in Heaven.

Unfortunately, this Divine Ability had long been lost. Even with the Bloodline Inheritance, Golden Behemoth had only received some words and phrases.

He really had not expected that his Master would give him such a Divine Ability.

*Gulp…* Golden Behemoth barely managed to suppress his elation. Bowing deeply, he expressed his gratitude, “Thank you, Master, for bestowing this gift. I will not disappoint your expectations.”
