The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 448: Chapter 448: I Won’t Help (2)

As if to make sure Han Yan heard her clearly, or perhaps to make sure she herself heard it, Han Yuxiao repeated with a voice that was exceptionally calm and resolute: ”I won’t do it.”

She knew that if at this moment, her father went to plead with the Emperor, the Emperor might show some leniency. After all, Prince Ling was not directly involved in the rebellion, and it was still possible to intercede.

But she would not go.

She did not tell her parents how her arm was broken, but she truly couldn’t go and help Su Xingyan.

This infatuation had died along with him mercilessly pushing her toward death. Whether she lost her arm or nearly her life didn’t matter. What mattered was that he never cared; she had been foolishly in love with such a man for so many years.

So it was time to end it, long overdue.

Even if she went mad, she would never again involve herself in anything related to Su Xingyan.

”Sister Xiao, what’s come over you? The Prince, ... you, do you really have not a shred of feeling for him? He is really in need of you now. If you could see him, maybe he would pull himself together...” Han Yan was truly incredulous as to why Han Yuxiao would say such a thing about not helping, because if even Han Yuxiao wouldn’t help, she had no one else to turn to.

What on earth had happened, why had Han Yuxiao suddenly become so...

Han Yan had initially thought that if Han Yuxiao went to comfort Su Xingyan, perhaps he might fall for her, might marry her, or something along those lines. But now there was still An Chuxue around; she really couldn’t fabricate anything more, because Han Yuxiao might believe her, but An Chuxue would never!

She truly didn’t understand how at this moment An Chuxue, who should never have been here, was with Han Yuxiao. If An Chuxue went back and told Han Jing anything, her own fate would only be worse, so Han Yan was really helpless. She could only gloss over the heavy while hoping that Han Yuxiao understood her meaning.

”Han Yan, could you stop making things up? Haven’t you deceived me enough over the years? You always told me how much Prince Ling liked me and needed me, but in reality? No matter how bad my memory is, I can’t forget his attitude towards me, right? When will you stop deceiving me?” Han Yuxiao mocked herself: ”So you don’t need to say anything else, I won’t help him, you should leave. For the sake of our years of knowing each other, I won’t make things difficult for you, but please, never appear before me again.”

It’s said that being hot or cold is only known to the drinker, but she had been blind to the extent that, no matter how Su Xingyan treated her, she didn’t have the sense to not cling to him. But what was the result?

It was nothing but a joke.

”Sister Xiao, what’s come over you? You, you’ve loved the Prince for so many years, why, why...” Han Yan wanted to question Han Yuxiao, why someone who loved Su Xingyan so much could change so suddenly?

She truly believed that nothing could make someone stop liking Su Xingyan, that no one could make Han Yuxiao stop loving him.

Once in her eyes, Han Jing was the number one fool, while Han Yuxiao wasn’t far behind. But what happened to these two people? One says they don’t like him anymore, and now the other does the same, just like that?
