The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 304: Chapter 304: I Really Like You...

However, what hurt her the most was the words, ”I never want to see you again...” Does he not want to see her?

Then what were all those years of him being good to her supposed to mean?

If he disliked her so much, why was he nice to her from the start and never rejected her advances... When he visited the General Mansion as a child, he would agree to whatever she wanted to do. He often brought her small gifts, played with her when she pestered him, and always smiled, never showing impatience.

She always thought that even if he didn’t love her, at least he liked her!

People always said feelings can develop over time. Once they got married, he would like her, right?

But now... he told her to get lost. He said he never wanted to see her again...

”Brother Ling Wang, I like you, I really like you...” Han Yuxiao’s voice was choked with sobs, grievances, caution, and hopefulness, tinged with humility. How she wished his words were just said in a moment of anger. Perhaps if he heard her confession, he wouldn’t be like this: ”I have liked you for so many, many years...”

She could care about nothing else, not the rumors outside, not the gossip, not him yelling at her, just as long as he heard her words, just as long as he wouldn’t say he never wanted to see her again...

At this moment, Su Xingyan was already unbearably annoyed: ”You liking me, what does it have to do with me? Someone, escort Miss Han back!”

The guards outside heard Su Xingyan’s orders and rushed in to escort Han Yuxiao out.

Never in her life had Han Yuxiao felt so humiliated, and this humiliation was given by the man she liked the most.

No one knew how utterly shattered her heart was at that moment. She took step by step backward, suddenly pushing away the guard trying to reach for her, shouting at Su Xingyan, ”I hate you—”

Then she ran out crying.

Han Yan, still kneeling with her head lowered, hadn’t expected Su Xingyan to speak so harshly to Han Yuxiao. She had only intended for Han Yuxiao to cause a scene when approaching Su Xingyan. Su Xingyan, being someone who cared so much about his image, surely would become angry if caught by Han Yuxiao sleeping with a maid. Yet, she truly didn’t know that Su Xingyan, who always regarded himself as a gentleman, would lash out at Han Yuxiao.

Please note, Han Yuxiao was different from her; she had no support behind her, while Han Yuxiao had the whole General Mansion backing her up.

When it came to being spoiled and willful, Han Jing in the capital city really couldn’t compare with Han Yuxiao. It was only because of Han Jing’s unsightly face that she was spoken of more harshly. Meanwhile, Han Yuxiao, the General’s daughter, was truly spoiled and willful. After all, she was the only daughter of the General Mansion, and General Han was a renowned Great General who held military power and was deeply favored by the Emperor.

Han Yan’s brother was the same age as Su Xingyan and the Han Family’s son, Han Dong, so he did have some friendship with them. Therefore, Han Yan knew some things. Su Xingyan was one of the Crown Prince’s people, while General Han was someone the Crown Prince wanted to win over, which was why Su Xingyan got close to the Han Family. If Han Jing hadn’t disrupted things, Su Xingyan might really have married Han Yuxiao. She had been friends with Han Yuxiao, and indeed Su Xingyan used to be nice to Han Yuxiao. Otherwise, why would a young girl have given her heart mistakenly for so many years?

Alas, in the end, the falling flower had interest, but the flowing water was heartless!
