Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1717: Meeting Puyang Yeyu Again

”Is your sister still in the sacred ground, Senior?”

Puyang Zong looked at Zhang Fei [5] with conflicted feelings. He had heard from Puyang Shenmi that the young man before him was interested in his sister, Puyang Yeyu.

Puyang Zong was happy to hear that there was a man interested in his sister because Puyang Yeyu was no longer young, but the problem was that Zhang Fei [5] was too young to marry her, and he was even much younger than his grandson.

’Whatever will happen, let it happen.’ Puyang Zong shook his head at Zhang Fei [5]. ”My sister has fully recovered, and she has returned to her private room since last week.”

”Where is her private room, Senior?”

Puyang Zong pointed west. ”If you go to that area, you will meet a small house on the side of the pond, and my sister lives there. Anyways, you should stop addressing me as your senior, kid.”

”Haha,” Zhang Fei [5] laughed awkwardly. ”I will address you as my big brother then.”

”That’s good.” Puyang Zhong led Liao Hanxue, Ji Changlan, Gong Ren, and Cheng Gaoji to go meet the four people he mentioned earlier.

Since they had lived in the Moonlit Passion Temple for so many years, Liao Hanxue, Ji Changlan, Gong Ren, and Cheng Gaoji could immediately guess Zhang Fei [5]’s relationship with Puyang Zong’s sister. ’That kid is truly unbelievable! He also has a woman in this Ancient Realm.’

When he arrived at the small houses by the pond, Zhang Fei [5] saw Puyang Yeyu watering the colorful flowers by the pond using water from the pond. ”Yeyu.”

”Eh?” Puyang Yeyu froze for a moment before turning to Zhang Fei [5]. Although she was surprised by his sudden arrival, she wore a beautiful smile on her young face. ”You came at last.”

Since they parted almost two months ago, Zhang Fei [5] always brought Puyang Yeyu to the dream space whenever he had spare time. They spent quite a lot of time together there, which made their relationship even closer than the first time he brought her there.

Zhang Fei [5] walked in front of Puyang Yeyu, took her hand, and checked her condition.

Puyang Yeyu did not reject Zhang Fei [5] and allowed him to confirm that her condition had fully recovered. ”How is the result?”

”All is well.” Zhang Fei [5] pulled Puyang Yeyu to the terrace of the small house and sat down side by side. ”Why did you leave the sacred ground? Wouldn’t it be better if you cultivated there?”

Puyang Yeyu shook her head and explained, ”You’re not wrong about that, but my clan has its own rules, and only the injured can cultivate in the sacred ground. Where is your original body now? Are you still the Zenith Solar Sanctum?”

”My original body just left the Yin-Yang Immortal Valley, and he is on his way to the Frozen Yin Domain.” Puyang Yeyu froze after Zhang Fei [5] said that, and her eyes widened in shock. As a native of the Ancient Realm, she naturally knew about the situation in that domain, and the Yin Demon Race controlled almost the entire area there. ”You don’t have to worry about my safety, okay? Although my cultivation is still at the 1-Sun Celestial Emperor Realm, I’m not as weak as you think. Besides, I’m not going to that domain alone, but Feng Yao and Huo Ling are accompanying me, so I’ll definitely be fine there.”

Puyang Yeyu breathed a sigh of relief. ”Since Senior Feng and Senior Huo accompanied you to that domain, I believe you’ll be safe there. But why did you have to go to that domain?”

”I want to use the Yin Demon to improve my cultivation, and I want to meet someone there.”

”Is that person a woman?”

”Are you jealous?”

Puyang Yeyu shook her head. ”Only a foolish woman would be jealous of a man with over a hundred wives.”

”Haha,” Zhang Fei [5] laughed softly. ”That woman is Yuan Xiajie of the Ancient Nether Clan; she—”

”What? Is that woman really a member of the Ancient Nether Clan?” Puyang Yeyu asked in shock. ”As far as I remember, that clan was destroyed long ago, and all its members died that day.”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded at her. ”The Ancient Nether Clan was destroyed long ago, and all its members were killed by the Nightmare Lord, Meng Zhou. However, Yuan Xiajie was not in her clan during the bloody incident that day, so she survived the bloody massacre.”

”I see.” Puyang Yeyu nodded in understanding. ”Why are you looking for Yuan Xiajie?”

”Yuan Xiajie left a deep fear in my heart, so I must meet her to dispel my fear of her.” Puyang Yeyu frowned deeply after she said that, but Zhang Fei [5] immediately recounted the events that happened between them in the past. ”Besides that, I want to snatch the Nine Yin Soul Banner from her, and I need that artifact to do something important.”

”The Nine Yin Soul Banner?” Zhang Fei [5] nodded and told Puyang Yeyu about the ancient artifact based on Feng Yichen’s story in the past. ”If I remember correctly, the creator of that artifact was not a demon cultivator from the Paradise Realm but from this Ancient Realm, and the artifact once belonged to the Mo Clan from the Myriad Abyss Domain.” (A/N: Chapter 857: Two Ancient Items.)

”The Mo Clan from the Myriad Abyss Domain?”

Puyang Yeyu nodded slightly. ”The Myriad Abyss Domain is the most dangerous domain in this Ancient Realm, and there are many demon gods living there.”

”Oh? How many demon gods are there?”

”Twenty or fifty, maybe?” Zhang Fei [5] choked hard. ”I don’t know the exact number, but you don’t have to be surprised by their numbers. After all, this Ancient Realm is different from the Paradise Realm, and those demon gods are like cabbages here.”

Zhang Fei [5] sighed. ”I myself still have a hard time facing the demon gods in the Paradise Realm, but there are far more demon gods in this realm.”

”Hehe,” Puyang Yeyu laughed softly. ”Since you’re a lust demon yourself, I think you won’t have any problems going to the Myriad Abyss Domain. If you go there, you might be able to find the demon items to upgrade your demon wives’ demon ranks.”

Zhang Fei [5]’s eyes lit up upon hearing that because he had quite a number of demon wives, and their demon rank was still stuck at the Empress Rank. He had already asked Wu Zu to look for those demon items, but she had a difficult time getting them. ”I think I should go to that domain to look for those demon items so I can help all my demon wives to upgrade their demon rank to the Seven Supreme Demon Ranks, but I will discuss this matter with Feng Yao and Huo Ling first.”

”Since they are both your wives, and they are much stronger than you, you can ask for their help in that matter.” Then, Puyang Yeyu asked him. ”What brings you to my clan today? You didn’t come here just to see me, did you?”

”I brought four people with me, and I want them to learn from your clan members.” Zhang Fei [5] told Puyang Yeyu about Liao Hanxue and the three men. ”I plan to rebuild the Yin-Yang Immortal Valley, and I will move my sect and all my close friends to that domain in the future. However, that domain doesn’t have any powerful barriers yet, and Liao Hanxue is the best array master I know.”

”The Yin-Yang Immortal Valley.” Puyang Yeyu murmured and nodded. ”I’ve been to that domain in the past, but I didn’t have time to go to all the places, and I only went to the Yin-Yang Spirit River. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a lover, let alone a husband, so my adventures in that domain ended in vain.”

”Do you want to go to that domain with me?” Puyang Yeyu was stunned before lowering her head, not knowing what to reply to Zhang Fei [5]. Although their relationship had significantly improved after spending a considerable amount of time together in the dream space, and she felt comfortable with his presence, she still did not have romantic feelings for him. ”Forget it, I will take you to that domain when you fall in love with me, and I will take you as my wife at that time.”

”How can you be so confident that I will fall in love with you?”

”I’m just confident.”

”Are you sure about that?”

”I’m sure you’ll fall in love with me someday.” Puyang Yeyu fell silent, and Zhang Fei [5] held her hand, gently rubbing it. ”Isn’t this an example? If you didn’t have any interest in me, you wouldn’t let me hold your hand like this, right?”

Puyang Yeyu’s cheeks reddened, but she did not withdraw her hand from Zhang Fei [5]’s grasp; instead, she enjoyed the action of rubbing her hand.

Zhang Fei [5] smiled seeing the blush on Puyang Yeyu’s cheeks. ”Yeyu.”

”Hmm?”

”Give me a chance to get into your heart, okay?”

Puyang Yeyu smiled faintly. ”I’ll give you a chance, but you have to find the key to unlock my heart yourself.”

”I will definitely find it, and then I will stay in your heart forever.”

”Cheesy!”

While Zhang Fei [5] was enjoying his time with Puyang Yeyu, Liao Hanxue was seriously discussing with Puyang Taichu and Puyang Zhiren about formation arrays.

At first, Puyang Taichu and Puyang Zhiren didn’t want to teach Liao Hanxue because they felt it would just waste their time, but Puyang Zong told them that she was a good friend of Feng Yao’s husband. Moreover, they had already enjoyed the benefits of Zhang Fei [5]’s pills, so they decided to accept her presence.
