The Sword God of the Universe

Chapter 2009: Chapter 2009: The Arrival of a Powerful Enemy

Sky Creation City, Council Hall!

The atmosphere is heavy, and the expressions of the people inside the hall are all solemn.

The death of Duanmu Supreme is something everyone is already aware of. Among them, some are very familiar with Duanmu Supreme, some are less so, but they all at least knew Duanmu and had greeted Duanmu Supreme. With Duanmu Supreme dying in such an unclear way, everyone surely feels uncomfortable.

But the greater pressure still comes from those outsiders beyond the universe.

”Everyone, the situation is like this!” Jing Yun said in a somber voice from the top position in the hall.

”Now, we need to prepare for war. Although each of the outsiders is extremely powerful, we are not fish on a chopping board. If the outsiders want to slaughter us at will, we must make them pay a price.” Jing Yun continued.

”Councilman! The Sky Creation City Alliance commands the universe. You are the Councilman of the Sky Creation City Alliance, whatever you say, we will do. Outsiders killed Duanmu Minister as they please. In their eyes, we are no different from ants, at best we are just stronger ants. If we do not resist, we will only die more miserably!”

”Yes, Councilman, give the order! At worst, we go to war with them. Even if we die, we should die magnificently.”

”...”

The Supremes in the hall all spoke up, and this time, almost everyone supported going to war. They had all witnessed Duanmu Minister’s ordeal, and now it’s Duanmu Supreme, in the future it could be them. As long as they are in the universe, they cannot remain uninvolved.

At this time, Jing Yun’s eyes narrowed as he looked towards the hall’s door.

Silhouettes walked in from outside the hall.

Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix, Bai Xue, and Gao Feng all walked in together.

Jing Yun quickly stood up.

”Mother, Second Mother, Aunt!” Jing Yun greeted respectfully.

Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix, Bai Xue, and Gao Feng, although they are not part of the Sky Creation City Alliance, their status is very eminent. All three have an extremely close relationship with Jing Yan.

Gao Feng and Bai Xue are Jing Yan’s own people, and although Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix is not Jing Yan’s wife, her relationship with Jing Yan is incomparable to anyone other than Gao Feng and Bai Xue.

All the powerful beings in the hall stood up when the three women entered. Everyone was very respectful towards Gao Feng.

Gao Feng, Bai Xue, and Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix do not live in Sky Creation City. They have always resided in the Winter Snow World created by Jing Dongxue.

The current Winter Snow World is considered one of the largest worlds within the universe. Within the world, strong beings are as common as clouds, with hundreds of Heavenly Venerate level cultivators present.

The three nodded towards everyone present, indicating that they should sit down.

”Mother, why did you come from Winter Snow World?” Jing Yun asked suspiciously.

”Jing Yun, your sister is in trouble!” Gao Feng said, not avoiding the other people present.

”What?” Jing Yun’s expression changed, his eyes turning red.

Jing Yun’s sister Jing Dongxue, in terms of strength, actually surpasses Jing Yun. Jing Dongxue stepped into the Supreme level before Jing Yun.

”What happened to Dongxue?” Jing Yun was extremely tense and furious.

”Don’t worry, your sister is alive, her life is not in danger, she just suffered some injuries and is currently recuperating in Winter Snow World.” Gao Feng said.

Hearing his mother’s words, Jing Yun let out a sigh of relief, though his expression remained grim.

”Outsider! Mother, it must have been an outsider, right?” Jing Yun said.

Jing Yun was almost certain it was an outsider who injured Jing Dongxue. Within this universe, who would dare attack Jing Dongxue? Even if someone went mad and attacked her, who could be her match? Within this universe, Jing Dongxue is almost the strongest cultivator. Even Second Mother Bai Xue and Aunt Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix’s strength doesn’t surpass hers.

”Exactly, it was an outsider. At the time, the outsider was plundering the resources of our cosmic creatures. When they resisted, the outsider went for the kill. Dongxue happened to encounter him and naturally fought with the outsider. These outsiders are too powerful, Dongxue was simply not their match. However, the outsider did not ultimately kill Dongxue, he said that because Dongxue is the daughter of Palace Master Jing Yan, he spared her life.” Gao Feng said faintly, with a voice not loud but filled with anger.

”Mother, what is the name of the outsider?” Jing Yun immediately asked.

”I don’t know! Dongxue doesn’t know the outsider’s name either. Jing Yun, your father presumably has a very high status beyond the universe, and these outsiders likely fear him, so they are being somewhat restrained. But we currently cannot contact your father, otherwise, he could come back and expel these outsiders.” Gao Feng said.

”Having these outsiders remain in our universe is very unfavorable for our cosmic creatures. Even if they do not massacre extensively, they will plunder a vast amount of resources. Therefore, I’m planning to leave the universe to find Brother Jing Yan outside.” Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix interjected.

”Leave the universe?”

”Aunt, that is too dangerous. These outsiders come from beyond the universe, each one stronger than the strongest life within our universe. If you leave the universe, it might be dangerous everywhere.” Jing Yun shook his head and said.

”But if we don’t go out to find Brother Jing Yan, we simply cannot deal with these outsiders!” Nine Heavens Divine Phoenix said with a furrowed brow.

”Dang dang! Dang dang! Dang dang!”

At this moment, a series of urgent bell sounds reverberated.

The expressions of the people in the hall changed upon hearing this sound. This bell signals that Sky Creation City is facing a formidable enemy.

Suddenly, everyone felt the intense fluctuations of the laws in the space.

”Not good!” Jing Yun exclaimed.

”Could it be that these outsiders are already preparing to attack Sky Creation City?” Jing Yun instinctively said.

”Let’s go out and see! If outsiders surpassing the universe’s limitations appear, Sky Creation City might be in danger. The Guardian Array of Sky Creation City cannot withstand forces surpassing the universe’s limits.” Gao Feng said.

”Let’s go, check the situation first!”

”Whoosh whoosh whoosh!”

Inside the Council Hall, numerous figures quickly flew out.

Outside the hall, they saw several figures hovering beyond the formation above the city. Each of these figures exuded terrifying auras.

With just a glance, Jing Yun and the others confirmed they were outsiders. Because these people seemed entirely unfamiliar.

”Tsk tsk, this city is considered the headquarters of the most powerful force in this Seed Universe.” One of the figures in the sky said with a seemingly mocking smile.
