The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 416: Releasing the Beta

After I opened the safe, I no longer had a reason to keep Evangeline in that castle, so I teleported her to a specific room in my castle and told her to stay there. The demons have already been warned about how to treat the people who show up at the castle, so everything should be fine.

I also already got Ash and Arael, who were in the castle those two white dragon girls who are Amiya’s servants. Since I paid for them, I can use them as currency in the future, as I’m sure they belong to the lineage of the chief of a dragon tribe, so they’re useful.

”Well, it seems I’m done with the castle...” Honestly, I wanted to evaporate this whole place off the map just because I was executed here, but I’m not a fool this place is full of riches that my kingdom can loot.

So, I’ll opt not to destroy everything and let my soldiers come here and steal everything.

”...Hmm, it seems pretty chaotic out there.” I look out the castle window, seeing the shadow monsters wandering the city, killing humans. There are soldiers and adventurers fighting them, but it’s no use, as for every one they kill, 20 more emerge from my shadow.

I also look up at the castle ceiling, seeing the maids trapped in webs of darkness, crying as some spiders devour people up there. The ones still alive know their fate is to be devoured, so they try to escape, but can’t.

’I wish I had Achlys here...but oh well.’ Achlys is an incredibly powerful shadow, but I gave her to Zephyra so that Zephyra would always have someone to protect her.

I wonder how strong Achlys is now, since in the past, even before I was very powerful, Achlys could already use chaos magic and cause a huge mess.

And my shadows grow stronger based on my power, so Achlys must currently have the power to easily decimate cities on her own, making her the perfect security for Zephyra.

’I’ll leave that for later, I need to go to the church soon.’ I open my wings and fly through the wall, heading to the church. I could teleport with the shadows, but I prefer to fly and see how well the shadows are handling the humans.

Honestly, the results are mediocre the shadows are strong and have good teamwork, but they have limitations in not having many skills, with each one having very specific abilities that over time only seem more predictable.

’The church’s barrier...’ I see the church and notice that it has no barrier at all. The Kingdom has its own barrier powered by a crystal, but the church has a separate barrier just for them, but now that barrier is deactivated.

’Did the barrier depend on Rosaline? Or is it because no one is administering it?’ I don’t know Veritus couldn’t send me any information about what was happening in the kingdom, they did something to prevent information from leaking out.

’Doesn’t matter, it’s better this way.’ I cross the church’s door, landing on the ground and seeing the place is strangely empty.

’This is so strange...I thought in a time of crisis, people would be crowding in the church...’ I don’t feel anyone the place is practically empty, although I sense presences in the basement.

I spread out several shadow sharks to bite anyone who tries to move around here while I quickly go to the secret passage I already know, heading down to the basement.

I’ll go after Beta first she deserves to be freed, although I had Shogo torture her, it was only because I really needed information and she wouldn’t talk because of her too-loyal devotion to my sister.

As I descend, I see the prisoners haven’t been removed from their cells it seems they don’t care if they die here without supervision or if they manage to escape, but I don’t care either, so I just ignore it and keep going down until I reach the magically-locked door where Beta is imprisoned.

I forcefully open the door, feeling the magic of the place Beta probably couldn’t have escaped on her own.

”...” She stares at me, seeing that it’s really me, this time without hiding what I truly am. Her gaze sharpens as she senses my monstrous aura.

”Decided to stop being a coward and hide among the humans, you bitch?” She curses at me, the colors of her emotions strongly indicating her rage and hatred.

”You seem upset, even though I specifically came to save you instead of sending one of my servants to help you.” I could have done that, but I came in person out of respect for my sister...and because I was already going to come get Ren, so I took the opportunity while they were both close by.

”Look what you did to my chest! You damn monster! You want me to be grateful after all this?” She curses at me while I stare at her breasts, which seem slightly larger than the first time, probably from being full of milk.

It’s crazy that they can’t heal what Shogo did Beta has shown enviable regeneration, but even she can’t undo the effects of Shogo’s abilities. Evolved monsters are truly terrifying.

’Shogo is so impressive who would have thought that little tentacle Kaelith gave me as a gift would turn into such an incredible monster?’

”Think of the bright side now your breasts are like two warm, pleasant liquid bubbles, a great stress-relief toy, maybe my big sister will like them.” I say, approaching her and grabbing her enormous breasts.

’They’re so massive...and soft.’ I squeeze, feeling the sensation while seeing those two plugs still stuck in her nipples. She must be in pain from not having the milk drained from there.

After all, I doubt the church has been taking that milk out, so it must be accumulating. I wonder if someone can cure the effects of Shogo’s abilities, or if it’s too difficult.

’Hmm...it’s great to squeeze...’ I squeeze hard, feeling the soft flesh molding as Beta lets out a strange moan, gritting her teeth.

”Shogo was quite happy to play with you...” When I say this, she spits in my face.

”...”

”You’re really pushing your luck, you whore, don’t think I won’t kill you just because you’re my sister’s servant.” I say, punching her in the face and breaking her nose, making the blood flow immediately.

”...” I break the chains that bind her, and she collapses to the ground, disoriented and dizzy.

”Y-You thief! You don’t deserve her position!” She still insists on this complete absurdity, since it’s not even possible to steal this position, as it’s a choice made by my mother.

”I’ll be freeing my sister soon.” When I say this, she freezes.

”...”

”She’s sealed, but I already know where and I have enough power to break the seal and free her.” This is a fact according to what Lilith had said, with my power at level 100,000, I can break the outer seal to free her, and she’s there on the moon.

Although Lilith never said exactly where on the moon, because she was going to take me there, but she’s dead now. However, just knowing she’s on the moon is enough, because I can go there on my own to find the seal.

”I don’t know why the hell you’re so stupid, I’m her sister, why would I want to fight with my big sister?”

”...I...am loyal only to her...it’s not fair to see someone in her position when she’s still alive...” She speaks with a sad tone, but her sadness doesn’t matter to me.

”Listen up, big-breasted bitch, I don’t care about you. At most, I maintain some respect for your enviable loyalty to my sister, but you really don’t matter to me. I’ll save my sister when I have the time. Whether you’re going to escape and wait for that or come with me, I don’t care.”

”But decide quickly, and if you decide to come with me, don’t even think of disrespecting me again. This is the second time you’ve said I stole the Demon King position, and if I hear that shit again, I swear I’ll rip out your heart and make you swallow it I hate anyone who disrespects me like that.” I turn my back and start walking to the door.

I’ll go after Ren now, as she’s the last one that matters. After kidnapping her, I’ll probably go back to my castle. From the point where the humans lost the heroes, the war was practically won, and now that I’ve arrived at the main kingdom, Elena, Freya, Calypso, and Kaelith can already finish everything.

”...”

”I will...follow you.” Beta speaks as she starts to follow me in a more restrained manner. I knew she would choose to follow me, as I’m the only chance she has of seeing my sister again.

”Do whatever you want, as long as you don’t get in my way.” I say harshly as I walk without looking at her.

”...Why help me?” She asks, as if it weren’t obvious.

”Because you’re my sister’s. I consider myself quite loving towards family...and even though I’ve never met my sister, I adore her.” I really like the idea of having an older sister.

I want to have fun with her, have conversations, train together, and tell her about my wives and children. It will be fun to see Eclipsya and Azazel calling my sister ”aunt”.

”It’s just that I allowed you to live despite your constant disrespect.” If she were one of my servants, I would never have tolerated such disrespect.

”...”

”I will...go with you...I’m sorry for my disrespect...I just don’t like to see another person occupying a place that already belonged to her...but I guess...her era is over.” She admits with sadness in her voice.

”Yes, my sister’s era is over, and now it’s my turn, and I won’t give this position back to my sister again. She’s already had her time to prove her worth to our mother, and now this position is mine. If I abdicate it, I’ll try my best to ensure one of my children inherits it.” Probably Eclipsya, but it’s still too early to decide, as I want more children.

For now, Eclipsya is the most intellectually capable, but in the future, other children may turn out better, so it will take a long time before I decide who will be my successor.

Moreover, I don’t even know if I’ll give my position to someone else. I have infinite lifespan, so I can lead forever if I want to!
