The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 608: Chapter 608: Full and So Happy!

She sat there obediently and sensibly, watching Su Yu turn and leave, without calling out.

She had to be obedient, even though she didn’t understand why. But Mother had said that only if she was obedient could she be with Father in the future, she could be like other children, having a Father.

Su Yu was afraid she would be too hungry, so he didn’t let her wait long. In a little while, he brought two bowls of seemingly very plain noodles to the table.

”The ingredients are a bit scarce, you eat some first to fill your stomach, and later I’ll take you down the mountain to eat more.” Su Yu placed the small bowl in front of her, gave her a spoon and chopsticks, and asked with a smile, ”Can you eat by yourself?”

Xiao Xue nodded.

Then she reached out to take the chopsticks, picked at the noodles, and started eating.

After sucking a long strand of noodle into her mouth, Xiao Xue looked at Su Yu in surprise, then swallowed the noodle with puffed cheeks.

Only then did she exclaim, ”It’s so delicious!”

Originally, she looked at the plain-tasting noodle soup with no color... not even a bit of minced meat, and felt a bit disdainful. But this was made by Father himself! Xiao Xue was determined to eat some to give face, but to her surprise, it was really tasty!

The noodles were chewy, much better than what she had in Ghost Immortal Town!

Though there was no meat taste, it was very fresh, plain, but refreshing.

Little Xiao Xue, who was usually a foodie, suddenly became particularly appetizing. She was used to eating various sweets and meat dishes, and suddenly tasting such delicious vegetarian noodles was a new experience.

She immediately lowered her head and skillfully started eating the noodles.

Watching her, Su Yu couldn’t help but chuckle, ”Eat slowly.”

Then he personally took a spoon to scoop some soup to feed her, and Xiao Xue obediently opened her mouth to drink, feeling extremely happy.

This was noodles made by her Father’s own hands. Since she was so big, Mother had never cooked anything for her once! Hmph, tonight she would go back and confront Mother!

”...You also eat.” Xiao Xue swallowed back the word Father she was about to say and looked at Su Yu hopefully.

Su Yu nodded with a smile, ”Okay.”

He hadn’t eaten anything for a long time or cooked anything. It’s no wonder there weren’t many basic ingredients in Liuyun Hall, yet she could still eat so happily.

Truly a... loving child.

Father and daughter bowed their heads and had a very enjoyable dinner.

Xiao Xue drank up all the noodle soup and still looked at Su Yu eagerly after finishing, appearing as if she hadn’t eaten enough and wanted more.

Su Yu deliberately ignored her.

Xiao Xue leaned over and whispered, ”Can I have a little more? I’ll just have a little bit, just a little bit is fine!”

Su Yu looked at her and couldn’t help but laugh softly.

Then he nodded at her.

Xiao Xue cheerfully jumped off the chair and crawled into Su Yu’s lap, popping her little head out of his embrace, waiting for Su Yu to feed her.

Su Yu took a spoon, scooped the noodles along with the soup, and brought it to her lips.

Xiao Xue happily opened her mouth and ate it.

Then, father and daughter fed each other one bite at a time until Su Yu’s bowl was completely empty. Xiao Xue contentedly patted her round, full tummy and exclaimed, ”Ah, I’m full, so happy!”

If she could eat it every day, she’d be even happier!

Thinking of this, Xiao Xue inevitably felt a little bit of loss.
