The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 410: Battles and Seal Plan

”...” I’m flying on my dragon while I see my army marching out of the kingdom, the damages they received were extremely irritating to me since it messed everything up and forced me to stop the troops to take care of the injured.

No one noticed, Elena, Freya, Calypso and Kaelith didn’t realize there were explosives everywhere, and they went straight into the kingdom, and when our troops were halfway, everything exploded.

Fortunately the damages were smaller because my troops followed the straight line made by the shadow shark and it devoured all the explosives on the way, causing only the troops on the edge to get damaged.

Still, there were more than 70,000 deaths and 280,000 injured from minor wounds to severe injuries, so it was a problematic damage to receive before we reached the main kingdom.

But this won’t stay like this, after reorganizing the troops we started to march and now I already see the enemy army, the number is so large that it literally covers the plain.

[Pandora, can we start?] Elena sends a telepathic message while I fly over my army.

”Yes, you can advance, you guys deal with the front of the army, I’ll handle the middle and the back” I say, leaving Elena surprised.

[Y-You’re going to go in? Directly?] She asks as if it was unexpected, and she’s right, originally I wouldn’t throw myself directly into the enemy army, but would let the armies fight on their own while I recovered my power.

But now I’m full of rage and have a lot of humans to vent, I already had Lilith’s death that made me furious, now they’ve blown up my troops, I really don’t need any more reasons.

”Yes, Elena, I’m going in, I’ll show them how scary a demon king can be” I say as the dragon accelerates going towards the enemy army, my shadow shark is hidden underground so as not to damage my own troops as well.

I look down and see that my troops have started to advance quickly, starting to run, the humans also seem to have noticed and have started running.

’1 minute until the armies collide’ I immediately create a large war hammer and put Violet inside it.

”So Violet, are you ready to help me?” I tried my best not to use Violet during my fight against the heroes because I wanted to defeat them with a power that was only mine.

So now I can freely use Violet’s support with powerful weapons to crush my enemies down there.

”Honestly, you’re so annoying, Pandora!! But go ahead, do whatever you want, I don’t care” She speaks irritated as I get into position on the dragon and start running and jump off it, tilting the hammer all the way back.

”How about an earthquake to start?” I murmur as I use magic to fire downwards, using Violet’s mana I fill the hammer with power as we accelerate downwards.

We’re going to fall right in the center of the enemy troops and as we approach the ground, I move the hammer forward, everything seems so slow, the humans don’t even notice my approach.

As I get close to the ground, I see the hammer reaching the ground, the mana release is so violent that the hammer doesn’t even touch the ground and everything is completely shattered.

A huge explosion sound is made while the entire plain gains cracks and stones start to fly while everything trembles, at the point of impact the shockwave is so violent that it destroys everything in the area creating a crater as if a meteor had fallen.

”...” I look around seeing that I’ve opened a huge hole in the enemy troops, but with no time to appreciate the damage, I drop the hammer and create a large scythe, advancing forward with magic.

”...” When I strike with the scythe blade, something stops it, generating a small shockwave, and I see that a human has stopped the blow, although he has been injured just by trying.

’I see, it seems they still have suitable people among the Rank S’ Stopping my blow is not easy, but without giving the human, who is much slower than me, time to react, I quickly generate a second scythe, decapitating him.

Since it’s a large and clumsy weapon, I end up just throwing one of the scythes forward, tearing apart the troops in its path.

”Violet, can you cut destiny, can’t you? It’s an interesting range of abilities, and I want to test how good your skills are” I say to her as I take an attack stance.

”...Okay, yes, yes, let’s do this quick! You’ll see how magnificent my powers are!” She speaks while everything seems to darken and I’m isolated in a dark place, but with millions of lines.

”These are the lives of all the humans in the area, just cut them and they die, but be quick!! Doing this drains a lot of mana” She speaks with urgency and without wasting time I start running, shattering the lines with the scythe.

I go from one side to the other, cutting each line I find, using the maximum speed I can, the time in here is strange, I feel slow even running fast.

’Most of the lines are quite thin...but some are stiffer and larger...’ I think this represents how strong the being’s life is.

And the sense of distance seems horrible, with something that looks close being far and something in the distance being close, but I focus completely on cutting the lines until my body freezes.

And everything goes back to normal, with me being outside of that place, still in the same location I was before Violet used her ability.

”...” I look around seeing that thousands of humans simply fall to the ground like toys that have lost their strings.

”Your abilities are always impressive” I admit to her as I use the darkness to devour the bodies.

”Of course...”

”But the number of humans doesn’t seem to have decreased at all” I cut her off before she started to boast.

’No matter how many I kill, there are too many humans here...’ If I could use mass destruction magic, it would be easier, but with their crystal, that becomes difficult.

”Hey Pandora, why don’t you just use your true form and devour everyone on top of your body? Or then make thousands of swords and put me in all of them?” Violet gives a good idea.

’Can Violet be in thousands of swords at once?’ It seems she’s more capable than I thought.

”Well, it seems like a good idea...” Although this is temporary, since I haven’t fully mastered my true form yet, but if it’s to reduce the number of enemies, boost the morale of my troops, and recover my mana, it might be worth it.

”However, I have a better idea” I say as I start to release my true form, but at the same time that I let the darkness spread, I also accumulate it, generating a giant ”bait” that I will control.

And quickly an area of the battlefield is covered with my body, I notice that the soldiers immediately start attacking, it seems Amiya has spoken about my true body to the humans.

’It doesn’t matter’ I generate a bait that is 30 meters tall, holding a large black and purple sword that Violet immediately invades.

”Violet, let’s keep using fencing” I say as thousands of mouths and eyes open and I start devouring all the humans who are on the black mud on the ground.

’The mana recovery of a single human is quite low, but with so many humans....maybe I can recover up to 90% of my mana’ I start to move the large body towards the humans who are using magic against me.

But I ignore that, advancing forward, I’ll just keep going until I find their crystal, and when I find them, they’ll be completely screwed.

I see a large holy barrier being raised and with that I give a malicious smile, knowing that Rosaline is here.

”How cute, Rosaline, thinking a barrier will stop me” I advance towards the barrier, knowing that if she is protecting this place, the crystal must be near her.

As soon as I reach the barrier, I hug it, starting to squeeze, I hear the sound of it cracking while the humans below look at the scene shocked, the black mud around also tightens, trying to get in.

”...” With one hand I lift the sword and strike, embedding the sword in the barrier and opening a hole, quickly my body infiltrates the breach, invading the barrier and spreading inside.

”HAHAHAHAHAHA” I laugh while I start devouring the humans inside, spreading my body throughout this place while I launch mana-made cuts forward, tearing apart the human army.

...

...

...

”Amiya, do you remember what we practiced?” I say to Amiya as she nods her head fearfully.

”Y-Yes, Saint Rosaline, I-I’ll do my best” She speaks, looking outside the tent, the demon king is really causing damage, but it doesn’t matter.

”Great, if you remember then start activating this magic, if the demon king destroys this crystal, we’ll have problems, so be quick!” I say as I draw a magic circle on the ground.

’I won’t let things end so quickly’ If killing the demon king is impossible, I also have a backup plan, if Amiya fails to kill the demon king, I will seal him.

This magic circle I’m drawing on the ground has enough power to seal him, but only if certain conditions are met, and that’s why I need Amiya to weaken the demon king.

It would be better if Amiya killed the demon king, but from what I’ve seen out there, I don’t know if Amiya alone can do that, so at least I’ll try to seal the demon king for a few millennia.

’The demon king is probably not good at identifying this type of seal’ Sealing through a neutral magic circle is an uncommon rarity, I myself only learned this because it is sacred knowledge passed down to each generation’s saint, and no one else knows this fact.

I will use the element of surprise to deceive the demon king and make him approach the seal close enough when he has already met all the conditions, that’s why I raised this barrier.

I knew it would attract the demon king, because this is where our crystal really is, and I’m willing to use the crystal as bait to lure him in.
