In the heart of Misty Mountains, within North Canyon…

Lightning and thunder were still roaring. Every time it struck, it would leave devastation in its wake, even shattering the rocks in the vicinity it fell.

And just at this moment,

“Haaaaa…” a soft exclamation suddenly echoed in the canyon.

“What are these fluctuations?” mumbling, Yu Zi Yu, who was deeply immersed in cultivation, slowly awakened from his slumber.

At this moment, North Canyon happened to be shrouded in pitch-black darkness, with flashes of lightning occasionally dispelling it.

With a flash of his thought, Yu Zi Yu’s branches began to withdraw from the sky. Then, to the delighted gazes of countless Mutant Beasts, the dark clouds that had been shrouding Misty Mountains for a long time began to disperse.

With the dissipation of clouds and mist, a towering Tree that seemed to cover the sky, entered everyone’s sight.

“Greetings, Divine Tree…”

“Greetings, Master…”

Amidst a cacophony of greetings, Yu Zi Yu saw countless Mutant Beasts and even Humans cast their most respectful gazes at him.

“En” Nodding his acknowledgment, Yu Zi Yu shifted his attention to one side.

The next moment, a Giant Red Fox, with a crimson fur that resembled a cloak of flames, entered his sight. Her limbs were long and strong, adorned with a flame ring each. However, unlike before, her shoulders and the back of her neck happened to have a sharp bulge, and her fur in between these two shoulder blades appeared to be particularly lush.

Whenever her fur fluttered, it gave the impression of a red cloak draped over her body, exuding an indescribable sense of nobility.

Nine Tails, also known as the Flame Monarch, or simply Flame Queen, had reached an unimaginable level of control over fire. During the time he had not seen her, Nine Tails had grown a lot stronger.

“Master, did you break through?” Nine Tails took the initiative to ask, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

She had already reached Tier-3, yet still failed to accurately gauge Yu Zi Yu, all she got was a vague feeling.

That vague feeling was like the reflection of the Moon in water, making it difficult for her to grasp Yu Zi Yu’s realm even now.

However, she knew that the current Yu Zi Yu was fearsome, extremely so. Just his aura alone was enough to make her, a Tier-3 Transcendent, feel extremely suppressed.

Had they not been long-term companions, Nine Tails would have fled long ago.

“I’m just short of one last step,” Yu Zi Yu responded in a soft voice.

Indeed, he was just short of one last thing, and that last thing was Evolution Points. After this round of secluded cultivation, he had exhausted all his Evolution Points. Now, he was only a few million points short from reaching the final step.

However, at this moment, as if remembering something, Yu Zi Yu looked towards the direction of China, a mysterious gleam flashing in his eyes.

Originally, he was planning on using a reasonable excuse to start a massacre, but unexpectedly, he sensed a violent aura at the horizon just as he woke up.

“Nine Tails, can you tell me in detail what has happened recently?” With a smile, Yu Zi Yu took the initiative to ask.

“Of course, Master,” nodding her affirmation, Nine Tails began to narrate the invasion of Sea Creatures.

…

Since Misty Mountains were located inland, they had not been affected by the Sea Creatures disaster.

Until now, the entire Misty Mountains have maintained their previous tranquility, one might even say they were thriving.

The only unexpected event was that Qing Gang, who was far away in the Arctic Region, unexpectedly led the Polar Bear Clan back.

To accommodate the Polar Bear Clan, Little White, the White Flood Dragon, specially created an ice valley in Misty Mountains.

“So that’s how it is…” Listening to Nine Tails’ recounting, Yu Zi Yu gained some understanding of recent events on the continent. However, he did not expect that the scale of this Sea Creatures Invasion would be so massive that even terrifying Tier-3 Transcendents of deep sea would also take the stage.

However, Yu Zi Yu did not unwelcome it either. At least, this meant that he didn’t have to worry about Evolution Points.

However, the key issue that made him think was what kind of image should he present himself.

It drove him into a rare moment of contemplation.

Massacring others for Evolution Points was inevitable, but how he should present himself depended on him.

Upon hearing about the invasion of Sea Creatures, the first thought that arose in Yu Zi Yu’s heart was to change the impression he had left in the minds of Humans and even Mutant Beasts.

He had always found the name ‘Tree Monster’ extremely unpleasant to the ears, whereas ‘Divine Tree’ sounded pretty great.

However, he knew that it wouldn’t be easy to get many Humans and Mutant Beasts to willingly call him Divine Tree.

Now, a good opportunity had presented itself before him. In fact, the prime reason Yu Zi Yu wanted to do it was to increase his prestige.

Not only in the minds of Humans but also in the hearts of many Mutant Beasts. Because, after he broke through to the Tier-4, founding a Monster Kingdom was not far away.

By then, the more prestigious he was, the more powerful individuals would come to join him.

At that point, Yu Zi Yu wouldn’t need to care whether these powerful individuals were Humans or Mutant Beasts. To him, every single one of them would be nothing more than Ants. As long as they all respected him as the ‘Divine Tree,’ what harm could Humans bring?

As a ruler of a kingdom, if he didn’t even have such a tolerant heart, how could he achieve greatness?

In the past, he had some fear of Humans. But as he was about to break through, he was already powerful enough to regard Humans as ants… Naturally, there was no need to fear them anymore.

Moreover, in his opinion, Humans had unique qualities and were an indispensable race.Nowadays, in China, the impression of Yu Zi Yu, especially in the city presided by Ling Er, Flame City, was quite good.

Some even proposed to trade with Misty Mountains, starting a business.

All of this was because of Ling Er’s guidance behind the scenes.

In other words, the three major Human cities controlled by Ling Er were all Yu Zi Yu’s subjects. In addition, the forces established by the Iron Fist Tyrant, Benson, were also secretly following Misty Mountains’s lead.

Rumor had it that not too long ago, Benson even secretly visited Misty Mountains and earned a spot to bathe in their Spirit Lake.

Apart from Iron Fist Tyrant Benson, there were many other Superhumans like him.

Each of these Superhumans had signed the agreement with Misty Mountains on the sacrificial altar.

To some extent, they were allies of Misty Mountains. Such Superhumans also influenced the perception of Humans towards Misty Mountains to some extent.

[Once I break through to Tier-4, I can begin with the plan.] With that in mind, Yu Zi Yu shifted his gaze to the nearby Nine Tails, and ordered, “Nine Tails, you take a few Great Beasts still in Misty Mountains, and taking advantage of the mayhem caused by the Sea Creatures. Subdue some powerful Mutant Beasts to prepare for the future expansion of Misty Mountains.”

“Yes, Master,” Nine Tails eagerly accepted, her eyes flickering non-stop.

Faintly, a cluster of deep red flames ignited within them. They were the flames of ambition, burning brighter and brighter.

However, it wasn’t burning for herself but for her Master.

Because Nine Tails, who understood Yu Zi Yu well, deeply understood what kind of ambition and lofty aspirations lay behind his simple words.
