*Yip…* A Fox’s howl shook the entire Misty Mountains. In the astonished gazes of various Mutant Beasts, the most prestigious Great Beasts under the Divine Tree’s command in Misty Mountains gathered together.

Old First–Nine Tails, Old Second–Bull Demon, Old Third–White Tiger, Old Fourth–Sarcosuchus, Old Eighth–Tundra, Old Ninth–Brewmaster…

As for Old Fifth–Golden Ant, Old Sixth–Thorns, and Old Seventh–Titan, they were still training in Green Hills, and had not returned yet.

“Elder Sister, why did you summon us? Are we doing something big?” Even before he arrived, a Tiger Roar reverberated.

However, seeing the proud White Tiger, Nine Tails shook her head helplessly.

Ever since White Tiger had subjugated the remnants of the Five Tiger Clan, he had become incredibly arrogant. Every day, he would wander about in Misty Mountains with Blood Tiger and Humanoid Tiger, always claiming to be showing them around to let them familiarize themselves with Misty Mountains.

However, even the most discerning individuals could see that it was him blatantly flaunting… he practically wanted to plaster the word ‘flaunting’ all over himself!

However, many Great Beasts could only endure it in silence. Except for Nine Tails and Bull Demon, all the other Great Beasts had to address White Tiger as Third Brother. So, they could not voice their thoughts so easily.

“Master instructed me to lead you out for a walk,” gently replying, Nine Tails’ gaze shifted to a nearby sturdy figure wearing a straw hat, still as round as before.

But upon closer inspection, she discovered that Brewmaster’s black and white fur seemed to have gained a bit more luster, faintly shimmering with a faint glow.

“Are you about to break through?” asking, Nine Tails couldn’t help but size up Brewmaster a few more times.

Brewmaster possessed amazing Innate Talent, breaking through was a matter of time for him.

Sporting a mischievous smile, Brewmaster took a sip of wine before replying with a chuckle, “Almost, almost…”

Saying this, Brewmaster took out a stone with tiny lightning arcs shuttling around it and swallowed it in one go.

“After I’ve integrated the Lightning-Attribute Spirit Stone with my body. If I find another type of Spirit Stone, my breakthrough is guaranteed.” Speaking of this, Brewmaster was quite pleased with himself. Compared to most Mutant Beasts who saw no way to break through, he saw a path, and even found hope. The rest was just a matter of time.

“Good.” Nine Tails nodded in satisfaction.

In the current day and age, Tier-2 Transcendents were no longer the pinnacle. Only the Tier-3 Transcendents had the final say.

However, reaching Tier-3 was extremely difficult, extremely difficult indeed…

For ordinary Mutant Beasts, it was like a sky-high wall. Even in the deep sea, Tier-3 Transcendents were few in number.

This was a testament of how difficult it was to break through to the Tier-3.

Fortunately, for the Nine Great Beasts, there was still hope. Not only were the Nine Great Beasts not weaker than Humans in talent, but they got to enjoy the resources of Misty Mountains.

If they didn’t break through to Tier-3 even after all of this, then it would be really unjust and unreasonable.

In Nine Tails’ view, only when all Nine Great Beasts broke through to the Tier-3 could they truly step out of Misty Mountains and shake the world.

And that day was slowly approaching.

Not only was Nine Tails looking forward to it, but other Great Beasts were also eagerly anticipating…

“Let’s go…”

At the drop of these words, Nine Tails shot towards the outside of Misty Mountains, stepping on flames.

Seeing this, the other Great beasts also shot out one after another.

…

And shortly after the Great Beasts had left, Yu Zi Yu glanced at the approaching girl, with a Spirit Flower so beautiful that it appeared to be the embodiment of all the worldly beauty on her shoulder, and smiled.

“I leave Misty Mountains in your care.”

“You can count on me,” the Five-Color Spirit Flower, Aurora, agreed with a nod.

However, the very next moment,  Aurora interjected, as if she had thought of something, “Divine Tree, what are you going out for this time?”

“…”

Yu Zi Yu did not give an answer, the young man woven from countless rootlets under Yu Zi Yu’s tree body only sported a meaningful smile. “I’m off.”

Pursing his lips into a smile, Yu Zi Yu’s massive figure slowly descended into the ground, sinking deeper and deeper.

His departure was accompanied by rhythmic and resounding footsteps as the six Knights of Mist emerged from the depths of Misty Mountains, heading towards the direction of Shanghai in a neat and orderly run.

Wherever Divine Tree went, the Knights followed him, not to kill enemies, but to clear the path for Divine Tree and retrieve corpses.

Some corpses were invaluable, and Yu Zi Yu didn’t have time to collect them, so that task naturally fell on these Knights.

However, if someone were to see these Knights now, they would undoubtedly notice a significant difference in their attire compared to before.

They wore black scale armors, forged from the shell of a Tier-2 Transcendent Mutant Turtle. They were impervious to swords and sabers and possessed terrifying defense. Their feet were clad in black knight shoes, made from the skin of Tier-2 Titanoboa. Even the black cape fluttering behind them was stitched from the skin of Titanoboa, after it was soaked in the depths of the Spirit Pond for nearly half a year.

It could be said that China could never match this kind of attire.

But that wasn’t the most frightening part.

The most frightening part was that these Knights’ gazes were hollow and indifferent, exuding a chilling coldness that ordinary people couldn’t imagine.

Their will was incredibly firm, beyond imagination.

If in the past they hesitated to act against China, they were now the sharpest spear of Misty Mountains.

Anyone who dared to oppose Misty Mountains, not to mention China, even if they were the closest friends and families, their will would never bend.

This was the result of the long-term tempering of their spirit by Aurora.

Test after test, under the subtle psychic influence of  Aurora, they finally truly accepted Misty Mountains.

“We fight for the Mist,” as they murmured, white mist surged from an unknown place, slowly enveloping them.

By the time Mutant Beasts finally reacted, they astonishingly found the Six Knights already trailing waves of white mist behind them, trailing all the way to the horizon.

From a distance, the Six Knights had truly become Knights of Mist.

And behind them, there were intermittent beast roars.

Faintly, one could see countless humongous beasts formed from mist, shuttling back and forth within the fog.

This was the true meaning of the Knights of Mist.

The Six Knights were the vanguard of Yu Zi Yu’s Army of Mist. Wherever Yu Zi Yu went, the Six Knights followed right behind him, leading an endless stream of thick mist.

Wherever the Divine Tree went, the mist followed!

This could also put tremendous pressure invisibly on enemies.

Moreover, the white mist not only greatly weakened the enemy’s perception but also could deceive the senses. Such power, if not utilized properly, would be a waste.

Of course, that wasn’t the most important thing. The most crucial aspect was that this method of travel was truly majestic.

Clearly, there were only six people and one tree. But, it looked like a vast army, striking genuine fear in people’s hearts.
