In fact, as Yu Zi Yu grew stronger, his understanding of cultivation grew deeper. Like now, having reached the peak of Tier-5, he had already glimpsed some secrets of Tier-7.

Hegemon, the Ruler of a Realm, was also known as the Hegemon of a Plane or the Hegemon of a World.

Unlike the current era, where Star Systems filled the vast and boundless universe, the previous era was more about the formation of individual Planes.

And transcending the bounds of the Planes was a terrifying existence that reigned over the entire Plane, a Tier-7 Powerhouse, a Hegemon.

Each Hegemon was capable of wielding an extremely terrifying power, and this power was called differently in each Hegemon. In fact, due to the influence of the Planes, the manifestation of each power was different.

Nonetheless, their Roots remained the same, and that was Dao or Principle.

Currently, the reason why Yu Zi Yu valued the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon so much was because he saw the possibility of understanding the Principle of Infinite.

The Principle of Infinite was one of the ten Supreme Principles, correlating to ‘transcending all potential, as well as possessing limitless strength.’

Once someone comprehended this Supreme Principle, and did not perish midway, he or she would inevitably possess limitless strength.

Except, this Supreme Principle was the most forbidden in the previous era.

Each of the ten Supreme Principles implies ‘transcending all potential and boundless strength’.

Each Supreme Principle could not be replicated or simulated. In simple terms, when someone managed to cross the threshold of the Supreme Principle, other powerhouses, no matter how talented or invincible, could not comprehend this Supreme Principle.

Each Supreme Principle was too powerful, powerful enough to make the Heavenly Dao fearful. Terrifying enough to make everyone feel that it should not exist in the world.

In the previous era, each Supreme Principle was said to be fundamental to the functioning of the Plane.

Anyone who comprehended them would affect the entire Plane, and even countless other Planes. Yu Zi Yu named the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon the Infinite Dragon God.

The name spoke volumes about Yu Zi Yu’s vision.

A simple explanation would be comprehending a Principle called Infinite in the body of a Dragon.

However, what exactly Yu Zi Yu envisioned was a possibility, a possibility of it growing endlessly, wielding the Principle of Infinity and absorbing endless energy from the Void Space. A growth which would ultimately transform it into a fearsome existence that would reign over the entire backside of the Universe.

And this was the real reason behind Yu Zi Yu naming it the Infinite Dragon God — Ophis.

He hoped that one day, he would get to see Ophis connecting the beginning and end, encircling the entire Void Space.

It had this possibility, even if the possibility was less than one in a billion.

Still, this possibility was worth pursuing for any powerhouse, including Yu Zi Yu.

“If successful… Tier-8 is hopeful,” murmuring, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze became increasingly deep and unspeakably profound.

That was the slowly raging flames of ambition, Yu Zi Yu’s wild ambition that was gradually surfacing. He wanted to become the most terrifying existence in the entire Universe, coexisting with the Universe, lasting through countless eras, and transforming into a true Eternal.

“But the Infinite Principle’s threshold is too high, and it can’t be forced.” Saying this, Yu Zi Yu shook his head uncontrollably.

Currently, it was still too early to mull about this. Compared to it, the mystery of the Azure Dragon could be comprehended rather quickly.

Just like the Infinite Dragon God — Ophis, the Azure Dragon also carried a Principle. And compared to Ophis’ Supreme Principle of Infinite, which was so remote that it could never be comprehended, Azure Dragon’s greatest secret was its body.

If one looked closely at the Dragon Scales covering its body, they would notice an inexplicable mystery surrounding them. They were flickering with a green glow, with a hint of vitality flowing within them.

The Azure Dragon was considered a Sacred Spirit and born sacred, because these Dragon Scales recorded the Principle of Vitality just like the Book of Heavens.

If Yu Zi Yu managed to comprehend it, then Tier-6 would not be far away, and even Tier-7 — the Realm of Hegemony was possible.

While the Vitality Principle was not a Supreme Principle, it was still powerful. It was a branch of one of the ten Supreme Principles, the Principle of Creation. As such, it was also strong and powerful, and comprehending it naturally had many benefits.

This was why Yu Zi Yu’s Azure Dragon Body was so sacred and terrifying, because every Sacred Spirit was a gift from Heaven, born to bear a Principle.

Compared to comprehending other Principles step by step, where one could not even touch the threshold, the Saint Spirits were like Books of Principles, placed before everyone.

Not only would they act as a guide but would also greatly enhance the speed of comprehension of their respective Principle.

“Azure Dragon, the Master of Wood, the Master of Vitality, a Sacred Spirit…” Yu Zi Yu’s soft voice rumbled through the Void Space as his primary root that had transformed into an Azure Dragon flickered with an intermittent green glow, seemingly in resonance with Yu Zi Yu’s words.

At the same time, an unspeakable power began circulating around Yu Zi Yu.

Visible to the naked eye, thousands of branches sprouted from Yu Zi Yu’s trunk, growing continuously. And coupled with Yu Zi Yu’s countless Willow Branches, his Willow Tree form became even more dazzling.

…

And just as Yu Zi Yu was seriously comprehending the Secret of the Azure Dragon, in a distant Void Space…

*Rooooaar…* A strange and hoarse roar rumbled through the Void Space, as a gargantuan beast, surpassing the understanding of ordinary beings, emerged in the depths of the Void Space.

Its size was beyond words, like a continent. Its purplish body was covered in sharp bone spurs, and sharp fangs were protruding out of its mouth. Its forelimbs, every time they move, tore through the void, creating turbulence. Behind it, there was a tail stretching to an unseen end, swaying left and right, creating ripples through the Void Space.

It resembled a Dinosaur, its body supported by hind legs and its forelegs raised high.

However, compared to his Dinosaur-like form, it was its eyes that were truly spine-chilling: Cold and complete white, without any pupils.

They appeared extremely cold and grim. Its gaze would send shivers down anyone’s spine.

Even Zi Lian, who had rushed from afar, couldn’t help but freeze when looking at that gaze, with a hint of caution flashing on its face.
