As the Sea Creatures poured out from the deep sea, one continent after another fell into a doomsday-like situation.

These powerful Sea Creatures displayed the meaning of the word ‘powerful’ to the fullest.

In a city in China…

As towering waves rolled in, a Giant Black Turtle, hundreds of meters long, slowly emerged from the waves.

“Thud, thud, thud…” Each step it took felt like an earthquake. Its black, shiny shell resembled an impenetrable shield, blocking countless missiles and all kinds of attacks raining down on it.

And yet, this was merely a Tier-2 Mutant Turtle.

On another side…

*Hiss…* Accompanied by a sharp hiss, a fish several meters long, sharp as a sword, flew over the waves, tearing everything apart in its path.

It was the Tier-2 Mutant Swordfish, a terrifying creature from the depths of the sea.

Now, riding on the towering waves, their fearsome strength instilled fear in everyone.

However, witnessing Mutant Sea Creatures emerging from the waves in succession, a military officer suddenly reminded everyone, having clicked something, “They are marine creatures. They can’t survive on land! Even if they briefly come ashore, they need to ride the waves! More importantly, their combat power will be greatly reduced on land! We just need to hold on! Just hold the line!” Shouting at the top of his lungs, this officer cheered on countless soldiers and Superhumans.

“Understood!” countless Humans, wielding sharp swords and sabers, responded in unison, their gazes resolute and unwavering.

Behind them was their home, and even more so, their friends and families.

They had already set their minds on fighting until the last man.

…

At this moment, another city of China, Flame City, ruled by Ling Er, the Empress, also a coastal city, was also facing the invasion of Sea Creatures.

As she slowly lifted her gaze, endless towering waves greeted her sight, with countless Mutant Sea Creatures hissing and growling in the depths of the waves.

An army doesn’t move out before the establishment of supply lines. Similarly, Sea Creatures could not move until the waves did.

Only when the waves had engulfed the city could they completely bring out their strength.

However, as they approached this city, the Sea Creatures’ hearts and souls were seized by a sense of foreboding.

“This feeling…” murmuring softly, an Octopus lurking deep in the waves also looked around suspiciously.

However, shortly afterward, much to its astonishment, a figure bathing in flames entered its sight, quietly standing on top of the city wall.

Standing alone, she appeared extraordinarily heroic and beautiful. Her palace-style red long gown rustled along the fierce wind, her hair flying freely. Yet, this woman gave countless Mutant Sea Creatures palpitations.

Ling Er’s eyes, gazing at the towering waves, remained completely calm. Countless humans stood behind her, regarding her with fanaticism, with many among them Tier-2 Superhumans.

“I’ve never scorched rivers, nor boiled seas… Today, perhaps I can give it a try…” murmuring in a low voice, Ling Er slowly took a step forward.

However, with just this step, towering purple flames surged forward like waves. These flames were hot, extremely so. Before they even neared the towering waves, white water vapors visible to the naked eyes started rising rapidly.

At the same time, mournful wails echoed through the city.

*Boom, boom, boom…” One after another, charred bodies fell to the ground, with many among them belonging to Tier-2 Mutant Sea Creatures.

In the face of the incredible towering purple flames, even the most fearsome Mutant Sea Creatures were reduced to charred carcasses.

However, this was not the most terrifying part.

The most terrifying part was that, as the purple flames continuously spread, swathes of land swallowed by the towering waves gradually dried up, revealing cracked earth.

The purple flames were inexplicably hot, and unimaginably terrifying.

At this moment, countless people from Flame City, who were watching everything through their screens, realized that Fire Element Practitioners could indeed scorch rivers and boil seas when they had reached extremely high levels in their cultivation.

They could make impossible possible, all in the blink of an eye.

And this was Ling Er, the Empress. She was the first Human to reach Tier-3, standing at the peak of all of mankind.

“Empress, Empress…”

“Madam Mayor, Madam Mayor…”

…

As cheers broke out through the city, countless Humans gazed at Ling Er with fervor.

Some even appeared like fanatic devotees.

Meanwhile, feeling the fervent gazes behind her, Ling Er’s lips curled in secret.

As far as she was concerned, this beast tide was a good opportunity to win over public sentiment. Of course, on the condition that the Tier-3 Sea Creatures invading Shanghai did not arrive here. Otherwise, even with her newfound strength, she wouldn’t be able to hold them off.

After all, she had just broken through. Thanks to the resources provided by Misty Mountains in secret and the support of China’s abundant resources, Ling Er finally broke through to Tier-3, combining the strengths of both worlds.

She thus became the first in Human history to become a Tier-3 Superhuman.

As long as Ling Er could maintain her identity, this achievement alone would be enough to go down in history, because breaking through to the Tier-3 was exceedingly difficult, even more so for Humans.

Ling Er’s breakthrough marked the beginning of a new chapter.

However, if Humans came to learn of Ling Er’s true identity, they would probably be coughing blood.

“What should we do about the Sea Creature onslaught led by those Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creatures?” Murmuring to herself, Ling Er glanced deeply in the direction of Shanghai.

According to the reports, all the nuclear weapons in Shanghai had been detonated non-stop, completely destroying the continental plates. Yet, they failed to inflict any significant injuries on those few Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creatures.

Instead, they had become a nightmare for lower-tier Mutant Sea Creatures.

In the aftermath, the entire sea was dyed red with blood, with limbs and mutilated pieces of flesh floating on the surface.

Millions of Mutant Sea Creatures were buried here, including Tier-2 Mutant Sea Creatures. Yet, despite such decisive and ruthless actions, Shanghai remained riddled with devastation under the onslaught of the Tier-3s.

And this was just the beginning.

Perhaps stimulated by the bloodshed, or perhaps due to the excessively painful casualties, several Tier-3 Mutant Sea Creatures surged forth into Shanghai.

One more ferocious than the next, one more ruthless than the other.

With several Tier-3 Transcendents taking the stage simultaneously, let alone Shanghai, the entire China’s combined might find it difficult to resist.

The towering waves surged higher and higher, until they engulfed Shanghai completely. After which, led by those few Tier-3 Sea Creatures, the Sea Creatures Onslaught was spreading towards the depths of the continent at a terrifying speed.

*Haaa…* With a sigh, Ling Er lifted her feet, heading towards the onslaught of Sea Creatures.

Sometimes, she had no choice.

Even if it was just going through the motions, she had to intervene.

After all, this was not only for China but also for her Master, who was at a critical juncture of breakthrough. If disturbed, even if these Mutant Sea Creatures were slaughtered, it would not be enough to vent his anger.
