The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 349: Chapter 349: Han Jing Is Su Yu’s Wife

Su Xingyan’s shout caused an uproar in the royal court.

Su Xingyan clenched his teeth tightly, his face was solemn, yet he had made up his mind, and said to the Emperor: ”Father, I know I was wrong. It was my fault for not treating Han Jing well, causing her to become disheartened and thus annulling the engagement with me. But she absolutely cannot marry the Imperial Uncle; she is already bearing my child.”

Of course, Su Xingyan did not want to acknowledge the child that had nothing to do with him, but no matter what, he could not let Father decree a marriage; he could not let Han Jing marry someone else. Even if he was being despicable, he would find ways to tie Han Jing to his side. In the future, there would be time; someday, he would make her love him again!

But his shout left even Su Yaogeng dumbfounded. She had seen shamelessness, but she had never seen someone this shameless!

Back when Jing’er, from her family, was wholeheartedly in love with him, he desperately wanted out of this marriage, insisting on annulling the engagement, until Jing’er finally gave up and annulled it. So what is he doing now?

Moreover, who said the child in Jing’er’s belly was his? Was this child misidentified? What kind of absurd joke is this!

”What nonsense are you spouting? Are you making baseless accusations? When did our Jing’er have even a copper coin’s worth of relationship with you?” Su Yaogeng was truly furious. If it weren’t the Great Hall, she would have gone over and slapped him to death now!

The Emperor was also troubled, feeling overwhelmed. Was this third son of his having a problem with his brain? He was the one making a big fuss about annulling the engagement back then, and now this nonsense is going on? Even as his father, he couldn’t stand it. Though he had inquired about what had happened back then, all in all, he didn’t know whose child was in Han Jing’s belly, but it certainly wasn’t the third son’s!

Back then, the third son couldn’t even stand the sight of Jing’er, let alone have any intimate relationship with her!

Also, did they really think he was senile, knowing nothing about what was going on!

Before the Emperor could reprimand Su Xingyan, another person stood out.

No one else but Han Yuxiao. Today was the Emperor’s birthday banquet, so besides the court ministers, their family members were also mostly present; it was natural for Han Yuxiao to be there.

”Emperor, this humble servant can attest, the child in Princess Chenyu’s belly has nothing to do with Prince Ling... His Highness. This humble servant is here to apologize to the Emperor and Eldest Princess, some time ago, Princess Chenyu was insulted, and it was caused by this humble servant and Marquis Qing’an’s concubine, Han Yan. These past months, I’ve been unable to sleep at night, filled with guilt, and I beg the Eldest Princess for punishment.” Han Yuxiao knelt down, speaking each word clearly.

She liked Su Xingyan so much, but he had humiliated her in such a manner. Fine then, if she couldn’t have him, he couldn’t have what he wanted either. He liked Han Jing, didn’t he? He even wanted to acknowledge the bastard variety in Han Jing’s belly. Ha, how could she allow him to get his wish? Who Han Jing would marry and with whom she would tie the knot was none of her business, but she would never let Su Xingyan marry Han Jing! She was willing to be punished for what she did to Han Jing, but she would never let Su Xingyan get what he wanted, even if it cost her life!

Su Yu’s gaze swept coldly over everyone in the hall. He was somewhat displeased; he sought his brother to issue a marriage decree explicitly to give Han Jing a legitimate status. Since he intended to marry her, he would never let her feel wronged, so he wanted the whole world to know that Han Jing was Su Yu’s wife.
