The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 332: Chapter 332: Jing Yu’s First Collaboration to Crush Scum (Part 2)

He Yanxin was waiting anxiously, when suddenly a figure appeared at the entrance of the living room.

With wide sleeves and a long robe bordered in crimson ink, the attire of a prince, He Yanxin looked joyfully at Su Yu standing at her doorway.

Su Yu was very tall, his appearance strikingly beautiful, and as he stood there at the entrance, the maidens in He Yanxin’s courtyard couldn’t help but faint with excitement; they had never seen such a handsome man in their lives!

He Yanxin found her heart racing uncontrollably, every time she saw him she felt as though her heart was no longer hers, beating wildly as if it would fly away.

She even suspected she was seeing things, blinked her eyes, unable to resist taking another look, only to find Su Yu indeed standing at the door.

”Su Yu!” He Yanxin exclaimed in surprise.

Zhang He, who had not yet left, also looked towards the door. Su Yu? Why did he find this name somewhat familiar, had he heard it somewhere before?

Zhang He thought about it but couldn’t recall.

He Yanxin quickly walked over to Su Yu; the matter of Su Yu having slapped her before was already thoroughly forgotten. As long as she could see Su Yu’s face, it felt like everything could be forgiven.

She stood in front of him, pleasantly surprised and somewhat nervous, speaking softly like a shy little girl, ”You’ve come?”

Su Yu’s gaze finally settled on her, his voice clear and cold, ”Did you know I would come?”

He Yanxin was immediately taken aback. Right, why would Su Yu come? The people she sent to capture Han Jing hadn’t returned, meaning her tactic to force Su Yu’s appearance hadn’t succeeded. So why would he come?

Of course, she wanted to believe Su Yu had come specifically for her, that he missed her enough to seek her out, but He Yanxin wasn’t foolish; she knew that was impossible.

She knew Su Yu did not like her, and even the rumors in the capital claimed Su Yu liked men, but she didn’t believe it, nor did she care. As long as she could see him, could marry him, she felt she would be the happiest woman in the world! From childhood to adulthood, there was nothing He Yanxin wanted that she couldn’t obtain. And Su Yu was no different; she was determined to attain him.

”Su Yu, I... why did you come?” He Yanxin pretended to be surprised, while in truth, she was indeed surprised.

She truly couldn’t understand why Su Yu would come at this time; there was no news from Jiugui, he shouldn’t know what she had done.

”I’m here to take you somewhere.” Su Yu curved his lips slightly, his attitude suddenly becoming somewhat gentle.

It must be said, in a certain way, Su Yu and Han Jing were somewhat similar in that, when they wanted to make someone’s life more miserable than death, they usually gave them a bit of kindness to experience.

After all, once seen this time, who knows if there would be another chance to see it again?

He Yanxin’s mind was in an excited turmoil; she felt she could hardly keep up with her own thoughts. She had longed for Su Yu for so long, yet Su Yu had never even glanced at her directly, but now, he actually looked at her and interacted with her. Was that... was that a smile?

Maybe it wasn’t exactly a smile, but at least he no longer ignored her coldly.

”Where to?” He Yanxin’s voice was very light, with a slight tremor, bearing the unique shyness of a young girl.

”To my courtyard, how about it?”
