“Greetings, Divine Tree,” with a loud shout, the distant Long Shao and Inferno Dragon—Haposs both bowed their heads simultaneously, their eyes filled with an indescribable respect.

Respect for the strong was in the nature of Dragons.

As for Long Shao, as someone who had earned the recognition of the Inferno Dragon—Haposs, he may not possess the most extraordinary talent, but his character was quite likable to Haposs. He felt that this Human’s personality was about 70% similar to his own and believed that he could get along with him.

This was the primary reason why Haposs willingly signed an equal contract.

Now, when Haposs revered the Divine Tree, Long Shao too was filled with reverence.

At this moment, if one looked towards the center of the firestorm, they would see a crimson figure kneeling on one knee. The red armor on the figure was on fire, with tongues of flames flickering all over it. The armor had a cold, metallic texture and exuded an inexplicable ferocity.

Even while kneeling, Long Shao, clad in armor, was radiating an imposing pressure.

This pressure was nothing but the Dragon Prestige. Though faint, it was still the purest Dragon Prestige.

Clearly, through the methods employed by Little Tenth to purify his Bloodline and the Soul Contract with Haposs, Long Shao was no longer merely Human. He was now a Dragon clad in Human skin.

“Spectacular.”

A faint praise echoed in Long Shao’s mind, before a grand scene unfolded in his consciousness.

He found himself looking at an endless Void Space, a bizarre world filled with storms and turbulence. Suddenly, a sudden brilliance brightened the Void Space. At closer look, the source of this brightness was a Tree. A tree so massive that it overshadowed the entire Void Space. It radiated an aura of sanctity and was surrounded by nine swirling vortices of different colours.

Furthermore, a greenish blue Dragon happened to be coiled around its trunk, with its head resting on the tree’s crown.

The entire sight looked majestic and otherworldly.

“What’s this?” Suppressing their inner shock, Long Shao and Haposs, both felt an astonishing Dragon Prestige pressing down upon them.

“Keep it up, and breakthrough. If you manage to reach Tier-4, there’s a spot waiting for you in our Sentinels.” As the majestic and profound voice echoed in their mind, the grand scene in Long Shao and Haposs’ minds gradually faded.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves standing in the Martial Arts Tournament Field, with countless Mutant Beasts curiously observing them.

“Was that just an illusion?” Long Shao muttered his confusion, his expression completely frozen.

At that moment, a loud roar echoed in his mind, “No, what we just saw should be the true form of the Divine Tree.”

Haposs’ voice was unusually solemn and carried a hint of respect. Compared to his previous demeanor, there was an inexplicable reverence, so strong that Long Shao could clearly feel.

*Gulp…* Gulping nervously, Long Shao frankly admitted, “So, we were observed by the Divine Tree…”

“Yes, and the Divine Tree has granted us a spot in the Sentinels.”

Long Shao nodded in agreement, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes.

Naturally, the fact that they were noticed by the Divine Tree was great news for them.

The Divine Tree was the true ruler of Misty Mountains, and to be gained his favor was akin to reaching Heaven in one step.

Although he was still unclear about what Sentinels actually was, the fact that a spot would be granted upon reaching Tier-4 already spoke for its extraordinariness.

“Let’s go. We still need to compete in a few more matches in this Martial Arts Tournament.”

“Alright, partner,” a majestic Dragon Roar echoed in his heart.

At the same time, the scales of the crimson armor covering him started shifting before a pair of red, metallic Dragon Wings extended from Long Shao’s back.

*Boooooom…* With a flap of his Dragon Wings, a wave of flames swept through the surroundings before Long Shao shot into the sky, heading straight for the center of the Martial Arts Tournament.

He had already wasted too much time. If he did not hurry, he might lose his qualification.

Besides, the tournament was a great opportunity to hone his newfound strength.

…

Meanwhile, in the depths of the Void Space, as he watched Long Shao’s departing figure, a smile appeared at the corner of Yu Zi Yu’s lips. “What a remarkable fellow.”

As he praised, Yu Zi Yu recalled the status screen he had just seen.

Even Yu Zi Yu could not help but laugh when thinking about it. [He really is a Dragon disguised in Human skin. Even his abilities are about 80-90% similar to those of a Dragon. The only difference is the Crimson Dragon Scale Armor.

Still, this is an opportunity for him to surpass Dragons. If he can cultivate properly and make full use of the Crimson Dragon Scale Armor, a Sentient Artifact, his combat power would likely exceed that of ordinary Dragons. As for whether he can surpass Little Tenth, that depended solely on him.

After all, Little Tenth, as the Tenth Great Beast, not only has extraordinary talent but also enjoyed abundant resources. In terms of combat power alone, Little Tenth us a true prodigy even among Dragons, unmatched by ordinary Dragons.]
