The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 800: Chapter 800: Xia Ji’s True Goal (Part 3)

It’s just that Xia Qingcheng doesn’t understand, even he doesn’t know about it, would Xia Ling know?

After Han Jing and Su Yu finished reading the contents of the Jade Scroll, they found it incredibly unbelievable. However, with this, they could completely understand what Xia Ji was really up to.

”Oh my God!” Han Jing suddenly exclaimed, ”If this is indeed Xia Ji’s real purpose, then Senior, shouldn’t you swiftly gather all the unmarried women of the Xia Clan? Otherwise, they might fall victim to Xia Ji! This is no trivial matter!”

Xia Qingcheng nodded, ”If her purpose is truly to use the Shengxue Pearl to fulfill her own ambitions, then indeed, it’s a significant issue.”

Han Jing...

So, old man, shouldn’t you handle the proper business first? Such matters require precaution, and you’re still here pondering?

Han Jing was speechless.

It was Su Yu who finally reminded, ”Jing’er is right. The urgent thing to do is to gather all the unmarried women of the Xia Clan just in case.”

Xia Qingcheng glanced at Su Yu and said, ”Very well, I’ll summon the elders to discuss this matter immediately.”

Then he left the room.

Han Jing shook his head in exasperation, ”No wonder Xia Ji said it’s rare to see an expression on his face. Such a major event has occurred, and this old man remains so calm. Is he even anxious?”

It’s clearly an extremely urgent matter, and yet he leisurely goes off to summon the elders for a meeting. Does he not know the importance of handling proper business? Shouldn’t he directly summon guards to bring all the unmarried women here house by house first?

”Oh, right!” Han Jing suddenly said, ”Could Xia Ji be targeting Han Qingjue first?”

Su Yu: ”No idea.”

”I’m going out for a bit.” Han Jing suddenly stood up and headed outside.

Su Yu asked in confusion, ”Where are you going?”

Without looking back, Han Jing explained, ”I’m going to warn Han Qingjue.”

Su Yu asked in surprise, ”Why? Don’t you dislike her?”

”I do dislike her, but abnormality can be contagious. Han Qingjue made many mistakes, yet she isn’t Xia Ji. Also, our task now is to stop Xia Ji. If Xia Ji succeeds, the unlucky one would be more than just Han Qingjue. I’ll give her a warning, whether she listens or not is up to her, and whether she survives or not is her fate. Besides, as I said, I want to confront her openly, or else she’d think I’m afraid of her!” Han Jing thought that Han Qingjue indeed deserved to die, and if she died because of something else, he’d probably laugh twice, but the problem now is, her death might just serve Xia Ji’s purpose.

That’s something Han Jing absolutely did not want to see!

Amid Su Yu’s astonishment, Han Jing had already left.

Su Yu shook his head helplessly, no matter what his Jing’er had been through, her nature remained kind.

When Han Jing was about to sneak into the Holy Maiden Palace, he saw Han Qingjue and Ling Xiang walking out together.

Both of them were startled to see Han Jing, and the three exchanged glances. Han Qingjue pointed to a distant place, ”Let’s talk somewhere else.”

So, Han Jing, who initially planned to warn Han Qingjue to be cautious of Xia Ji, inexplicably ended up with Han Qingjue and Ling Xiang in a nearby expansive flower field, stopping at a relatively secluded spot.
