The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 444: Chapter 444: Reaping What You Sow (Part 2)

However, she waited and waited, but instead of waiting for an opportunity, she heard news of the Crown Prince’s rebellion and the Capital City being besieged. Everyone in the entire household knew that the Prince had been close to the Crown Prince. In those days, some people quietly slipped away with their bundles, but fortunately, the Prince was not focused on these matters, so he was unaware of the changes happening in the household.

Qian’er also once thought that she might be truly doomed. If the Prince were convicted, then the servants of their household, even if not dead, would be sold off.

But she never expected that what she waited for was merely the imperial decree exiling the Prince back to his fief, not the Prince being convicted and deposed. She was unexpectedly overjoyed, because even if it was back to the fief, he was still a Prince, and besides, being far from the Emperor meant more freedom, didn’t it?

She was just a maidservant with ambitions. She didn’t care whether the Prince was in the Capital City or back in his fief; what mattered to her was how she could capture the Prince’s heart and have a chance to be favored.

At this moment, she felt her chance had come.

The Prince was at a vulnerable time and needed comfort. Moreover, she was carrying the Prince’s child; at such a time, she was sure to make him feel warmth. Besides, she had just hidden and listened, and it was clear that the Emperor decreed that the Prince should take Lady Roufei back to the fief with him. With a grandchild in her belly, Lady Roufei was bound to be more lenient with her.

Knowing that this opportunity was not to be missed, Qian’er immediately threw herself over.

Su Xingyan stared at the hand Qian’er had wrapped around his waist, and his face turned completely dark as he shouted, ”What do you think you are? Let go of me now!”

Qian’er was startled, thinking Su Xingyan might have just forgotten her. She quickly explained, ”Prince~ Qian’er, Qian’er has served you in bed before, don’t you remember? Prince, Qian’er truly admires you and no matter the ends of the earth, Qian’er is willing to follow you, for life, never to part~”

”For life, never to part?” Su Xingyan stared at Qian’er’s intoxicated little face, and suddenly burst out laughing: ”Hahaha——”

For life, never to part.

Why did this sentence sound so familiar? Where had he heard it before?

That’s right, it was back then, back when Han Jing plucked up the courage to confess to him. At that time, she looked at him with the same intoxicated face, saying I truly admire you, wish to be by your side, for life, never to part.

At that time, he only replied to her with four words: wishful thinking!

”Hahahaha—— wishful thinking, wishful thinking—— Su Xingyan, you have your day too!” Su Xingyan laughed until tears almost came out. In the past, when he truly had everything, he never looked at what he possessed, nor did he ever cherish it.

It was only today, only today when he had lost everything, that he realized what he had missed. He finally realized how, back then, he had utterly trampled on the genuine heart Han Jing had for him, without even glancing at it.

So he had this day, who could he blame?

All of this, all of it, was nothing but his own doing.

Qian’er looked at Su Xingyan, a bit scared, also a bit confused, wishful thinking? Who was he talking about?

Su Xingyan looked down, his cold gaze fixed on Qian’er, his eyes like shards of ice, making Qian’er’s heart shiver.
